ES4 At the beginning of wd electronics, the function WAS the device and viceversa. Examples: dimmers, thermostats, other stand alone electronics.In a second time, the functions have been spread in systems, each one optimized on the specific function (including communication, protocols etc.), but not able to integrate easily between themselves. Example: alarm systems, pure lighting MYHOME approach: each function/subsystem is designed, from the very beginning, in order to be integrated easily with the other home functions, actual or future ones. Legrand has a unique approach on that, for the moment. The mention to the batteryless radioswitch in this context is a bit stretched but reasonable (it was already somehow in this line). I did for informing that what they others claim of having (and they don't, in fact) we already had more than 5 years ago.The main meaning is that you can ever find some specialist proposing a new toy (an radioswitch, a iPhone interface, a voice recognizer etc), but it remains a toy without a whole installation system beyond.The OLED touch is mentioned like an example of this integration of systems, being able to command many and different functions.Ernesto Santini; 24/09/2009
