Il marchio Ambrosio nasce nel 1932. Una storia lunga più di ottant’anni, scritta da persone con competenza e passione.Negli anni ‘60 il marchio Ambrosio entra nel mondo delle corse professionistiche ottenendo grandi vittorie grazie a campioni di calibro internazionale come Moser, Saronni, Hinault, Lemond, Argentin e poi ancora Bugno, Amstrong, Freire, Rebellin, Bettini.. campioni che hanno fatto sognare intere generazioni.Ambrosio, per anni leader indiscusso in Italia e in Europa nella produzione di cerchi e manubri per bicicletta, può vantare importanti traguardi anche nella tecnologia e ricerca; è stata proprio la nostra azienda, infatti, a produrre la prima ruota lenticolare usata da Francesco Moser per vincere il primo record mondiale dell'ora a Città del Messico nel 1984 ed è stata una tra le prime aziende in Europa a produrre cerchi per la MTB. Nel 2011 Ambrosio presenta "Filorosso System", un trattamento che permette agli appassionati di avere una bici equipaggiata al massimo della tecnologia, e nello stesso anno l'azienda apre le porte a ruote da 29" e 27,5" nel mtb.Da sempre attenta al mondo del ciclismo, strada, MTB e Triathlon, nel 2013 Ambrosio concentra la sua attenzione all'Handbike.. sempre ispirata da fatti e prodotti che hanno contribuito al modo in cui il mondo del ciclismo è cambiato.Questa è Ambrosio, un modo di essere italiani da più di 80 anni.

The Ambrosio brand was founded in 1932. More than eighty years of history written with passion and expertise. In the 1960’s Ambrosio entered the world of professional racing achieving great results thanks to international champions such as Moser, Saronni, Hinault, Lemond, Argentin and again with Bugno, Amstrong, Freire, Rebellin, Bettini.. champions who have made the dreams of entire generations.Ambrosio, for years undisputed leader in Italy and Europe in the production of wheels and handlebars for bicycles, is proud of its important results achieved thanks the constant activity in technology and research; it was just our company that produced the first lenticular wheel used by Francesco Moser to win the first world time record in Mexico City in 1984 and was one of the first companies in Europe to produce MTB wheels.In 2011 Ambrosio presented "Filorosso System", a treatment that allows to have a bike equipped at the top of technology, and in the same year the company improved its mtb collections with 29” and 27,5" wheels.Ambrosio continues to remain attentive to the cycling world, from road, MTB to Triathlon. Inspired by events and products that contribute to the way in which the cycling world changes and evolves, in 2013 Ambrosio also focused their attention to the Handbike sector.This is Ambrosio, the Italian way for more than 80 years .

The rims marked with this symbol have grounded braking sides to ensure a perfect and modular braking. This working process allows a tolerance on the parallelism lower than 0,02mm.

Indicatore di usura. I cerchi con questo simbolo hanno pista frenante dotata di traccia scavata (in forma di linea o punto) per il riconoscimento visivo dello stato di usura del cerchio.

Wear indicator. The rims marked with this symbol have a dug-out track in the braking sides (in form of line or point) for the visual detection wear of the rim.

BALANCERIl “balancer” è uno speciale componente (brevettato) che consente di bilanciare il cerchio per una ruota perfettamente equilibrata; lo possiedono le ruote “Reine du Nord” ed alcuni cerchi top di gamma.

The “balancer” is a special and patented component that allows to balance the rim and have a perfectly equilibrated wheel; is available on the “Reine du Nord” wheels and on some top range rims.
