 Venice,  August  16th  2015

 To  whom  it  may  concern

I  first  met  Mr  Luca  Sfoggia  when  he  attended  my  lectures  on  Competitive  Analysis  in  the  fall  of  2013,  and  I  was  later  his  bachelor  thesis  supervisor.    From  an  academic  standpoint,  Luca  proved  to  be  a  motivated  and  skilled  student,  diligent  in  complying  with  tasks  and  deadlines;  he  has  a  lot  of  creative  ideas  and  he  is  also  always  open  to   accept   suggestions   and   criticism.   In  writing   the   thesis,   Luca  was   very   efficient,   quick   in  grasping  the   important  clues  of   the  project,   interactive   in   the  discussion  on  the  background  and  methodology   of   the   protocol,   and   demonstrated   capacity   of   independent   judgment.   He  conducted   the   study   in   a   well-‐organized   manner   showing   ability   in   dealing   with   practical  difficulties  arising  during  the  conduit  of  the  study.    I  know  Luca  to  be  a  very  nice  person  that  collaborates  and  integrates  well  with  other  people.  He  is  a  motivated  resource,  interested  in  challenging  and  demanding  working  opportunities.  I  believe  his  broad  cultural  background  ranging  from  management  to  humanities,  coupled  with  many  years  in  competitive  sports,  sharpened  both  his  skills  and  his  sense  of  determination.    I  am  confident  that  his  ability  to  think  out  the  box  to  approach  problems  from  different  angles,  coming  up  with  creative  solutions,  makes  him  a  valuable  asset  to  any  organization  fortunate  enough  to  hire  him  and  I  give  Luca  my  warmest  recommendations  and  wish  him  the  best  of  luck  in  his  future  career.

Sincerely,

 Pietro  Lanzini,  PhD
