Ford Mustang GT 2015

Ford is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Mustang , the iconic ' muscle-car ' Blue Oval unveiled for the first time on April 16, 1964. As part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the Mustang , one of the most recognizable American icons , Ford brought a copy of the new 2015 model on top of another icon , the Empire State Building in New York, to be admired by visitors to the historic skyscraper. "When the project was approved Mustang , 50 years ago, I do not think it was a predictable success so overwhelming and long-lasting ," said Bill Ford, executive chairman of Ford Motor Company. "Being here in New York, where the Mustang was unveiled for the first time at the World Exhibition of 1964, and recreate a historical event for all fans Mustang , it's really exciting." The event was commemorated one of the historical presentations of the first Mustang, which was exhibited in 1965 at the last floor of the Empire State Building after making his debut at the World's Fair in New York in 1964. " When we decided to retrace the steps of 1964 and bring the Mustang Empire State Building , we immediately realized that we needed the expertise of those who work with tractional methods ," explained George Samulski , Design and Fabrication Manager , Ford North America. "The elevators were the only way forward : no crane , in fact, is able to reach such high altitudes , and the antennas that dominate the observatory on the top floor made it impossible to transport it by helicopter ." When the Empire State Building opened to the public in 1931 , it was the tallest building in the world , a title held for nearly 40 years. In those years , no one would have imagined that the elevators would never transported a car. Yet , in 1965 the prototype of the first Mustang was divided into three sections and transported to the top floor , where it was reassembled and displayed to the public . " In 1965 the only problem I had was the steering wheel ," said Claude Cochran, one of the technicians , now retired, who led the Mustangs on the Empire State Building. " The segment that housed the windshield and the front of the car was too wide, but it was enough to tilt it a bit ' to be able to pass ." To achieve it, Ford has given the team 2 copies pre-production of the Mustang 2015. Ford has unveiled at the New York Motor Show its vision for the future of luxury transportation : the new Skyliner Transit Concept, a version of the new Transit whose interior has been transformed into the most exclusive and elegant environments . The Skyliner Transit Concept emphasizes the functionality and versatility of the Transit commercial vehicle Ford 2 ton whose new generation was launched earlier this year. The transformation of the new Transit in luxury vehicle to transport people highlights the many possibilities of configuration and customization that characterize it, thanks to a range which, in Europe , more than 3,800 combinations of models , versions , levels of capacity and equipment . With a decade long experience of manufacturing and installing designer concrete in the hospitality, leisure, retail and other commercial, public and residential sectors - IVANKA unveils RAINHOUSE - The Water of Life a project based on a revolutionary rainwater management system. The Budapest-based studio and brand founded by Katalin and Andras Ivanka developed a special concrete and designed a system that harvest rain and and turns it into the highest quality drinking water. The project premiered at Milan Design Week with the RAINHOUSE installation at Superstudio Più gardens. Here a 1:1 scale rainstation model showed how the real system works so that the visitors could preview and taste the first harvested pure rainwater collection. In Milan IVANKA explained also the future harvesting rainwater stations and their vision foreseeing the possible impact of this technology on worldwide water management both in economical, social and environmental fields. water. Both the technical specification of this material and the process itself distinguishes this new system from the traditional ways of rainwater collection. The specific technology allows filtering raw rain only physically in a strictly natural way without chemicals so the equipment can produce the highest quality, sun-distilled drinking water. The technology’s testing is taking place in the location of IVANKA’s owners at Balaton Uplands National Park where geographic parameters are the most suitable for the project in Central-Europe. Lake Balaton is the largest freshwater-surface of Europe so the air is especially pure and rainfalls are favorably frequent in that region. Why rainwater? As Katalin and Andras Ivanka comment, ‘Because of the global population growth more and more freshwater is needed on Earth. Freshwater is an indispensable material of life but unfortunately nowadays it is becoming more and more difficult to get it. I look for them everywhere I go and fixed emotions and memories of that time and place. The seeds are capsules of my memories . “ Close Up is a lamp made of glass and porcelain. The "seeds" made of porcelain (bone china) are hand-carved by Cristina Vezzini, in his studio in London. The glass part is made from blown Sheng Tsang Chen, without the help of a mold, so that each piece is unique.
