arper’s progress in ecodesignArper affronta il tema dell’ambiente da diversi anni, in tutti gli aspetti del proprio sistema aziendale: nella progettazione, nella scelta dei materiali, nel processo produttivo e nella professionalità delle persone che lavorano in azienda, come testimonia la certificazione di gestione ambientale IS0 14001 (2006).A conferma di questo approccio rigoroso Arper utilizza un metodo scientifico per analizzare l’impatto ambientale dei propri prodotti: l’LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) che ne valuta gli effetti sull’ambiente, dall’estrazione delle materie prime, alle fasi della realizzazione, all’utilizzo ed allo smaltimento. Arper considera ed elabora i risultati di questa analisi approfondita, per migliorare costantemente i prodotti già esistenti e per progettarne di nuovi in un’ottica ecocompatibile.Il metodo LCA è alla base anche dell’ecolabel EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) che rende pubblico l’impatto ambientale delle sedute Catifa 46, Catifa 53 e Babar: una dimostrazione di trasparenza e impegno concreto. All’interno del percorso ambientale intrapreso dall’azienda si inseriscono anche la certificazione Greenguard che attesta il rispetto delle normative USA sulle emissioni negli ambienti chiusi da parte di tutte le sedute Arper, e la certificazione Geca, riconosciuta a livello internazionale in conformità alla norma ISO 14024 (Ecolabel di Tipo I) e conferita alle collezioni Leaf, Duna, Palm, Catifa 46 e Catifa 53 per il rispetto una serie di criteri ecologici stabiliti a livello comunitario.

Arper has been addressing environmental issues for some years now in all aspects of the company and its systems. Our environmental focus encompasses design, the choice of materials, manufacturing processes and the skills and professionalism of our people – as testified by our IS0 14001 (2006) environmental management certification.As confirmation of this rigorous approach Arper uses a scientific method to measure the environmental impact of its products: the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). This evaluates their effects on the environment at all stages: from raw material extraction, to manufacture, to use and disposal. Arper studies and elaborates the results of this in-depth analysis with the aim of constantly improving existing products and designing new ones with environmental sustainability in mind.The LCA method also underpins the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) eco-label. This provides publicly available information on the environmental impact of the Catifa 46, Catifa 53 and Babar seating ranges: a demonstration of transparency and very real commitment. Arper’s environmental strategy also includes the Greenguard certification, which certifies that all Arper seating complies with US legislation on emissions in closed spaces. Another testimonial is the Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) certification, internationally recognised in accordance with ISO 14024 (Type I Eco-label). This has been awarded to the Leaf, Duna, Palm, Catifa 46 and Catifa 53 collections, which satisfy a series of ecological criteria established at Community level.

Seit vielen Jahren macht Arper in allen Bereichen der Produktion den Umweltschutz zum zentralen Anliegen: in der Entwurfsphase, bei der Auswahl der Materialien, im Produktionsprozess selbst und schließlich in der Professionalität derMitarbeiter – belegt durch die Zertifizierung mit der internationalen Umweltmanagementnorm ISO 14001 (2006).Um dem strengen Ansatz gerecht zu werden, lässt Arper mit wissenschaftlichen Methoden die Umweltwirkung seiner Produkte analysieren: das Life Cycle Assessment untersucht die Ökobilanz von der Gewinnung der Rohstoffe über den Herstellungsprozess bis hin zu Gebrauch und Entsorgung. realizzata in polietilene, adatta anche all’utilizzo in esterni, come il cuscino in poliuretano opzionale. La versione imbottita è disponibile in: pelle, ecopelle, tessuto in diversi colori o tessuto cliente. Per le basi è invece possibile scegliere tra quattro gambe, a slitta, cantilever, fusto a trespolo in alluminio oppure a cinque razze con o senza ruote e meccanismo di ritorno o meccanismo a gas.

I modelli con scocca in polietilene a vista e base in acciaio verniciato o in alluminio hanno ottenuto la certificazione ambientale GECA (Good Enviromental Choice Australia).

Duna’s polyethylene shell is suitable for outdoor use, as is the optional polyurethane cushion. The upholstered version comes in leather, faux leather, fabric in various colours or the customer’s own fabric. Options available for the base are 4-leg, sled, cantilever, trestle in aluminium or the 5-star version, with or without castors, fitted with a repositioning or gas adjustment mechanism.

The models with non-upholstered polyethylene shell and base in painted steel or aluminium have obtained Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) certification.

Il sistema Leaf comprende i modelli: sedia, sedia impilabile, chaise longue e poltroncina da attesa, tutte con struttura in acciaio verniciato, nei colori bianco, moka e verde, oppure con finitura cromata per le sedie. The Leaf system includes chairs, stackable chairs, a chaise longue and a waiting chair. All models have a painted steel structure and are available in white, mocha or green, or with a chromed finish for the chairs. Leaf also comes with two types of cushion: in polyurethane for outdoor use and soft leather for indoors.

Catifa 46 unisce dimensioni compatte a vaste possibilità di personalizzazione. La scocca è proposta in legno, oppure in polipropilene monocromatico o bicolore. Il rivestimento può essere in pelle, ecopelle, tessuto, cuoio, cuoietto o tessuto cliente. Diverse scelte anche per le basi, disponibili in acciaio o alluminio in moltissime configurazioni: quattro gambe, a slitta, con trespolo girevole regolabile in altezza da ufficio oppure sgabello.

Arper ha ottenuto la Certificazione EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) per i modelli con scocca in polipropilene monocolore e bicolore, nella versione con fusto a trespolo o quattro gambe in acciaio cromato e la certificazione ambientale GECA (Good Enviromental Choice Australia) per i modelli con scocca in polipropilene e base in acciaio verniciato o in alluminio.

Catifa 46 marries compact dimensions with a wide range of customisation options. The shell comes in wood or in one- or two-colour polypropylene. It can be upholstered in leather, faux-leather, fabric, hide or cuoietto or the customer’s own fabric. The base comes in steel or aluminium, with various options: 4-leg, sled, height-adjustable trestle with swivel for office use, or stool.

Arper has been awarded Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification for the one- and two-colour polypropylene models in the versions with trestle or 4-leg base in chromed steel. For the models with polypropylene shell and base in painted steel or aluminium, we have obtained Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) certification.

Catifa 46 vereint kompakte Dimensionen mit zahlreichen individuellen Variationsmöglichkeiten. Die Sitzschale gibt es aus doppelt gebogenem Mehrschichtholz sowie in ein- oder zweifarbigem Polypropylen oder mit Bezug aus Weichleder, Kunstleder, Stoff, Kernleder, Leder zweiter Qualität oder Kundenstoff. Für die Arper-Modelle mit Polypropylenschale ein- oder zweifarbig in der Ausführung Spinnenfuß und Vierfuß Stahl verchromt wurde eine Umwelt-Produktdeklaration (EPD) vergeben, während die Modelle mit Polypropylenschale und Stahlgestell lackiert oder Aluminium mit dem GECA-Label (Good Environmental Choice Australia) zertifiziert wurden.

Catifa 53 is the spark from which an entire seating system has been created. La collezione Norma utilizza una struttura in acciaio con imbottitura in poliuretano, declinate nei modelli: sedia -in tre altezze di schienale- sgabello e poltrona lounge. Nelle versioni con rivestimento in cuoio e cuoietto Norma è disponibile anche con il profilo impreziosito da cerniera rovescia. Vasta la gamma di colori per le nuove finiture in tessuto, pelle o tessuto cliente. Particolarmente indicata per il contract è la speciale versione impilabile, imbottita e con schienale di altezza media.

The Norma collection has a steel structure with polyurethane padding. The range is available in chair – with three back-heights –, stool and lounge armchair models. The leather or grade 2 hard-leather covered versions are also available with a decorative zip outline. A wide range of colours is available for the new finishes in fabric, leather or customers’ own fabric.Particularly suitable for contract settings is the special stackable version, which comes padded and with medium-height back.

Babar stools are made with an ergonomic polyurethane seat in a range of colours and two-colour combinations. The upholstered version, with the seat covered in fabric, leather, faux leather, or the customer’s own fabric, comes with a backrest. The base, in stainless steel with brushed or chromed finish, comes in fixed, floor-anchored and customisable-height (65 to 77 cm) or height-adjustable versions.

The models with non-upholstered polyurethane seat without backrest have obtained Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification.

The Aston programme includes three different back-heights with shell in polyurethane and cover in leather or fabric, in a wide range of colours. All models come with either a 4-star base with seat-repositioning mechanism or a 5-star base with casters and gas height-adjustment mechanism. The Direction and Office models, with high or medium back, are also available with the synchro mechanism. Lastly, the Conference model is also available with a 4-leg or cantilever steel base.

The shell of the Masai chairs, made from rotation-moulded polyethylene, is covered in different types and colours of leather, faux leather or fabric. The choice of bases only adds to the versatility of this collection. They include: 4-leg with or without covering, pedestal in shiny or painted aluminium with or without castors, 5-star in shiny aluminium with repositioning mechanism and height adjustability.

Realizzata in morbido poliuretano, la scocca di Catifa 60 è rivestita in pelle, tessuto in numerose varianti di colore o tessuto cliente. Inoltre può essere dotata di braccioli, anche rivestiti. La base in alluminio lucido, a quattro o cinque razze su ruote autofrenanti, può essere completata con diversi meccanismi progettati per aumentare comfort e funzionalità: girevole, con riposizionamento automatico, a gas o a gas con oscillante.

Made of soft polyurethane, Catifa 60’s shell is upholstered in leather, fabric in a wide colour-range, or the customer’s own fabric. It can also be fitted with armrests, covered if required. The base comes in polished aluminium, in a 4- or 5-star version with self-braking castors. Various mechanisms are available for enhanced comfort and functionality: swivel, automatic, gas or gas with tilt repositioning mechanism.

The Pengelly studio’s clean and stylish design aesthetic has produced Nuur, a system of 4-legged tables that further strengthen Arper’s presence in this segment. Completely white for minimalist settings, with a wood veneer top, or in red for a more striking style: Nuur can be customised by combining different finishes for the top and a range of colours for the aluminium structure.

Schlichtes Design und raffinierte Ästhetik sind die Merkmale der Tisch-Kollektion Nuur des Studio Pengelly, mit der Arper sein Engagement in diesem Segment fortführt. Il piano, di colore bianco, può essere scelto in molteplici forme e dimensioni: ovale grande, rotondo, quadrato oppure ovale piccolo. La base, dal caratteristico profilo conico, è in acciaio cromato o verniciato bianco. Il tavolino ovale di dimensioni cm 51x47, viene inoltre proposto con piano bianco e base verniciata in diverse tonalità.

Tops in white Mdf come in a range of shapes and sizes: oval, round or square. The base comes in a chromed or white-painted steel finishing and has a distinctive conical shape. The small 51x47cm table comes with a white top and a choice of colours for the painted base.

Catifa 70

La scocca imbottita di Catifa 70, è rivestita in pelle, tessuto o tessuto cliente, con base girevole in alluminio lucido, a slitta o con base rettangolare in diversi colori. Nella versione con fusto centrale può essere dotata di meccanismo oscillante e braccioli rivestiti. È inoltre disponibile il poggiapiedi coordinato.

Catifa 70’s padded shell is covered in leather, fabric or customer’s own fabric. It comes with a choice of bases: swivel in shiny aluminium, sled, or rectangular in a range of colours. The central pedestal version can be fitted with a tilt mechanism and covered armrests. A matching footstool is also available.

Die gepolsterte Sitzschale von Catifa 70 ist mit Bezügen aus Weichleder, Stoff oder Kundenstoff in verschiedenen Farben erhältlich und wird mit Drehgestell in Aluminium glänzend, mit Kufengestell oder mit rechteckiger Grundplatte ausgeliefert. Das Modell mit Zentralfuß gibt es wahlweise mit Schwingmechanismus und gepolsterten Armlehnen. Ebenfalls lieferbar: ein dazu passender Hocker.

La collezione è dotata di scocca imbottita in poliuretano e rivestimento a scelta in pelle, ecopelle, tessuto o tessuto cliente. A seconda della destinazione d’uso e delle esigenze, Catifa 60 lounge offre un basamento in alluminio con fusto a quattro razze e differenti tipologie di meccanismi di regolazione, oppure una versione a slitta in acciaio per il modello con schienale basso.

The Catifa 60 lounge collection comes with polyurethane-padded shell upholstered in leather, faux leather, fabric or the customer’s own fabric. Depending on use and the customer’s requirements, Catifa 60 lounge is available with a 4-star aluminium base and various adjustment mechanisms. A sled version in steel is also available for the low-backed model.
