Introducing drchrono

Drchrono has been using Cirrus Insight since

2012 and has watched the product grow and

evolve over time.

We’re going to share their story, explain how

Cirrus Insight has increased theirproductivity,

and show how they have continued to benefit

from Cirrus’ additional features.

A few years ago in Silicon Valley, Daniel Kivatinos

and his other co-founders had a common

realization. Healthcare sucks. So they decided to

do something about it. Kivantinos wanted to help

healthcare move into the digital space and turn

away from physical files and isolated data banks.

With Kivantinos as COO, drchrono was born to

manage the electronic storage and retrieval of

health records. Physicians could now manage

their entire business from a single mobile app.

Today, over 90 thousand physicians and over 6

million patients use drchrono to handle their

healthcare data.

Discovering Cirrus Insight

Soon after drchrono started using Salesforce,

they searched for a Gmail plugin to unite

their email and Salesforce. The drchrono

team used Salesforce all day, but they

wanted a better way to interface with the

platform, so they went “scrounging” for a

Gmail connector. This was back in 2012, and

Cirrus Insight was “not only the best thing

out there, but the only thing out there.”

All the work is done in Gmail, but all the

information is in Salesforce, so Cirrus Insight

was a great fit. “Because we were reliant on

Gmail and Salesforce, Cirrus Insight was the

bridge between the two platforms,” Kivantinos

said. “When you’re in Gmail, it’s hard to move

between the two products.”

Cirrus Insight was exactly what they were

looking for, so they clicked install.

drchrono’s Giant Productivity Boost

The team at drchrono lives in Gmail,

but constantly needs access to the data

in Salesforce. With Cirrus, they are able

to dramatically increase the e�ciency

of their workflow.

Information can now be displayed and

logged at a faster rate, so their business

runs faster. “Seven clicks were taken

down to one,” Kivantinos said.

Since drchrono consists of heavy Salesforce users, each person using Cirrus Insight

saves close to four hours each week by eliminating the need to switch between

Salesforce and Gmail.

Drchrono users save on average 4 hours of time each week by using Cirrus Insight.

Based on the median sales rep’s salary, the company is saving $114 per user per

week by gaining an extra 4 hours of work time.

Drchrono has 20 users on Cirrus Insight, so that’s $2,280 saved each week! These

savings are found in the reps being able to accomplish a greater amount of work in

the same amount of time, increasing the company’s bottom line.

Overall, the ROI for drchrono is 2,300%!

feature he switched. “Book, click,

insert times, and I’m done.”

Growth of Benefits for drchrono

One time, a sales rep came to ask him about using Boomerang, not realizing that

Cirrus Insight already had the same ability to schedule outbound emails. According

to him, “the price of Boomerang and Calendar.ly covers the price of Cirrus.”

By sticking with Cirrus, drchrono was able to enjoy new features that replaced other

products, increasing the value and ROI of Cirrus over time.

As Cirrus Insight continues to add new features, drchrono can expect to find the

app increasingly more valuable to their business.

Drchrono’s team tests a large number of products, but only 10% of them stick.

People simply don’t use them, so they’re the apps go to the wayside and disappear.

Not only has their sales team continued to use Cirrus, but they’ve also benefited

from the new features that have been added since they initially installed.

Cirrus Insight has been able to replace other products they were interested in using

over time.
