Nei dintorni del comune di Cuceglio, località situata tra le verdi colline moreniche del Canavese, nel nord Piemonte, sorgevano “Le Guie”, sorgenti anticamente utilizzate per la coltivazione della canapa. Queste terre forniscono l’habitat perfetto per l’Erbaluce, antico e autoctono vitigno che, grazie alle sua duttilità, si esprime al meglio, oltre che come vino fermo anche nelle varianti Passito, Brut Meodo Charmat. Oggi, “Le Guie” rappresenta uno dei marchi più rappresentativi di Tenuta Roletto, azienda vinicola aperta al mercato globale pur sempre mantenendo grande attenzione alle antiche tradizioni. Passione, tradizione e ambizione: elementi fondamentali, ieri come oggi. The “Guie”, which according to the local dialect means water springs used for hemp cultivation, were abundant in the areas surrounding Cuceglio, a small village situated along the green Morenic hills of Canavese, in the northern part of Piedmonte. This land is the perfect habitat for the Erbaluce, ancient and authoctonus grapevine which thanks to its ductile properties can be found as firm wine but also in Passito dessert wine and sparkling Brut charmat method. Today, “Le Guie” represents one of the most representative brands of Tenuta Roletto, a winery that has opened up to the global market although always stressing the importance of local and ancient traditions.
