Giuseppe Ponzio founded a company which specialised in aluminium treatments and opened the first chapter in our 70 years history. Since then, the following four generations have broken new ground in anodic oxidation in Italy, and today the company has become the market leader for planning, production and innovation of aluminium systems for architecture. Ponzio has always had a broad vision, looking to the future and constantly seeking new boundaries to overcome. We have invested heavily in research to produce cutting-edge technology and to diversify, this is why the quality and scope of Ponzio is not limited to private architectural projects, but has also been translated into demonstrations of human ingenuity, from the Pirelli skyscraper in Milan and the Olympic Stadium in Rome, to the Dome of the Omar Mosque in Jerusalem. Starox is the new finish for coloured, anodised aluminium and is available in bright or matt; while Velvet is the latest development in oxidised finishing.
