L’AziendaTorneria P.M.S è un’azienda nata nel 1962. Grazie all’intra-

prendenza del fondatore Luigi Michelazzo è riuscita ad affer-

marsi nel mercato internazionale. Nel corso degli anni i figli

Moreno e Corrado hanno trasformato l’attività da artigianale

a industriale, utilizzando come arma di successo gli investi-

menti tecnologici su impianti e macchinari e creando un team

di lavoro qualificato.

Grazie alla continua ricerca del Total quality e del Customer

satisfaction, la Torneria PMS, è leader nel settore delle lavora-

zioni meccaniche di precisione e vanta clienti di prestigio nei

settori automotive, automazioni, oleodinamico, pompe, ecc.

Il nostro riferimento è il mercato globale, nel quale la compe-

tizione è a tutto campo e oltre alle ovvie esigenze in termini

di qualità e produttività sono richiesti flessibilità e tempi di

risposta ridotti, con prezzi tendenzialmente decrescenti.

Per far fronte alle esigenze di saving dei clienti abbiamo aperto

The CompanyThe turning shop “Torneria P.M.S” was established in 1962. The success in the international market was reached thank the entrepreneurial capabi-lity of the founder Luigi Michelazzo. In the course of the years the sons Moreno and Corrado transformed the handicraft manufacturing process to an industrial operation, using technological investments on equipment as a weapon to achieve success and creating a team of highly qualified engineers. Thanks to the continuous pursuit of Total quality and Customer satisfaction, Torneria PMS, has become a leader in the field of mechanical precision working and can rely on prestigious customers in the fields of automotive, automation, oleo dynamic, pumps, etc.Our reference is the total market, in which competition is open and aggres-sive and where, apart from the obvious requirements in terms of quality and productivity, the demand for flexibility and reduced response time is increasing and were price challenge is becoming harder.In order to meet the customers’ saving requirements we have opened a production facility in the Slovakian Republic: P.M.S. Slovakia s.r.o.

FirmenprofilDie Dreherei “Torneria P.M.S” wurde 1962 gegründet. Der Erfolg im Welt-markt wurde dank der unternehmerischen Fähigkeit des Gründers Luigi Michelazzo schnell erreicht. Im Verlauf der Jahre wandelten die Söhne Mo-reno und Corrado das handwerkliche Herstellungsverfahren zu einem indu-striellen Prozess um. Die technologischen Investitionen in der Ausrüstung waren grundlegend bei dieser Umwandlung, um Erfolg zu erzielen und eine Mannschaft von hoch qualifizierten Mitarbeiter zu bilden. Torneria PMS hat, dank dem ununterbrochenen Anstreben nach Total quality und Customer satisfaction, inzwischen eine führende Stellung im Bereich der mechani-schen Präzisionsbearbeitung eingenommen. Der Kundenstamm setzt sich zusammen aus bekannten Automobilhersteller sowie Industriekunden aus den Bereichen Automatisierung, Öldynamik, Pumpen, usw. .Unser Aktionsfeld ist der Gesamtmarkt, wo die Konkurrenz hart und aggressiv ist und wo, über den üblichen Anforderungen an Qualität und Produktivität, Flexibilität und schnelle Antwortzeit unentbehrlich sind und den Preiskampf immer stärker wird. A reliable partner for the automotive field Technical innovation is the key word to define Torneria PMS: we form with

our customers a partnership in order to develop a Co-design process, ena-

bling the optimisation of quality, technical specifications and prices.

Our production facility complies with the requirements of medium lots

and mass production, which are required by the automotive customers.

The production departments are equipped with fully automatic lathes, NC

lathes with single and multiple chucks, NC lathes with mobile headstock

and dedicated working lines for specific products.

Unsere Produktionsanlage ist in der Lage sowohl Kleinserien herzustellen,

sowie die Anforderungen an Massenproduktion die von dem Automotive

Bereich angefordert werden, zu bewältigen.

Die Produktion Abteilungen sind mit vollautomatischen Drehbänken, NC

Drehbänke mit einzelnen und mehrfachen Spannfutter, NC Drehbänken mit

beweglichem Spindelstock und Bearbeitungslinien für Sonderteile ausgerü-

stet.

Nell’ottica della diversificazione e della soddisfazione del

cliente la Torneria PMS ha introdotto nuove macchine uten-

sili CN ad alta tecnologia, per la produzione di Viti Senza Fine

con filettatura orbitale e specifiche rullatrici CN adatte alla

rullatura di singoli componenti e barre fino alla lunghezza di

3 metri.

L’automazione e l’ottimizzazione delle linee produttive ci han-

no consentito di acquisire importanti commesse.

Grazie a sistemi di caricamento automatico a portale e a robot

antropomorfi riusciamo ad ottenere soluzioni tecnologiche

all’avanguardia e a realizzare flussi produttivi che sommano

le diverse lavorazioni quali tornitura, fresatura e produzione

di viti senza fine, col risultato di una elevata produttività di

alto livello tecnologico.

Tecnology and flexibility Aiming at the diversification of its production and the satisfaction of the

customers, Torneria PMS has introduced some new high technological NC

machine tools for the production of orbital thread Endless Screws and spe-

cial NC rolling machines suitable for rolling of single components and bars

up to 3 meters long.

The automation and the optimization of the production lines were impor-

tant assets to acquire important orders.

Thanks to gantry-type and anthropoid robotised automatic loading sy-

stems, we succeeded in enhancing advanced technological solutions and

develop productive flows which combine the different working processes

like turning, milling and worm gears production, with the result of increa-

sing productivity and technological level.

Technik und flexibilität Mit dem Ziel das Produktionsverfahren zu diversifizieren und die Kunden-

Zufriedenheit zu steigern, hat Torneria PMS einige neue, hoch entwickelte NC

Werkzeugmaschinen für die Produktion von Umlaufgetriebe, sowie spezielle

NC Walzmaschinen eingeführt, die für das Gewindewalzen von einzelnen

Bestandteile und von Stäbe bis zu 3 Metern lang einsetzbar sind.

Die Automatisierung und die Optimierung der Fertigungslinien waren aus-

schlaggebend, um wichtige Aufträge zu gewinnen.

Durch den Einsatz von robotisierten, automatischen Portal- und Anthro-

pomorphe Zuführungsvorrichtungen, gelang es uns die technologischen

Prozesse zu verbessern und Bearbeitungsflüsse zu entwickeln, die die unter-

schiedlichen Arbeitsprozesse wie Drehen, Fräsen und Schneckenproduktion

kombinieren, mit einer Erhöhung der Produktivität und des technischen

Niveau.

Controlli in-ProcessNella nostra filosofia aziendale riteniamo che un prodotto di qualità elevata deve essere realizzato da macchine High-Tech e verificato con strumenti di misura all’avanguardia. Per que-sto la nostra Sala Metrologica dispone dei più sofisticati appa-recchi di controllo che il mercato offra, dal tridimensionale ai misuratori di profili a contatto e a scansione ottica. Le aree produttive sono dotate di un sistema informatico cen-tralizzato che dispone di isole di controllo composte da termi-nali collegati a ciascuna macchina operatrice e agli strumenti di verifica (SPC). L’Azienda oltre essere sensibile agli aspetti qualitativi, quin-di certificata secondo la norma UNI ISO 9001:2000 con l’ente TÜV, è anche attenta agli aspetti ambientali e alla salute dei lavoratori. Per questo scopo stiamo implementando la norma UNI EN ISO 14001.

Process Control In our business philosophy we think that a high quality product can only be manufactured using High-Tech machinery and controlled with advan-ced measurement instruments. Our Metrology Room is therefore equip-ped with the most sophisticated and advanced control instruments that are available in the market, from three-dimensional meter to contact and optical scansion profile meters.The production areas are equipped with a centralized data processing system, including control islands with terminals linked to the different working machines and to the relevant control instruments (SPC). The Company is very sensitive to the qualitative aspects and is therefore certified according to the norm UNI ISO 9001:2000 by the TÜV approval agency. Environmental protection and health of the workers are other im-portant aspects of the company policy and we are therefore implementing the norm UNI EN ISO 14001.

Prozess KontrolleIn unserer Firmenphilosophie denken wir, dass ein hochwertiges Produkt nur mit Hightech Maschinen und geeignete Messinstrumenten hergestellt und kontrolliert werden kann. Unser Metrologie-Raum ist folglich mit den besten und modernsten Instrumenten ausgerüstet die im Markt erhältlich sind, wie dreidimensionalen Messgeräte, Kontakt- und optische Abtastung Profilmessgeräte. Alle Produktionsabteilungen werden durch ein zentralisiertes Datenverar-beitungssystem überwacht. Die peripherischen Einheiten in der Kontrollinsel sind mit den verschiedenen Bearbeitungsmaschinen und mit den entspre-chenden Kontrollinstrumenten (SPC) angeschlossen.Unsere Firma legt besonderen Wert auf Qualität und ist folglich entspre-chend der Norm UNI ISO 9001:2000 durch die TÜV Organisation zertifiziert. Umweltschutz und Gesundheit der Arbeiter sind andere wichtige Aspekte der Firmenpolitik und wir sind folglich dabei die Norm UNI en ISO 14001 ein-zuführen.

In Torneria PMS nulla è dettato dal caso, la materia prima qua-

li barre, fusioni e stampati vengono controllati in accettazione

e identificati con un codice e un lotto di M.P. La rintracciabilità

della materia prima è garantita perché il lotto di M.P. è asso-

ciato al lotto di produzione del componente correlato e le in-

formazioni sono visibili al cliente in quanto vengono riportate

nell’etichetta dell’imballo finale.

Lavaggio e ImballoL’imballo e il lavaggio rappresentano fasi determinanti del

ciclo produttivo e quindi vengono curate nei minimi detta-

gli per proteggere e rendere agevole la movimentazione dei

prodotti.

Rough materials store and Shippingdepartment In the Torneria PMS nothing is left up to chance. The raw materials, such as bars, castings and moulds are checked in the acceptance control room and identified with a code and a R.M. lot number. Traceability of the raw ma-terials is guaranteed, because the R.M. lot is associated to the production lot of the relevant component and the information is written in the label of the packing and available to the customer.

Packing is a very important phase of the production cycle for protection of the goods and easy handling. Utmost care is therefore dedicated to this service.

Rohstofflager und Versandabteilung Bei Torneria PMS wird nichts dem Zufall überlassen. Rohmaterialien, wie Stäbe, Gussteile und Pressteile werden bei der Annahmekontrolle genau überprüft und mit einem Code und einer R.M. Teilnummer gekennzeichnet. Das Ruckverfolgen der Rohmaterialien ist immer gewährleistet, weil den R.M.-Satz mit dem Herstellungssatz des entsprechenden Bestandteils ve-rknüpft wird. Die Daten sind auf der Verpackung des Teiles geschrieben und für den Kunden ersichtlich.

Verpackung ist eine sehr wichtige Phase des Produktionszyklus, um die Ware zu schützen und die Behandlung zu erleichtern. Der Verpackungsoperation wird stets beste Aufmerksamkeit gewidmet.
