Grazie al suo approccio multidisciplinare ecomplementare, il team di BlueStar ha l’obiettivo digenerare valore aggiunto grazie a diversi motori diperformance.

Le attività vanno dalla ricerca macroeconomicafondamentale e tematica a modelli di asset allocationsistematici proprietari, dalla selezione di fondi terzi e titolisingoli ad attività di copertura e trading con strumentiderivati.

Ogni attività ha un suo ruolo specifico nel processo diinvestimento, in modo da poter sommare il loro valoreaggiunto e non correre il rischio che si annullino tra diloro.

BlueStar nasce nel 2016,quando la passione e l’esperienzadecennale dei partner si è unita aVeco Invest, società di wealthmanagement consolidata datempo sul mercato.

BlueStar è autorizzata ai sensi dellaLICol (legge federale sugliinvestimenti collettivi di capitale)come fund manager ed è pertantosoggetta alla sorveglianza dellaFINMA (autorità federale divigilanza sui mercati finanziari) edoffre servizi di consulenza finanziariarivolta alla clientela istituzionale.

La società è investment manager di

4 fondi d’investimento UCITS V egestisce circa CHF 260M.

La società ha sede a Lugano,Svizzera, ed è composta da

6 professionisti.

Approccio TematicoL’approccio tematico è volto all’individuazione mega trend di crescita di lungotermine e all’individuazione di settori con profilo risk/reward più interessante nelmedio termine.

ValoreL’obiettivo è evitare di investire su indici azionari e obbligazionari indifferenziati,privilegiando aree dove vediamo valore a 12-24 mesi.

Il fondo investe con la stessa filosofia anche su valute e materie prime ed èconnotato da una gestione totalmente «benchmark free».

Protezione Drawdown

Il controllo del rischio di mercato è presente in ogni momento del ciclo finanziario,con l’obiettivo di difendere il più possibile durante i drawdown e di partecipareallo stesso tempo nelle fasi di rialzo. Lo scopo è quello di minimizzare la volatilitàdel fondo a seconda del contesto di mercato.

Ogni posizione viene monitorata su tre livelli: performance (assoluta e relativa) ed evoluzione della

volatilità.

Di conseguenza, ogni tema d’investimento viene controllato in termini di performance assoluta e

relativa.

Il contatto regolare con i gestori dei fondi sottostanti permette di ottenere le informazioni dettagliate

sul posizionamento degli stessi.

Attraverso il sistema di gestione del portafoglio proprietario, tali informazioni vengono rielaborate

(lookthrough) in maniera tale da monitorare puntualmente l’esposizione del fondo BlueStar a diversi

fattori di rischio, il posizionamento geografico, settoriale e net exposure.

Conoscendo l’allocazione valutaria, geografica e settoriale complessiva del portafoglio è infatti

possibile evitare eventuali rischi di concentrazione.
