At the same time, according to the characteristicsdetailed in the project brief, Cofi starts the construction of the required refrigeration plant, completely made in-house.Specialist technicians then proceed to the delicate mounting of the body cell on the chosen truck and before putting it on the road, starts a triple safety check procedure: a first test on the functionality of thee refrigeration unit only and two tests on general behaviour of the cell and the refrigeration unit together.It is standard practice in these projects that following these tests quality conformance certificates are issued.

The line specifically developed for the delivery of fresh products (milk, cheese, fruit, meat & fish) at a positive temperature, which warrants the maximum thermal stability in every condition. Achieving extremely flexible solutions, customized thanks to the use of eutectic plates, air ventilation and diesel units, plus a huge choice of mixed hybrid transport configurations.

Our signature product, the Cofi Frozen line body cells for the transport of ice-cream and frozen foods, are equipped with innovative side doors which allow for a better retention of cold and facilitate for faster loading and unloading operations.

A winning formula for the combined transport of ice creams, frozen foods, fresh products, dairy products and frozen goods of various types, like for example ice. The body cell is divided in independent compartments and the temperatures are regulated by separate thermostats and fans. A special vehicle, equipment with multi- compartment ATP certified body cells, which construction process in Italy is owned by Cofi.
