BORSA VINI DEL SUD ITALIA, Belgrado 20-22 febbraio 2017

L'evento dell'incoming delle delegazioni estere alla Degustazione tecnica guidata dei vini delle quattro regioni della convergenza del sud Italia - Puglia, Calabria, Campania e Sicilia- che ha avuto luogo il 15 novembre a Belgrado, continuera' con il secondo evento, la BORSA VINI DEL SUD ITALIA, che si svolgera' il21 febbraio 2017 presso l'Hotel Hyatt di Belgrado. Progetti, investimenti, finanziamenti : NUOVO INVESTIMENTO A LUDBREG DELL'AZIENDA DUCATI D EL VALORE DI 40 MILIONI DI KUNE

A Ludbreg e' stato costruito un nuovo impianto per la produzione di energia verde da parte dell'aziendaDUCATI Komponenti d.o.o., facente parte dell'azienda italiana Ducati Energia spa di Bologna. Il valore

dell'investimento ammonta a 40 milioni di kune (5,3 milioni di euro); a Ludbreg l'azienda e' operativa dal2011, tratta la produzione di generatori, motori, parti di motori fuoribordo e altri macchinari. Sul territorio diLudbreg sono impiegati 3500 dipendenti, il 25% in piu' rispetto al 2013.

COSTRUZIONE DEL PONTE DI PELJESAC

La Hrvatske ceste (Societa' strade croate; http://www.hrvatske-ceste.hr/default.aspx?id=115 ) pubblichera', presto i nomi delle società che entrano nel secondo turno della gara per la costruzione del ponte di Peljesac.Un totale di 12 consorzi e società individuali che sono interessati a partecipare a questo progetto hanno risposto al concorso. Tra i candidati vi sono importanti societa' di costruzione da Italia, Spagna, Cina, Corea del Sud e Francia. Una delle condizioni era il possesso di esperienze precedenti nella costruzione di ponti simili a quello di Peljesac. Il finanziamento proviene dal fondo UE per la costruzione dell'infrastruttura stradale del valore di 330 milioni di euro stanziati fino al 2020.

LA TELECOM CROATA INVESTE IN MONTENEGRO

L'azienda Telecom croata (HT) http://www.ht.hr/en/ ha realizzata la sua prima acquisizione nella regione,rilevando dalla Magyar Telecom il 76,53% delle azioni della Telecom montenegrina. Una transazionefinanziaria di 123,5 milioni di euro che ha rinvigorito gli scambi alla Borsa di Zagabria. L'acquisto delpacchetto di maggioranza della Telecom montenegrina e' stato eseguito utilizzando mezzi propri dell'HT. LaTelecom montenegrina e' il principale operatore nel paese e nei primi 9 mesi del 2016 ha realizzato unprofitto pari a 69,4 milioni di euro. Il numero di utenti di telefonia fissa a fine settembre 2016 aveva superato i140 mila (93,6% del mercato), 73 mila utenti Internet a banda larga mentre ad altri 53 mila il servizio vieneassicurato tramite rete ottica; gli utenti di telefonia mobile sono quasi 370 mila (il 32% del mercato).

In Croatia, state-owned enterprises (SOEs) play an important role in the domestic economy. According to European Commission estimates employment in state-owned enterprises represents 12 per cent of overall employment, while they represent 18 per cent of the total turnover and 30 percent of total assets in Croatia. The state is heavily present in public utilities and transportation, where the share of employees working for the SOEs in 2012-2013 reached 79 per cent and 45 per cent respectively. Other sectors with significant state presence include information and communication (14 per cent), construction (8 per cent) and manufacturing (6 per cent). In this context, the Croatian authorities, in particular the State Property management Administration (DUUDI), recently transformed into the Ministry for State Assets (the Ministry), have requested the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the EBRD or the Bank) to provide technical assistance to improve the governance of SOEs in line with the 2015and 2016 Council Recommendations to Croatia, including, inter alia, “advancing the divestment process of state assets and reinforcing the monitoring of state-owned enterprises performance and boards’ accountability, including by advancing the listing of shares of state-owned companies” (the Project). The state portfolio of SOEs was until recently administered by the State Property Manage-ment Administration (DUUDI), and upon its transformation into the Ministry, the Ministry which will assume all the responsibilities of DUUDI, including management, together with the line ministries, of companies of strategic and special interest. In particular, 43companies classified as being either of ‘special interest’ or of ‘strategic interest’ are in the domain of DUUDI/the Ministry. All other companies (in total470 of which 35 are in majority ownership of central government) remain in the domain of the Restructuring and Sale Center (CERP).Assignment Description: The Bank now intends to engage a consultant (the Consultant) to support the Ministry and CERP in improving the governance of SOEs through the development of a unified reporting and monitoring framework of SOEs (the Assignment).The expected outcome of the Assignment is the development and adoption of a set a guidelines and recommendations by the Croatian authorities and SOEs supporting the strengthening of public administration, corporate governance and business planning for SOEs in Croatia, and enhanced stakeholder capacity in applying new methodologies and practices.
