Museum der Wissenschaften in Trento
MUSE:, ein Traum wird wahr, eine
nicht alltägliche Attraktion, die nach
dem Vorbild von internationalen
wissenschaftlichen Zentren und
Museen gestaltet wurde. Eine
neue Art das Museum zu erleben:
Multimediale Ausstellungen,
interaktive Spiele, Selbstexperimente
und die Learning-by-doing-Methode.

The architectural design by Renzo
Piano is an extraordinary added
value: the outline of the building plays
with the outline of the surrounding
mountains. Both permanent exhibition
routes highlight the natural dimension
of the Alpine region and create a
dialogue between the Alps and the rest
of the world, between local sensitivity
and global commitment, between
nature preservation and science
and technology, with sustainable
development in mind. Some of the
strong points: the tropical glasshouse,
Maxi Ooh!, the special room planned
exclusively for small children, and the
biggest dinosaur exhibition in the Alps.
La struttura architettonica firmata
dall’architetto Renzo Piano è uno
straordinario valore aggiunto e
il profilo dell’edificio gioca con
rimandi alle montagne circostanti.
All’interno, due percorsi espositivi
permanenti raccontano il territorio
alpino mettendolo in dialogo con
il resto del mondo, in un incontro
tra sensibilità locali e impegno
globale, tra conservazione della
natura e scienza all’insegna dello
sviluppo sostenibile. Tra i punti di
forza: una serra tropicale, il Maxi
Ooh! spazio unico a misura di
piccolissimi e la più grande mostra
di dinosauri dell’arco alpino.

verleiht dem Museum einen zusätzlichen und
außergewöhnlichen Wert: die Fassade des
Gebäudes und die umliegenden Berge werden
zu einem Wechselspiel. Die beiden Rundgänge
Dauerausstellung betonen die natürliche
Dimension des Alpengebietes. Sie schaffen
einen Dialog zwischen den Alpenregionen
und der übrigen Welt, zwischen dem lokalen
Empfindungsvermögen und dem globalen
Engagement, zwischen der Erhaltung der
Natur und der Wissenschaft und Technologie
im Zeichen einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung. In
folgendem liegt die Stärke des Museums: Das
tropische Gewächshaus, der “Maxi Ooh!”-Raum
- der eigentlich für die Kleineren geplant ist - und
die größte Dinosaurierausstellung in den Alpen.
Two dismantled road tunnels that
are now dedicated to the history of
Trentino and its communities
The Black Tunnel hosts large and
evocative installations which have
a strong visual impact. There are
300 metres of non-stop stories and
histories with a deep emotional
impact. Walking through the Black
Tunnel is a step-by-step immersion
in history.
The White Tunnel provides
facilities for events and descriptive
installations. This is the place
where the emotions raised in the
black tunnel are described. The
White Tunnel is as well a space
dedicated to meetings, congresses
and temporary exhibitions.

alla storia del Trentino e delle
sue comunità
La Galleria Nera è il tunnel
dedicato alle suggestioni, è
lo spazio dell’impatto visivo.
300 metri ininterrotti di grandi
installazioni, di storia e di
storie di chiara forza emotiva.
Percorrere la Galleria Nera
significa immergersi nella storia,
un passo alla volta.
La Galleria Bianca offre spazi
per eventi e istallazioni di
carattere analitico. Nei suoi
spazi le emozioni del tunnel nero
trovano spiegazione. La Galleria
Bianca è anche il luogo destinato
agli incontri, ai congressi e alle
esibizioni temporanee.
Le Gallerie sind zwei ehemalige
Straßentunnels, die nunmehr in Form
eines Museums der Geschichte des
Trentino und seiner Bevölkerung
gewidmet sind. Die Galleria Nera
(schwarzer Tunnel) enthält überwiegend
visuelles Material. Auf 300 m Länge
enorme Anlagen, die emotionsreiche
Eindrücke über die Vergangenheit
vermitteln und über ergreifende
Ereignisse berichten. Bei einem Besuch
im schwarzen Tunnel taucht man Schritt
für Schritt in die Geschichte des Trentino
ein. In der Galleria Bianca (weißer
Tunnel) finden Events statt, die mit
multimedialen Anlagen realisiert werden.
Hier gibt es für die im schwarzen Tunnel
empfundenen Emotionen eine Erklärung.
Der weiße Tunnel bietet auch Meetings,
Kongressen und Wanderausstellungen
