Wir haben für unsere neue Strahlerserie Occhio Più nochmal ganz von vorne angefangen: Beim Menschen. Würde nicht jeder gerne die neuesten Tech-no logien und die vielfältigen Möglichkeiten modularer Strahlersysteme nutzen wollen, ohne Kompromisse im Design? Ist der durchgängige Ge stal tungs-gedanke und die Idee des “Joy of use” nicht universell anwendbar, sowohl in privaten als auch in öffentlichen Lebensräumen? Unser An spruch war, die Philosophie und die Werte von Occhio auf ganz neue Einsatzbereiche zu übertragen und dem Anwender damit echten Mehrwert zu bieten – um ihn am Ende zu begeistern. Design meets technology. Axel Meise als Unternehmensgründer und Ideengeber denkt in ganzheitlichen Systemen und hat dabei immer den Anwender im Blick. Designpartner Christoph Kügler ist als Physiker technologisch am Puls der Zeit und sorgt für die perfekte Umsetzung bis ins letzte Detail. In developing our new Occhio Più spotlight series we went back and focused on the fundamental aspects: people. Is there anyone who would not want to have the many lighting options offered by a professional spotlight series, without making any compromises in terms of design? Isn't the idea behind “joy of use” really a universal concept which can be applied to both the personal and public spaces in which we live and work? Our aspiration was to extend the philosophy and values of Occhio to new lighting systems for applications having a functional orientation to give planners and users genuine added value – and we wanted to inspire them as well. Design meets technology. Axel Meise, the founder and creative spirit of Occhio, thinks in terms of holistic systems and always has the user in mind. His design partner Christoph Kügler, a physicist at the vanguard of innovative technology, transforms their inspirations into lighting sys-tems of perfection in every detail. Both have contributed their own dis-tinct expertise to the creation of Occhio – and once again they have invented something that is entirely new and inimitable: the Occhio Più multifunctional spotlight system.

Occhio Più spotlights are manufactured from selected materials such as aluminum, brass and steel, all with a highly refined surface finish. The optical components include premium optical lenses and specially treated glass elements. The use of these materials has one goal: To create a truly unique quality experience. Bright or matt chrome surfaces, as well as high - gloss black or white lacquered lamp switches if desired, contribute to the very exclusive look of the spotlight series. The modular design of Occhio Più offers a large number of options for creating individual configurations. This means that Più can be perfectly harmonized to correspond with the prevailing colors, surfaces and interior design of any architecture and space.

Occhio Più Ein- und Aufbaustrahler bieten mit ihren kombinierbaren und durch einen einfachen Mechanismus jederzeit wechselbaren Licht kom po-nenten höchste Lichtqualität bei größtmöglicher Flexibilität. Bei der Version B sorgt ein satiniertes Streuglas für gleichmäßige Lichtverteilung. Die charak-teristische optische Linse der Version C ist absolut blendfrei und setzt klar konturierte Akzente. Bei der LED-Version kann mit einer weiteren, innenlie-genden Linse das Licht auf 40 ° gebündelt werden ( S 40 LED ), mittels einer zusätzlichen Fresnel Linse sogar auf 25 ° ( S 20 LED ).Spotreflektoren sind für die NV-Halogen- und CDM-Lichtquellen in den Winkeln 10 °, 20 ° oder 40 ° erhältlich. Optional können bei allen Versionen ( außer S 20 LED ) wechselbare dichroitische Farbfilter eingesetzt werden. Für die C-Version kann ein soft edge Einsatz für weichere Kon turen oder ein satiniertes Glas für eine sanfte Aufweitung des Lichtkegels eingesetzt werden ( nicht in Verbindung mit Farbfilter ).

Occhio Più recessed and surface-mounted spotlights feature components that can be combined and interchanged to offer maximum light quality along with the greatest possible flexibility. In version B a satinised diffusing glass ensures consistent light distribution. The characteristic optical lens ( version C ) is completely glare-free and sets clearly contoured accents. In the LED version an additional internal lens can be used to concentrate the light to 40 ° ( S 40 LED ), or even 25 ° ( S 20 LED ) with an additional fresnel lens.Spot reflectors are available for the halogen and CDM light sources in angles of 10 °, 20 ° or 40 °. All versions ( except S 20 LED ) can be optionally fitted with interchangeable dichroic color filters. In the C version a soft edge insert can be used for softer transitions, or a satinised glass may be preferred to expand the light beam ( but cannot be used in combination with color filters ).

Die bei Occhio Più eingesetzten, wechselbaren Hochleistungs - LEDs mit 13 oder 18 Watt Leistungsaufnahme bestechen mit hoher Lichtleistung bei geringem Verbrauch und minimaler Wärmeentwicklung. Die für Occhio typischen Linsenoptiken sorgen dabei für einen außergewöhnlich hohen Leuchtenwirkungsgrad. Die hohe Wirt-schaftlichkeit wird unterstützt von der extremen Lebensdauer der LED von mehr als 20.000 Stunden.

The replaceable high - performance LED with 13 or 18 W power used in Occhio Più are distinguished by their high levels of light output with low energy consumption and minimum heat generation. The optical lenses for which Occhio is known contribute to the extraordinary optical light output ratio. The high efficiency is further enhanced by the extreme LED longevity of a minimum of 20.000 hours.

Wechselbarkeitupgradeability

LED -Technologie ist für ihre außergewöhnliche Langlebigkeit bekannt. Doch deren Evolution findet im Zeit- raffer statt. Bei Occhio Più wurde erstmals eine funktionelle und zugleich nachhaltige Lösung realisiert: Die LED - Chips können dank eines zum Patent angemeldeten Systems wie bei einer SIM - Karte jederzeit ausgetauscht und damit auch in Zukunft immer auf den neuesten Stand gebracht werden.

LED technology is known for its extraordinarily long life. Yet at the same time it is evolving at a breathtaking pace. In Occhio Più we have achieved a first with a solution that is extremely functional and sustainable at the same time: thanks to patent pending system, the LED chip can be exchanged at any time in the future, much like a SIM card, so that the LED can be upgraded to the very latest specification.

Mit der Wahl der Lichtfarbe bieten Occhio Più Strahler in LED Technologie eine neue, innovative Mö glichkeit in der Lichtgestaltung. Die high color Versionen (CRI 95) sind mit warmen, halogenähnlichen 2700 oder 3000 Kelvin prädestiniert für den Wohn und repräsentativen Objektbereich. Kühlere Versionen in 3500 und 4000 Kelvin sind beispielsweise für den Einsatz in Museen, Büros und Shops sowie für Tages licht, Kunstlicht und Mischsituationen ideal.

In terms of color temperature the Occhio Più spotlights with LED technology open up entirely new and innovative options for lighting design. The high color versions (CRI 95) are available in warm tones ( 2700 Kelvin, similar to a light bulb) or in the halogen range of 3000 Kelvin and are thus predestined for use in residential and prestigious building applications. The cooler 3500 K and 4000 K versions are suitable for use in offices, museums and shops, as well as all daylight / artificial light mixed scenarios.

Die wahrgenommene Lichtqualität wird bestimmt durch die Qualität der Wiedergabe des sichtbaren Lichtspektrums. Die Maßeinheit ist der sogenannte “Color Rendering Index”, das natürliche Sonnenlicht mit CRI 100 die Referenz. Die bei Occhio wahlweise einsetzbaren highcolor LEDLichtquellen kommen diesem Optimum mit CRI 95 sehr nahe und sorgen so für bei LED bisher nicht gekannte Lichtqualität.

The perceived quality of light is determined by the quality in which the visible light spectrum is rendered. Natural sunlight serves as the reference value for the scale of measurement known as the so - called Color Rendering Index ( CRI ). The Occhio high color LED chips have a CRI of 95, which comes very close to the optimum value of natural light ( CRI 100 ), and they deliver a light quality that has never before been achieved with LED technology.

Die wechselbaren Hochleistungs LEDs von Occhio Più verbinden höchste Lichtqualität und Lichtleistung mit bester Effizienz und Lebensdauer. Die Più 18 W LED mit einem Farb wiedergabeindex ( CRI ) von 85 ist in den Farbtemperaturen 2700 und 3000 Kelvin ( K ), auf Anfrage auch in 4000 K erhältlich. The exchangeable high-performance Occhio Più LEDs offer extraordinarily high light quality and output with maximum efficiency and long product life. The remarkable progress made in terms of ef f iciency is clearly evident from a comparison of the light sources and technologies avail able for Occhio Più: from mains voltage halogen (HV-Eco), low voltage halogen (NV-Eco) to high-per formance LED versions such as high color (HC) and high f lux (HF) as well as CDM metal halide.The current Eco halogen l ight sources are 30 % (HV) to 55 % (NV) more ef f icient than the reference l ight bulb used in the benchmarking process. The high-per formance Occhio Più LEDs are near ly as ef f i-cient as CDM and f luorescent l ight sources and deliver the best pos-sible l ight quality.

Neben der Effizienz der Lichtquellen zählt die Effizienz der Leuchte selbst. Occhio Più Strahler besitzen dank ihres durchdachten Aufbaus und ihrer hochwertigen optischen Komponenten einen hohen Systemwirkungsgrad bei minimaler Baugröße.Insbesondere die charakteristische Linse von Occhio Più (Version C) besticht durch hohe Lichtausbeute von bis zu 69 %. Die Doppellinse der LED-Spotversion (S 40) erreicht sogar 79 %.

Am Ende zählt, was rauskommt. Im Vergleich der angebotenen Strahler versionen fällt auf, wie nahe die verschiedenen Licht-quellen bei deutlich unterschiedlicher Leistungsaufnahme in der Lichtleistung zusammenliegen. Insbesondere die LED-Versionen mit ihren hohen optischen Wirkunsgrad beweisen hier, was heute bei minimalem Energieeinsatz möglich ist.

Thanks to its ingenious concept and premium optical components, the Occhio Più spotl ight system of fers extraordinary ef f iciency with a compact design.The character istic lens of Occhio Più (version C) par ticular ly stands out by deliver ing luminous ef f iciency of up to 69 %. The dual lens ver-sion of the LED spotl ight (S 40) even achieves 79 %.

In the end, it is the final light output that ultimately counts. The various light sources in our spotlight series are quite remarkable in that they all deliver extremely high light output at various levels of low energy con-sumption. The LED versions in par ticular are distinguished by their high optical ef f iciency, demonstrating what results are possible today with only a minimum of energy input.

Ein Kostenvergleich der verschiedenen bei Occhio Più zur Wahl stehenden Lichtquellen ist stark abhängig von den jeweiligen Rah menbedingungen und zukünf tigen Entwicklungen: Welche Licht menge und damit wie viel Leuchten werden benötigt, wie lange werden die Leuchten betrieben (unter Volllast oder im Dimm-betrieb), wie hoch sind die Energiekosten. Was kostet der Ersatz von Leuchtmitteln, entstehen zusätzliche Kosten für den Ab trans-port der Wärmelast durch Klimatisierung?

Wir haben nebenstehend Modellrechnungen für einige typische Kons tellationen im Wohn-, Objekt- und Shopbereich erstellt, und auf Basis einer vergleichbaren Strahlerversion die Betriebskosten gegenübergestellt.

Im privaten Bereich liegen die Kosten der verschiedenen Versionen dabei nahe beieinander. Hier können bei der Wahl der Lichtquelle die Kostengesichtspunkte in den Hintergrund treten, die Auswahl kann so eher nach lichtgestalterischen und ökologischen Kriterien getroffen werden.

Im Objekt bereich mit der typischerweise höheren Betriebs dauer und den damit verbundenen höheren Ersatzkosten spielt die LED ihre Vorteile in Energieverbrauch und Lebensdauer nicht nur ge gen-über Niedervolt-Halogen, sondern auch gegenüber der CDM-Version aus.

Insbesondere im Shopbereich mit den extrem hohen Betriebs-zeiten und den meist anfallenden Klima ti sie rungs kosten ist die LED-Technologie auf der Kostenseite die Technologie der Wahl.

When comparing the cost of the Occhio Più versions offered, it is impor-tant to take the specif ic application, situation and future developments into consideration: How much light is desired and how many luminaires will be needed, how long will the lamps be in operation (under full output or dimmed), how high is the cost of energy, what is the cost of replacing light sources (doing it yourself or with the help of an electrician) and what is the cost of air conditioning systems to draw away dissipated heat?

Here are some model calculations showing the operating costs for typi-cal conf igurations in residential, commercial and public applications based on comparable spotl ight versions.

For residential instal lat ions the costs of the var ious versions are vir tu-ally the same. In this case the cost of the l ight source should not be the central factor for choosing a par ticular type, but rather the ecologi-cal and l ight design aspects.

In commercial and publ ic appl icat ions, where lamps are operated for longer time periods and more frequent light source replacements are typical, LEDs def initely of fer advantages in terms of energy consump-tion and lifetime, in comparison to both low voltage halogen and CDM.

LED is the technology of choice for installation in shops where operat-ing time is extremely high, not to mention the cost of air condit ioning – in terms of lower operating expenses the LED is unsurpassed.

Die Più 18 W LED ist als high flux Version mit einem Farb wie der ga be-index (CRI) von 85 in den Farbtemperaturen 2700 und 3000 Kelvin (K), auf Anfrage auch in 4000 K erhältlich.Die 13 W LED ist sogar in den vier Farbtemperaturen 2700, 3000, 3500 und 4000 K erhältlich, alle sind high color Versionen mit dem sehr hohen Farbwiedergabeindex 95. Zusätzlich ist eine hocheffiziente 13 W high flux Version mit einem CRI von 85 erhältlich.

Die wärmeren Versionen 2700 K und 3000 K sind ideal für Anwen-dung en im Wohn- und anspruchsvollen Objektbereich und lassen sich exzellent mit vorhandenen Halogenlichtquellen kombinieren. Die kühleren 3500 K und 4000 K Versionen sind prädestiniert für den Einsatz in Büros, Museen, zur Shop-Beleuchtung und in allen Tageslicht-, Kunstlicht- und Mischlichtsituationen.

Die Più Halogen ver sionen mit Farbtemperaturen 2800 K (HV) und 3000 K (NV) bieten brillantes Licht bei perfekter Farbwiedergabe (CRI 100 ) . Darüber hinaus entsteht beim Dimmen der besondere Effekt, dass sich ihre Lichtfarbe sanft zum wärmeren Spektrum hin verändert. Gleich zei tig verringert sich der Energieverbrauch, die Lebensdauer steigt. Das prädestiniert die Halogen licht quellen besonders für den an spruchs vollen Wohn- und Objektbereich, wo warme Licht at mos phäre und eine je nach Situation veränderbare Lichtstimmung im Vordergrund steht.

The Più 18 W LED with a color rendering index (CRI ) of 85 is available as high f lux version with the following color temperatures: 2700 and 3000 Kelvin (K), 4000 K are also available on demand. The 13 W LED even is available in four dif ferent color temperatures: 2700, 3000, 3500 and 4000 K, all deliver ing a very high color render-ing index of 95. Additionally, a highly ef f icient 13 W high f lux version with a CRI of 85 is available.

The warmer versions (2700 K and 3000 K) are ideal for upscale residen-tial applications and building projects, and they can be combined very well with existing halogen light sources. The cooler 3500 K and 4000 K versions are predestined for use in of f ices, museums and shops, as well as in al l scenar ios call ing for a mix of dayl ight and ar t i f icial l ight.

Più halogen versions with color temperatures of 2800 K (mains voltage) and 3000 K (low voltage) offer brilliant light with perfect color rendering (CRI 100). Furthermore, dimming creates a special effect as the color tem-perature gradually and seamlessly changes to a warmer range. At the same time energy consumption is reduced and the l i fetime of the l ight source is extended. Thus the halogen light sources are especially suited for exclusive applications where a warm atmosphere is desirable and, de pend ing on the situation, a var iety of l ight moods is of utmost impor tance.

Farbwiedergabecolor render ing

Der Farbwiedergabeindex ist ein Maß für die Qualität des Lichts, also für seine naturgetreue Farbwiedergabe und Farbsättigung. Halogen-Lichtquellen haben aufgrund ihrer „natürlichen“ Art der Lichterzeugung über eine Glühwendel den idealen, dem Sonnen-licht entsprechenden Farbwiedergabeindex 100. Die Occhio 13 W high color LEDs gewährleisten mit ihrem Farbwiedergabeindex 95 ein Höchstmaß an Farbtreue und Lichtkomfort bei gleichzeitig hohem Wirkungsgrad von 55 – 65 lm / W ( je nach Farbtemperatur).

In der Farbtemperatur 3000 K ist darüber hinaus eine high flux Ver-sion erhältlich, die neben einem hohen Farbwiedergabeindex von 85 eine 25 % höheren Lichtstrom besitzt (bei gleicher Leis tungs-aufnahme von 13 Watt). Die high flux LED kommt zum Einsatz, wo höchste Effizienz (75 lm / W) gefordert und ein Farb wieder ga be index von 85 ausreichend ist. Hier ist auch der Einsatz der 18 W LEDs möglich, die eine noch größere Lichtausbeute bei immer noch sehr hoher Effizienz (63 – 74 lm / W) bieten.

The color rendering index is a measure of the quality of l ight in terms of natural color reproduction and color saturation. Compared to fila-ment bulbs, halogen light sources are known for delivering ideal “natural” l ight in a quality corresponding to sunlight with a CRI of 100. Occhio 13 W high-color LEDs achieve a color render ing index of 95 to deliver extraordinary color f idelity and lighting comfor t along with ef f iciency ranging from 55 – 65 lm / W (depending on color temperature).

In the color temperature 3000 K a high f lux version is also available which has a high color rendering index of 85 and 25 % higher lumi - nous flux (with the same power consumption of 13 watts). This LED is designed for use when high-ef f iciency is required (75 lm / W) and a color rendering index of 85 is sufficient. In these cases, the 18 W LEDs can also be used. They offer an even higher luminous flux at still very high ef f iciency (63 – 74 lm / W).

Più LED-Strahler können mit jedem Standard LED-Treiber (13 W: max. 700 mA, min. 20 V; 18 W: max. 500 mA, min. 42 V) betrieben werden. Sie benötigen eine Konstantstromquelle in Gleichstrom. Mehrere LED Strahler an einem Treiber können daher in Serie ge -schaltet werden, sofern die nötige Stromstärke und Spannung verfügbar sind.

Dimmbarkeit der Più LED ist mit entsprechenden Treibern in allen üblichen Ansteuerungen analog wie digital problemlos möglich. Die integrierten Treiber von alto ² sowie alto ² track LED sind in der 13 W Version nicht dimmbar bzw. nicht digital ansteuerbar, die 18 W Versionen der alto ² und alto ² track LED sind jedoch per Phasen-abschnittsdimmer in der Helligkeit regelbar.

Più LED spotlights can be used with every standard LED driver (13 W: max. 700 mA, min. 20 V; 18 W: max. 500 mA, min. 42 V). They require a DC constant current source. Several LED spotlights can thus be connected in series to one driver, as long as the needed current and voltage can be supplied.

Più LEDs can be dimmed using the appropriate analog or digital drivers com mercially available. The integrated driver of alto ² and alto ² track LED is not dimmable or digitally controllable in the 13 W version, while the 18 W versions can be dimmed using a trailing-edge phase-cut dimmer.

Bei den hohen Più alto ² Strahlern ist das Vorschalt-gerät bereits im Gehäuse integrier t (one box Design) . Von festen Betondecken über Hohlbefestigungen bis zu track Versionen für 1- oder 3-phasige Stromschienen – für Più alto stehen für alle nur denk-baren Anwendungen passende Montagelösungen zur Verfügung.

The mains voltage versions of the f lat Più alto spotl ights can be con-nected to 230 V mains voltage. The LED, low voltage and CDM ver-sions require external ballasts installed nearby. The high Più alto ² spot-light features a “one box design” with an integrated ballast. For solid concrete, hollow ceilings or track systems single or tr iple phase – there is a mounting solution for Più alto in any kind of application.

Für Più piano stehen verschiedene Varianten für nahezu jede Einbau-situation zur Verfügung. Die seamless Varianten sind bündig in der Decke eingelassen und in der Höhe exakt justierbar. Mit der Einbauplatte, die in einen rechteckigen Ausschnitt eingesetzt und dann verspach-telt wird, sind sie in jeder Gipskartondecke problemlos installierbar. Die Paneel-Montagelösung ist für von hinten zugängliche oder aus herausnehmbaren Elementen bestehende Decken gedacht, wofür ein sauberer Ausschnitt vorbereitet werden muss. In nahezu jeder Hohl-decke nachträglich einbaubar sind die Versionen mit mag netisch be festigtem Coverring. Sie decken eventuelle Toleranzen des De cken-ausschnitts ab und sind in verschiedenen Farben erhältlich. Beide Versionen sind in Verbindung mit entsprechenden Einguss-Gehäusen auch in Betondecken einsetzbar. Gemeinsam ist allen Va ri an ten der werkzeugfreie Ein- und Ausbau der Strahler.

Più piano recessed spotlights are available with several dif ferent mount-ing solutions. The seamless recessed versions are mounted flush with the ceiling sur face and feature a precise height adjustment mechanism. They can be installed in any plasterboard ceil ing using the prefabr i-cated mounting plate, which is inser ted into the rectangular panel cut-out and then skimmed. The panel mounting solution fits ceilings which are accessable from behind or made of removable elements. Al l that is required in this case is a precise panel cutout. The cover versions can also be retrof i t ted in almost any hollow ceil ing. The magnetical ly fixed cover rings are available in various colors mask any gaps or uneven edges around the ceil ing cutout. Both versions can also be instal led in concrete ceil ings using the appropr iate cast boxes. The spotl ight units in al l versions feature tool-free installation and removal.
