Dall’evoluzione del divano Strips, nascono anche “Pecorelle” , una variante costituita da poltrona e divanetto, dove il corpo viene posizionato su esili gambe nere, che ricordano appunto le pecorelle. L’arch. Cini Boeri racconta che fu ispirata dalle opere di Christo Vladimirov Javasev e Jeanne-Claude Denat de Guillebon, maestri nell’arte della pittura di paesaggio. La natura prende così il sopravvento ed è la musa ispiratrice di questo nuovo pezzo di design. “Le pecorelle sono un po’ cresciute, ed anche si sono imbarcate per l’America! Un bel record per delle pecore ..........sta cambiando il mondo!” Cini Boeri 2010From the evolution of sofa Strips, we have “Pecorelle”, a version consisting of armchair and small sofa,where the body is positioned on thin black legs, that remember exactly the sheep. Arch. Cini Boeri tells that she was inspired by the works of Christo Vladimirov Javasev and Jeanne-ClaudeDenat de Guillebon, masters in the the art of landscape painting. Agli inizi degli anni 70 l’arch. Cini Boeri ha rivoluzionato il settore del mobile con il suo pezzo che è rimasto ormai un “evergreen”, il divano componibile Strips che appartiene alla storia di ar� ex. Sicuramente uno dei prodotti più famosi, disegnato nel 1972, ha guadagnato il riconoscimento del premio Compasso d’oro ed è esposto in vari musei nel mondo come alla Triennale di Milano, a Tokyo, al Moma di New York, etc. Prodotto caratterizzato da una fodera trapuntata completamente sfoderabile. Disponibile anche nella versione letto e divano-letto, la modularità consente in� nite combinazioni. L’arch. Cini Boeri ha sempre cercato di realizzare idee innovative in modo da poter migliorare la qualità della vita. Questa idea è stata applicata soprattutto allo Strips letto, dove il rivestimento diventa parte integrante del letto: con una semplice cerniera, il letto viene coperto e rifatto, aggiungendo soltanto il cuscino. Anche nel divano, le imbottiture sono parte integrante del rivestimento, posizionate su un’anima di legno, imbottitura con poliuretano (indeformabile) per poter garantire maggior comfort di seduta: tutti materiali innovativi, utilizzati nel settore per le prime volte.At the beginning of the seventies Arch. Cini Boeri revolutionized the furniture market with a product range, nowadays an “evergreen”: the modular sofas Strips , which belong to the history of ar� ex. It deals of one of the most famous products, designed in1972, which awarded the prize Compasso d’Oro and it is displayed in several museums in the world, like the Triennale in Milan, in Tokyo, Moma in New York, etc….The main characteristic is a removable quilted cover. Available also as a bed and as a sofa-bed, its modularity allows countless combinations. Arch. Cini Boeri always tried to realize innovative ideas to improve the quality of life. This idea was applied to the Strips bed, where the cover becomes part of the bed itself: by opening a simple zip, the bed is ready, only a pillow must be added. Also for the sofa, the padding are an integral part of the cover, positioned on a wooden frame, same are in non-deformable polyurethane foam, to guarante the best comfort of the seat: all innovative materials, used for the � rst time in the furniture market.

Questo divano ha introdotto un sistema rivoluzionario per assemblare i cuscini e i braccioli alla base. I cuscini sono semplicemente in� lati in un telaio in tubolare metallico che garantisce rigidità e resistenza all’uso del divano. Basamento in multistrato accoppiato con � bra e rivestito. Schienali e braccioli: struttura portante interna in tubolare metallico verniciato. Ogni elemento (schienale, sedile, bracciolo) è imbottito e rivestito singolarmente. Imbottitura in poliuretano espanso indeformabile a densità differenziate e fodera in � bra. È totalmente sfoderabile. Bobo, disegnato da Cini Boeri nel 1967, è uno dei primi esempi di un sedile monoblocco realizzato esclusivamente con schiume poliuretaniche e privo di struttura interna.Bobolungo, Boboletto e Bobo Relax nati dalla costola di Bobo, costituiscono con questo un’insolita e curiosa famiglia di arredi essenziali, un esempio di design puro,senza etichetta e senza aggettivi. Bobo Divano nato dal predecessore Bobo Relax del 1967, il cui design era scaturito dalla ricerca di una forma plastica monoblocco. È realizzato con l’impiego di schiume poliuretaniche espanse a densità graduata, nella quale non esiste alcuna struttura rigida interna.Bobo, designed by Cini Boeri in 1967, is one of the � rst examples of a monobloc seat made exclusively of polyurethane foam, without an internal frame. Bobolungo, Boboletto and Bobo Relax created from Bobo, make up a curious and unusual family of essential furnishings, an example of pure design, without etiquettes and adjectives. Bobo Divano was born from the previous Bobo Relax of the year 1967, whose design came out from the research of a monobloc plastic shape. It is manufactured using polyurethane foams in differentiated density, without an internal rigid frame. The design expresses plastically the research of synthesis and continuity of the shape.

Martingala_ MARCO ZANUSO

Se qualcuno pensasse che il legame tra design e moda sia invenzione dei nostri giorni, osservi la poltrona Martingala, disegnata da Marco Zanuso e prodotta da Ar� ex per la X Triennale del 1954. Utilizzando materiali già sperimentati con Lady, il nastro cord, utilizzato per la prima volta in verticale, e la gommapiuma, in questa poltrona la novità caratterizzante è costituita dalla sua forma continua ed avvolgente, in cui il bracciolo non si differenzia più dallo schienale ma diventa tutt’uno con esso. Inoltre, come l’abito di una bella signora che evidenzia le sue forme, pensiamo ad un tailleur con giacca corta e stretta in vita tipicamente anni Cinquanta, il rivestimento della poltrona Martingala si stringe sul retro proprio in una martingala che evidenzia nello stesso tempo la possibilità di rimuovere il tessuto per un’eventuale sostituzione o per il lavaggio : è la prima poltrona sfoderabile.If you think that the connection between design and fashions is only recently invented, simply look at such an armchair, Martingala, designed by Marco Zanuso and manufactured by Ar� ex on the occasion of the X Triennale in 1954. Siamo nel 1964 e Marco Zanuso realizza per Ar� ex questo modello davvero intramontabile, che potrebbe essere disegnato oggi come quarant’anni fa. Woodline esprime qualche riferimento al design nordico per la struttura in legno, disegnata per intero con i raggi di differenti circonferenze. Anche in questa poltrona non compare più l’elastico in gomma, in favore di quello metallico, in lamiera d’acciaio. Struttura a vista in compensato curvato impiallacciato tinto wengé o laccato nero o bianco. Molleggio ottenuto con lamine in acciaio armonico con imbottitura in poliuretano espanso indeformabile e fodera in � bra. Totalmente sfoderabile, ad eccezione della versione in pelle.In 1964 Marco Zanuso designed for Ar� ex such an evergreen model, which could be designed at present precisely as forty years ago. Woodline partially recalls the nordic design, possibly because of the wooden structure, entirely designed with reys of different circumferences. In una pagina pubblicitaria di Pirelli degli anni Cinquanta, la poltrona Fiorenza, disegnata da Franco Albini nel 1952, è utilizzata come immagine - simbolo delle potenzialità della gommapiuma, che veste come un guanto e rappresenta in quegli anni il materiale tecnologicamente più avanzato nella produzione di mobili imbottiti.In a � fties’ Pirelli advertisement the Fiorenza armchair, designed by Franco Albini in 1952, was used as an image of foam rubber’s potential, which � ts like a glove and at that time was the most technologically advanced material used in upholstered furniture.

L’estrema essenzialità formale di questi imbottiti, progettati nel 1976, ne fanno un prodotto tuttora attualissimo. La serie è composta da elementi modulari, per realizzare in� nite composizioni, tutti completamente sfoderabili. Basamento in multistrato accoppiato con � bra e rivestito. Marco Zanuso ed Ar� ex esordiscono insieme alla IX Triennale di Milano del 1951, con Lady, la prima poltrona in serie, per rinnovare il gusto e il mondo del paesaggio domestico tradizionale. Il suo successo fu immediato e valse ai suoi autori la Medaglia d’Oro di questa IX Triennale, prima edizione dopo la parentesi dovuta alla guerra. Lady diventa una poltrona fatta di più elementi singoli, imbottiti e rivestiti e poi assemblati separatamente, utilizzando due materiali sintetici accoppiati, i supporti elastici in nastro cord e la gommapiuma, sperimentata da Pirelli nel settore dell’aviazione militare.Marco Zanuso and Ar� ex started working together on the occasion of the IX Triennale in Milan in 1951, with Lady, the � rst armchair designed to be serially manufactured and to renew taste and traditional interior furnishing. Its success was with no equal and its authors attending the IX Triennale were awarded with the Gold Metal, the � rst edition after the war. Lady was the � rst armchair consisting of single units, upholstered and covered and then separately assembled, by means of two synthetic materials coupled together, elastic supports in Cord ribbons and soft foam, tested by Pirelli in the military aviation sector.
