Hyundai prototype E4U

Presented by Hyundai at the Seoul Motor Show in 2013, the prototype E4U plays an innovative concept of future mobility "personnel" whose name "E4U" English is really four concepts that all begin with the letter "E": Egg, Evolution, Electricty and Eco-friendliness: in practice a means of transportation evolved, in the form of "egg", with electric propulsion and eco-friendliness. The sinuous lines and elongated in fact recall the design of an egg, and can carry ideally a single "driver" that can "drive" the vehicle simply by moving your own body weight-forward or to the side. An electric system (with gyro) controls the speed and steering of E4U, which may be the ideal solution in the city, where it allows to move easily weighs 80kg (including battery) and can reach 30 km / h top speed - all with 100% electric power. To minimize the space required when parking, the main elements of the medium (rear and side) can be folded and extracts only when needed: ready to use, has a height of 1.230mm, a width of 1.080mm and a depth of 920mm .. The project E4U was one of the winners of the IDEA Festival 2012, 'competition organized by Hyundai among all of its R & D centers located all over the world (there are six: South Korea, Japan, India, Germany, USA and China) to spur technicians to freely express their creativity. Presentato da Hyundai al Salone dell’Auto di Seul 2013, il prototipo E4U interpreta un innovativo concetto di futura mobilità “personale” il cui nome “E4U” racchiude quattro concetti inglesi che iniziano tutti con la lettera “E”: Egg, Evolution, Electricty ed Eco-friendliness: in pratica un mezzo di trasporto evoluto, a forma di “uovo”, con propulsione elettrica ed eco-compatibilità. Le linee sinuose ed allungate richiamano infatti il design di un uovo, e può trasportare idealmente un singolo “guidatore”, che può “guidare” il veicolo semplicemente spostando il peso del proprio corpo –in avanti o di lato. Un sistema elettrico (con giroscopio) controlla la velocità e la sterzata di E4U, che può risultare la soluzione ideale in città, dove permette di muoversi agevolmente: pesa 80kg (compresa la batteria) e può raggiungere i 30 km/h di velocità massima – tutto con alimentazione 100% elettrica. Per ridurre al minimo lo spazio necessario in fase di parcheggio, i principali elementi del mezzo (posteriori e laterali) possono essere ripiegati ed estratti solo quando necessario: pronto all’uso, ha un’altezza di 1.230mm, una larghezza pari a 1.080mm ed una profondità di 920mm.. Il progetto E4U è risultato uno dei vincitori dell'IDEA Festival 2012,' competizione organizzata da Hyundai fra tutti i propri Centri R&D dislocati in tutto il mondo (sono sei: Corea del Sud, Giappone, India, Germania, Usa e Cina) per spronare i tecnici ad esprimere liberamente la propria creatività.
