The Solo has established itself as a market leader. In just over 1 year this single strut wonder has taken the kiteboarding world by storm. This design thought to be fringe in the beginning has proven to be an established platform. The lightweight benefits of drift and efficiency through the wind window and pack ability give the Solo outstanding characteristics that span the all terrain free rider all the way to the growing hydro foiling segment.

For the Solo V2, we have added slight changes that enhance the handling and feeling at the bar. Increased profile in the wingtips provides better bar response and non-visual feel from the kite. The addition of a Tension Trailing Edge increased laminar flow, which results in decreased fluttering giving the kite a smoother feel at the bar.

In short! The Solo is the ultimate free riding kite.

NEW BRIDLE SYSTEM

New for 2016 is a fully redesigned Cascade Bridle System found on the Solo. Increased attachment points give extra LE frame support creating more stability in the kite shape in over powered situations. With the connections being closer to the center of the LE the kite gains a much more crisp feel in bar response and more of a pivotal turning radius. Another advantage of the Cascade Bridle System is the use of shorter bridle line connections that help reduce the change of bridle line wraps.

NEW TRIPLE RIPSTOP CANOPY

Our new triple rip-stop pattern along with the Challenge “Si560” additive is engineered exclusively for extreme durability and longevity in the harsh elements of kiteboarding. Both sides of the material are coated with this proprietary PU coating system and this is combined with a High Mass Fiber Weave technology construction that gives the fabric uniform low stretch characteristics. DK50 has been tested and proven to give improved abrasion resistance and tearing strength over traditional single and double rip-stop canopy.

Tension Trailing Edge

The Solo utilizes a Tension Trailing Edge pattern. This wavy material addition increases the tension between the canopy and the leading edge thus reducing the TE flutter during depowered situations creating stability and increased material lifespan.
