In pazienti con diabete: • La CI si sviluppa prima1
• È più alta l’incidenza di ischemia silente ed infarto asintomatico2,3
• L’effetto protettivo del sesso femminile è abolito4 – Infatti, le donne diabetiche hanno un rischio
relativo di CI del 50% più alto rispetto a quello degli uomini diabetici
