seguendo mio padre architetto ho sempre avuto la passione per la progettazione che si è concretizzata nel disegno industriale

ho conseguito la laurea in product design nel 2013 presso lo IED Roma (Istituto Europeo di Design)

ho lavorato per 15 anni nel settore “food and drink” maturando esperienza sia manageriale che progettuale

durante l’anno accademico 2011/2012 approfondisco la ricerca sulla blue economy trasferendone i principi nella progettazione

è molto importante non pensare più ad un prodotto come unico ma come qualcosa che possa cambiare destinazione d’uso

è molto importante pensare di ridurre i processi produttivi a favore dell’ambiente

è importante pensare ad un prodotto facile da smaltire

utilizzare un materiale ecologico non significa avere un prodotto sostenibile

la mia filosofia di progetto è basata sulla ricerca di un prodotto semplice, sostenibile, innovativo

my_hand MyHand è la mano bionica che unisce un’estetica ricercata e la tecnologia piu’ avanzata per la prosteti-ca. L’innovazione del progetto nasce e si sviluppa dal processo creativo, relizzato in continuità fra lo studio D’arc e l’Istituto di Biorobotica del Sant’Anna, e si con-clude con la scelta di materiali innovativi utilizzando le tecniche di prototipazione rapida e 3D printing come SLS e SLA.

“MyHande è stata una sfida molto ardua ma siamo or-gogliosi di averla accettata. Spesso abbiamo invaso il capo tecnico degli ingegneri con l’arte e il design, e in sinergia abbiamo elaborato un concept estremamen-te innovativo. Ci sono ancora molte verifiche e miglio-rie da apportare. Il punto al quale siamo arrivati serve a dimostrare che un progetto tecnologico e funzionale deve essere anche bello.”

MyHand is the bionic hand that combines aesthetics and advanced technology to prosthetisys. The innova-tive project hasstarted and developed by the creative process, in continuity within the studio D’arc and the Biorobotics Institute ScuolaSuperioreSant’Anna, and ends with the choice of innovative materials andthe techniques as rapid prototyping SLS and SLA 3D prin-ting.

” MyHand was a very difficult challenge , but we are proud to have accepted it. Often we invaded the technical field engineers with art and design , and together we have developed a highly innovative con-cept . There are still many tests and improvements to be made . The point at which we got used to demon-strate that a project of technology and function must be beautiful .”
