Come un grande mantello si aprono le due ampie ante che racchiudono l’interno e i suoi ripiani. Lancelot, grazie alla forma tonda e alle proporzioni contenute, è posizionabile in angolo o in centro stanza; un mobile per contenere libri, tazze da tè o caffè e bottiglie oppure per riporre asciugamani, spazzole e profumi.

Supported by a delicate frame, this silhouette doesn’t reveal immediately his cylindrical or oval, conic or right essence. As a great mantle open the two large doors that contain the inside and its shelves. Lancelot, thanks to the round shape and the right proportions, can be placed in the corner or in the middle of the room; a cabinet to store books, tea or coffee cups and bottles but also towels, brushes and perfumes.

Solo metallo. Un artefatto, realizzato attraverso la piegatura del metallo. Massima espressione della materia pura. Ottone, rame e acciaio, illuminano con effetti di luce e bagliori. Gambe in alluminio modellate al tornio. Tecnica antica e molto attuale. Il materiale è trattato nella sua purezza, sfruttando i naturali contrasti cromatici e materici. La contaminazione è necessaria, a volte diventa imprescindibile, ecco quindi il legno laccato lucido ed il cuoio naturale come accessorio per il ripiano.

Just metal. An artefact made using metalbending, this is the fullest expression of the material in its natural state. Copper, brass and stainless steel illuminated by sparkling light. The aluminium legs are lathe turned, an ancient yet highly contemporary technique. The material is treated in its purest state to bring out its natural chromatic contrasts. The elegant lacquered wood and natural leather pad tidy provides contrast, that touch of necessary - perhaps inevitable - contamination.

Serviva una forma semplice, rigorosa, quasi rigida e fredda, un po’ come il metallo. Forme precise che si intersecano tra loro dando vita a forme complesse, per poi vestirsi di decorazione. La memoria di un passato, un periodo di fasti e decori rigorosi, educati, formali, dove forme regolari e pure erano arricchite dal disegno. Il disegno che si fa decorazione, si fa materia, diventando intreccio. Un materiale nobile, in questo caso l’ottone, viene tagliato a punzone e spazzolato a mano. Tanti piccoli pezzi, che assemblati manualmente a mosaico, producono effetti chiaroscurali unici. Esterno in metallo, interno in legno laccato lucido colorato. Due piccoli cassetti girevoli, vestiti con una base in cuoio lavorato a mano.

Simple, rigorous shapes, hard and cold, a bit like metal itself. Precise shapes which intersect to create complex decorative forms, recalling a humbler time when decoration was more rigorous, polite, even formal. A time when simple shapes were enriched by design. Design as decoration, becoming a fusion of reality. Here noble materials like brass, copper or steel are punch cut and hand brushed. A myriad of tiny pieces is assembled by hand forming a mosaic of unique chiaroscuro effects. The metal shell is accompanied by coloured and polished lacquered wood on the inside, while two small drawers in hand-stitched leather complete the ensemble.

Una madia, un contenitore con ante, un vano a giorno e un cassetto. Una forma severa, leggermente smussata e alleggerita dai piedi che la sollevano da terra. Interno in legno laccato lucido. Un vano a giorno per mostrare e un cassetto per nascondere. Quell’unico cassetto che diventa un dettaglio che fa la differenza. E non poteva mancare il gioiello, le maniglie in fusione di ottone o in vetro di Murano, una forma semplice e facile da impugnare, realizzata interamente a mano, con una tecnica antica.

A day cabinet with doors, open shelving and a single drawer. The shape is rounded and severe, yet given a lightness by the slender feet which raise it off the ground. The inside is finished with either natural or lacquered wood. There is open shelving for display, a drawer for putting away. The elegant single drawer makes all the difference to the design. The jewel in the crown is the stylish brass-fusion or Murano glass handle entirely made by hand using an ancient technique. Its simple shape is comfortable and easy to use.

Celato, nascosto, segreto. Diverse personalità: un menhir, una cassaforte, un grattacielo; un oggetto che svela la sua funzione, touch by touch. Celato è un mobile a cassetti con molti spazi interni, quasi segreti, ai quali si accede grazie ad una lieve pressione della mano sulla superficie frontale. I cassetti sono di diverse altezze e disallineati, realizzati in legno di betulla. La corazza esterna, che fa da involucro alla struttura lignea interna, è disponibile in diverse finiture

Celato means concealed, hidden and secret. A name and an adjective which generate different personalities: a menhir, a safe, a skyscraper; an object which gradually reveals itself touch by touch. Celato is a piece of furniture with a lot of drawers, almost secret, that one can open by softly pushing on them. The drawers, made of birch, are of different heights and they are not aligned. The external cover serves as a wrapping for the internal wooden structure and it is available in various finishes.

Le superfici interne si arricchiscono di laccature lucide e colorate, impreziosite con morbidi pad in pelle, rifiniti con impunture fatte a mano “ton sur ton”. L’esterno viene vestito con le finiture più preziose della collezione De Castelli, rendendo il prodotto unico.

With “Details’’ collection, Nikita Bettoni proposes a luxury version of Celato chest of drawers, an icon of De Castelli production. The design is unaltered, but the collection presents new combinations of colors, both on the inside and on the outside. The enriched inner surfaces are characterized by shiny and colorful lacquering, embellished by soft leather pads presenting handmade “ton sur ton’’ stitching. Disponibile in due versioni, da centro stanza e da parete, può essere composta fino ad un massimo di 7 moduli.

“Why must the bookcases always be straight vertical long orthogonal to put always all the books in a straight and methodical way?”- Michele De Lucchi propose to the De Castelli a new way of imagining a bookcase, composed by so many spaces, all different and disorderly overlapped as requested by a creative mind. The combination of these different containers has created spaces, openings, that seem alleys among the old houses of beautiful Italian villages. Available in two versions, to be placed in the middle of a room or to the wall, it can be combined up to a maximum of 7 elements.

La collezione Sunrise&Sunset è proposta in due altezze, a rappresentare il sole che sorge grande nel cielo e che tramonta piccolo sull’orizzonte.

Two small tables, like big trays, enhance brass and copper chromatic features. A hand-made finishing where material shows its pureness, creating darker shades thanks to a monitored and gradual oxidation. The base, made with délabré iron, sustains the tray-like surface creating a strong chromatic contrast. The Sunrise&Sunset collection is provided in two different heights, representing the sun rising and setting on the horizon.

La memoria dei tavoli da lavoro utilizzati nei laboratori artigiani diventa ispirazione di un tavolo per la casa e l’ufficio.Mastro è realizzato con una lastra di ferro Délabré o lamiera nera piegata che racchiude i due cavalletti in legno d’abete, permettendone il fissaggio. L’incastro a vista del cavalletto nel top diventa così l’elemento caratterizzante di questo tavolo. La progettazione prevede di sfilare i cavalletti, ruotarli di 90° per farli scorrere all’interno dell’anima di metallo che li contiene orizzontalmente, riducendo al minimo l’ingombro dell’oggetto se non utilizzato, l’immagazzinamento, le dimensioni del packaging e la sostenibilità della logistica complessiva. La collezione Mastro si completa con le panche che seguono l’ispirazione progettuale del tavolo.

The memory of old worktables, used in craftsman workshops, becomes inspiration for a table for home and office. Mastro is made with délabré iron sheet or natural black iron, folded to hold the two firwood trestles, allowing the fastening. So the visible slot of the trestle becomes the main feature of this table. The design involves the taking off the trestles, spin them of 90 degrees to scroll them inside the metal soul that contains them horizontally, in order to minimize the objet footprint if not in use, the storage, the packaging dimensions and the sustainability of the global logistics. Mastro collection is completed with benches, which follow the same design inspiration.

Placas è una collezione di tavolini progettati per ambienti indoor. Il progetto si risolve nell’accostamento di tre spicchi di cerchio di uguale dimensione che completano la figura circolare, lasciando in vista, negli spazi vuoti creatisi, la struttura di sostegno e le gambe. La sofisticata semplicità del progetto, oltre a mettere in risalto il disegno grafico, lascia spazio all’espressività del materiale lavorato qui con la tecnica della piegatura. I tavolini Placas sono l’esito di un progetto contemporaneo che considera la facilità di montaggio, smontaggio e imballo, qualità intrinseche e imprescindibili.

Placas is a collection of coffee table designed for indoor. The project is a combination of three circle segments, having the same dimension, that complete the circular figure. The empty spaces revele the support structure and the legs. The sophisticated simplicity of the project, besides highlighting the pattern, gives space to the expressivity of the material, worked and folded. Placas tables are the result of a contemporary project that consider easy assembly, dismantle and packaging, intrinsic and inescapable qualities.

Sono i colori della terra, rossa e fertile, e le brillanti sfumature dei due mari che lambiscono le coste della terra del Salento la fonte di ispirazione per Terramare, un set di tavolini il cui vero protagonista è il materiale. Le sfumature del mare e della terra rivivono nei colori del rame Délabré , dell’ottone e dell’acciaio COR-TEN e coesistono grazie allo sviluppo di una nuova innovativa tecnologia che permette l’accoppiamento di vetro* e metallo. Questa consente ai metalli di non alterare la texture e di mantenere inalterate le peculiarità delle ossidazioni e consentire un uso quotidiano e disinvolto dei tavolini. E’ possibile una moderata variazione della tonalità delle finiture, con conseguente variazione cromatica non omogenea e non controllabile.

The colors of the earth, red and fertile, and the brilliant shades of the two seas that flow through the Salento shores are the source of inspiration for Terramare, a set of tables whose real protagonist is the material. The shades of sea and earth relive in the colors of oxidized copper, brass and COR-TEN steel and they coexist thanks to the development of an innovative technology which allows coupling glass* and metal. This allows the metal to not alter the texture and to maintain the peculiarities of oxidation, permitting daily use of the coffee tables. The finishes can experience dissimilar color alteration,which should not be considered faults.

Slender microarchitectures generate small “compositive band” that mark the space in an incisive way. Un trittico di piccoli tavoli con piani in metallo, sostenuti da un’esile struttura in tondino metallico e caratterizzati da grafismi incisi sulla lamiera. È una combinazione di forme e accostamenti cromatici: ferro, ottone e rame, dove i disegni incisi sono ispirati ai cerchi che nascono e si diramano nell’acqua, al flusso della corrente e all’increspatura delle onde. I particolari trattamenti del metallo, ne fanno un insieme organico di grande impatto grafico e cromatico. I traversi di collegamento della struttura, posizionati alla stessa altezza da terra, hanno una forgia che rimanda all’intreccio dei rami.

A triptych of small tables with metal structure supported by a thin metal rod and characterized by graphic elements engraved on the metal sheet. It’s a combination of shapes and a blending of colors: iron, brass and copper, where the engravings designs are inspired by the circles that are born and branch out into the water, between the flow of the current and the wavelets. The special treatment of metals make it a comprehensive set of high-impact graphics and colors. The transverse connection of the structure, placed at the same height from the ground, have a forge that refers to the interweaving of the branches.

Una riflessione sulle nuove tecnologie a luce led ha condotto a Luce Solida; il futuro dell’illuminazione è allo “stato solido”, ovvero a quel tipo di illuminazione che utilizza diodi emettitori di luce anziché gas o filamenti elettrici. Luce Solida è dunque una lampada che si “dematerializza”, perde la sua consistenza fisica per lasciar spazio alla “materializzazione” della luce, ricercando un nuovo confine linguistico.

A discussion on the new LED light technologies has led to Luce Solida; the future of lighting is the “solid state”, that type of light that uses light-emitting diodes rather than electrical filaments or gas. So Luce Solida is a lamp that “dematerializes” itself, and loses its physical consistency in change of a light “materialization”.

Frame è un specchio racchiuso in una cornice in metallo molto profonda che produce in chi si specchia una reazione introspettiva. Lo specchio infatti, molto rientrante rispetto al bordo della cornice, induce ad avvicinarsi alla superficie riflettente, attivando un fenomeno di osservazione più accurato e prolungato. Frame viene applicato e fissato a parete in posizione inclinata, quasi a voler comunicare la provvisorietà dell’immagine riflessa e rimandando al quadro che non ha ancora trovato una sistemazione definitiva all’interno della casa nuova.

Frame is a mirror contained in a very deep metal frame that originates an introspective reaction to whom is looking at it. The mirror, which is hollow compared to the frame’s edge, brings people closer to the reflecting surface, activating a more accurate and prolonged phenomenon of observation. Frame is applied and fixed to the wall with an inclined position, communicating the precarious state of the reflected image and referring to a painting that still haven’t found the right place.

Conique è una collezione di vasi outdoor e indoor dalla forma elegante e al contempo semplice. Il segno stilistico deciso è ulteriormente sottolineato dal forte contrasto dimensionale della collezione: il diametro dell’ampia base, infatti, rimane inalterato in tutte e tre le altezze in cui i vasi sono proposti, permettendo un coreografico gioco di abbinamenti e composizioni. I Conique sono complementi d’arredo adatti per ambienti sia privati che pubblici.

The Conique are outdoor and indoor pots with an elegant, and at the same time simple shape. The stylistic design is very clean and further underlined by the strong dimensional contrast of the collection: the ample diameter of the base, in fact, is unchanged in each of the three heights in which pots are proposed, allowing a choreographic game of combinations and compositions. They are furnishing elements suitable for public or private spaces.

Screen-Pot è la rivisitazione in chiave contemporanea della classica fioriera con grigliate per piante rampicanti. Grazie all’utilizzo dell’acciaio abbinato alla lavorazione laser, il disegno è articolato per un effetto grafico definito ispirato alle forme della natura. Ideale ad assolvere la funzione di divisorio, con Screen-Pot è possibile creare schermature vegetali e mobili.

Screen-Pot is a restyling of the classical flower pot with grates for climbers. Thanks to the use of steel and the laser cutting, the piece has a graphic effect, inspired to the nature’s forms. Ideal as a divider, Screen-Pot can create a natural separè that gives privacy and protects from the wind.

TERMS OF DELIVERYTerms of delivery shown in the order confirmation have a merely guideline value and they are in any case referred to the date of delivery to the forwarder. Deliveries will be suspended until all outstanding payments have been settled and all necessary information for the execution of the order have been received. Fines for the delayed delivery responibility are excluded.

DELIVERY OF GOODS Delivery is ex-works.

DELIVERIES AND TRANSPORTIn case of duty-paid deliveries, it is the recipient’s responsibility to check the weight of the goods, the number of pieces and the condition of the packaging before accepting the delivery, and to makes all due reservations to the carrier in writing on the consignment note. The carrier is responsible for any missing or damaged goods, for which no responsibility can be ascribed to the supplier in any way or for any reason whatsoever. It is also recommended that the recipient make reservations on the consignment note in case of suspected damage/breakage/missing goods, so as to make it possible to benefit

from transport insurance. Claims not indicated on CMR at the delivery will not be accepted.

CLAIMSShould the recipient fail to make reserves and sign the consignment note, De Castelli Srl cannot accept claims for damaged and/or missing pieces ascribable to transport, and any damages will be entirely at the client’s expense. Claims for alleged manufacturing faults or non-conformities with the order confirmation can only be accepted if notified in writing within 8 days of receipt of goods. Any returns and/or replacements must receive prior written authorisation from De Castelli Srl. These reports need to be supported with photos taken at the

opening of the damaged packages still showing the packaging materials. Goods claimed as damaged need to be available with their original packaging for the pick up. Unauthorised returns will be sent back to the client, and transport costs incurred will be charged to them.

AMENDMENTSDe Castelli Srl reserves the right to make any changes or amendments to its products without prior warning where considered necessary in order to improve technical properties or for commercial reasons.

COMPETENT COURT Any controversies shall be referred to the Courts of Treviso.

D6 COR-TEN / COR-TENIl COR-TEN è un tipo di acciaio caratterizzato da una elevata resistenza meccanica e resistenza alla corrosione. Se esposto agli agenti atmosferici, infatti, sulla superficie si forma una patina simil-ruggine, di colore marrone scuro, che impedisce l’estendersi della corrosione. Per uso esterno, De Castelli fornisce il materiale in uno stato avanzato di ossidazione. La stabilizzazione dell’ossidazione avviene nell’arco di 10-16 mesi e durante questo periodo potrebbe verificarsi il rilascio di particelle di ruggine che possono macchiare le superfici più chiare e permeabili. Per uso interno, il COR-TEN viene trattato con una cera stabilizzante per poter rendere la superficie più gradevole al tatto e per evitare il rilascio di impurità, tipico di questo materiale. Su richiesta è disponibile un kit cera per la manutenzione della superficie. Per la pulizia del COR-TEN suggeriamo di procedere con un semplice spolvero della superficie senza utilizzare nessun tipo di detergente o acqua.COR-TEN is a type of steel characterized by a high corrosion resistance and mechanical resistance. Exposed to the weather conditions, it forms a stable rust-like appearance coating of dark brown colour, which inhibits deeper penetration. For outdoor use, COR-TEN is supplied naturally oxidized, without further treatment. The oxidation will stabilize over a period of 10-16 months. Per la pulizia e il mantenimento utilizzare solo un panno di cotone inumidito con acqua o appositi prodotti neutri per superfici verniciate.
