EDITORIALLettori UN1CI,siamo al nostro ottavo incontro tra le pagine di UN1QUE Magazine e ci si avvicina la chiusura della stagione estiva di raduni ed eventi. Una stagione che, come sempre continuerà, da un paio di anni, online, in particolare su Facebook, in pagine, gruppi e

modo in periodo di crisi, in bilico; la nostra speranza è che anche online si possa discutere in modo costruttivo senza che giudizi o

passata, ma anche della situazione della scena tuning - custom moderna attuale in Italia. Nella mia opinione personale, la parola che rimbomba nella mia testa è “IMMOBILISMO”: nella nostra nazione sono spesso gli stessi appassionati che non vogliono andare avanti, andare oltre la situazione presente, scarsa è la ricerca di migliorare le vetture, gli stili e soprattutto gli eventi. Quest’ultimi,

le competizioni e chi eliminarle del tutto. Premesso che ognuno è libero di pensare, organizzare e partecipare come e dove

locali ci possono anche essere piccole competizioni, ma sempre senza eccedere nel numero di premi e soprattutto nell’aggiunta

gallerie online e nuovi spunti, la realizzazione della propria passione sulla propria auto e/o Club. Non esiste un’elitè o chi si possa sentire tale nel mondo del tuning, perchè il tutto è molto passeggero: le tendenze, le migliori realizzazioni, i colori, gli stili, ecc... Si può chiamare elite solo chi vuole un tuning migliore senza dare un proprio aiuto in territorio nazionale, chi partecipa solo a eventi

una scena tuning italiana diversa anche nella realtà e non solo nel mondo dorato online... le alternative ci sono, ora; spero

l’iniziativa UN1QUE Cruise Tour, ecc... L’ultima mia parola spetta all’Expo Tuning Torino che si terrà dal 8 al 10 Febbraio

3° RIVIGNANOMotor Expo

Il 27 Maggio 2012 si è svolta a Rivignano (UD) la terza edizione dell’omonimo Motor Expo, organizzato dall’Over Tuning Team. Un raduno che ha riscontrato moltissimi apprezzamenti da parte degli appassionati presenti provenienti da tutto il nord Italia e non solo , grazie anche a un’ottima location. Di anno in anno questo appuntamento diventa sempre più un evento immancabile!!

VI CONCEPTTuning Day

Sabato pomeriggio e sera del 14 Luglio 2012 a Grassobbio (BG) alcune delle migliori auto personalizzate della Lombardia, e non solo, si sono radunate in occasione della sesta edizione del Concept Tuning Day, organizzato dall’omonimo Club in collaborazione con Carrozzeria Terzi. Un’altro ottimo appuntamento da segnare sul calendario.

Fabio lives in Pescara, 27 years old, works as a clerk in a store selling clothing and accessories, as well as the tuning his hobbies are scubadiving and tattoo art.WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS CAR AS THE BASIS OF YOUR PROJECT? It was my second car. After becoming a little bit more experienced with tuning, with an old Peugeot 106 from when I got my license, I was so anxious to have a personalized car and un1que that after less than a year I replaced

HOW MANY ARE THE STEPS FOR MAKING CURRENT CAR? The Clio has undergone many changes, all of them annually, but essentially were three

version had a design time and processing total of four months. From a simple conversation came around to the Clio we decided to remake the four wheel arches, but, as I had in mind, wer had to replace the rims. Since I was using the car every day, it needed a freshen up (scratches, door marks), so it was decided to remove the handles. At that point the car was almost all wrapped up and so we decided to change the color!WHAT HAVE YOU TAKEN FROM INSPIRATION? As mentioned earlier, the Clio, since 2006, has faced three different steps, representing various styles of tuning at that time were seen mostly in Italy and across Europe. I’ve always bought foreign tuning magazines in which there were several cars, special and different to inspire you!WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS COMBINATION OF COLORS? As they had been the previous colors, the combination of blue (original color Porsche mod. GT3-RS) and brown (special color run from the body OSCar after

I work for a large company of clothing and accessories for a long time, as we all know, fashion is the main source of inspiration for all that surrounds us. There are people-teachers, year after year, or better, season by season, that choose the colors of the products that will invade our lives. The blue smurf, in its various shades, it was a color of choice for many products, and one of his matches, is especially with brown, I was very impressed. From an early age what made me crazy were rally cars, so special and different from those normally that I saw in my city. I began, then, to examin sports cars and

a larger scale the phenomenon of Tuning and customization of vehicles. I attented the gatherings of Abruzzo, Marche and Molise even before i had the Clio. I think I’m in the scene from more or less from the year 2002.WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE HELPED YOU IN THE MAKING OF THE CLIO? I have to thank my two friends and bodyworkers Oscar and Mitya that, among other things, I knew them by mistake (but that’s another good

I invite you to keep track of this project because it will be really big ones!WHICH IN YOUR OPINION IS THE BEST ITALIAN PREPARARTION? AND EUROPEAN? In Italy there are many cars really well done, tasteful and varied style, and there are many good working bodyshops. Apart from the cars Body OSCar (for which I would be biased) I’ve always liked the work

I live in Pescara and, fortunately, from many years, there is a club of classic VW so I see a lot of cars around the city. My “ball” have always been the VW vans and desire of owning one has become bigger and bigger until, last May, I have concluded the purchase of a VW Bay Window Double Cab from 1967. For a long time I was following foreign journals dedicated to VW aircooled and, to date, I can safely say that I have clear understanding of the changes and the style that my bus will get , it will not be a classic restoration, but a real project customization of the bodywork and upholstery for the next 2013!HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE “FOLLOWERS” OF THE ITALIAN TUNING SCENE? A good 80% of the Italian tuners have not got good taste, false and envious. The remaining 20% is pursuing a healthy passion.WHAT IS THE MENTALITY IN ITALY? The mentality of the average tuner is to modify a car so as to win more trophies as possible in gathering on Sundays. Fortunately, for some time now, we are seeing a slight change of ways of doing and thinking, but the road ahead is still very very long.TELL US YOUR EXPERIENCE IN YOUR TUNING CLUB. It all started back in 2005. I met some guys who were part of the ‘R2 Tuning Club Abruzzo, a branch of one of the clubs in force in those years. L ‘R2 Tuning Club was born in Rome in March 2002 and quickly followed by sections in Abruzzo, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany and Lombardy. I asked to join the club with my 106, even though it was only an “experiment” of tuning .... I had to wait until the spring of 2006 to become a member of the club. With them I spent some wonderful moments, and took part in many rallies in Abruzzo and neighboring regions. We have organized three rallies that borught to Peescara a large number of tuners from all over Italy. At the end of 2008 we found ourselves as the only active section and, as also the headquarters of Rome had been closed, it no longer made sense to hold the name of a club which, though famous and multi-winner in the country, now no longer existed. It was decided to close it. In September 2009, along with some former members of the ‘R2 Abruzzo and some new guys, it was decided to start actively and to create what is now the Dolphins Tuning Club, a group of friends with the same passion and common great ambitions. One of the objectives of the Club was to attend meetings until then, for us, were “out

Two tuners wants to open his own club to show the other that he is “cool”, which is able to have more members, to have more cars, etc. .. This is how the silly rivalry, you start to argue for more cars as possible in your area, you will lose friends and enter into

“Oversize”. We went on several meets but also organised some pretty cool meets. Then it took its way and I started visiting meets all over Europe.HOW IS LUXEMBOURG AREA TUNING SCENE? Our scene wasn’t so bad when we created “Oversize”, but as we are all pretty busy with our own stuff we don(t have time anymore to organise meets, and now there are many guys who want to push the scene put till now they haven’t achieved the point I think. Badly I don’t have time anymore to visit our local meets.WHICH IS, FOR YOUR OPINION , THE BEST EVENT EVER? The best I have been till now was M.I.V.W., it is incredible what Cor and his crew made of this event in the last years. You can meet everyone who’s into the VAG scene, and you can also see all of the famous European VAG cars.IN WHAT EVENT YOU DREAM TO GO AND PHOTOGRAPH? I love meets on cool locations, I liked the location of the “Infamous3 meet this year in the states (Queen Mary / Long Beach CA).WHAT CAR DO YOU DREAM TO SHOOT? There are so many amazing cars out there, but I think if I really had to chose only on car it would be Mark Arcenal’s Rauh-Welt Begriff Porsche 964 “Pandora One”. As the 964 is my favourite Porsche this car is like the perfect car for me.WHO IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER INSPIRATION? My inspiration comes from many photographers, I like Easton Chang, Larry Chan, Sean Klingelhoefer, Lingberg Nguyen, Andy Wee, but also guys who are not into car photography like Jeff Curtes an Dean Blotto Grey from Burton.WHAT DO YOU KNOW AND THINK ABOUT ITALIAN TUNING-MODERN CUSTOM? Sadly I haven’t been on Italian meets but all the stuff I saw in magazines and on internet blogs I really liked a lot.WHAT ARE MAJOR DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LUXEMBOURG/GERMAN AREA AND ITALY? As already described I can’t really judge about the Italian scene, but if I compare the Germans to the people from Luxembourg I have to say that the Germans are much more detail obsessed, more into OEM+. We only have a few guys like Tom Schmeler, Eric VR, some JDM guys and a few BMW freaks who are really into this detail obsessed tuning scene.HAVE YOU A PERSONAL CAR PROJECT? For the Moment I own a VW MKV GTI Edition 30 which I lowered with customised H&R coilovers, some engine tuning and I have some rare BBS RF’s from the 80’s which I am customizing for the next year but I won’t change much more. Pendant la preparation il y avait tellement de lissage sur toute la voiture que tous les gens qui la voyait me disait “c’est pas du tuning sa, sa ressemble a rien ce que tu fait !” et moi .. je prier pour que le
