SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Make sure that the towbar is suitable for the vehicle before starting the installation.

For safety, all work involving towbar installation (incl. electrical components) must be undertaken by skilled technicians.

Damaged components must be replaced with manufacturer’s spares and fitted by qualified staff.

It is forbidden to make any modification or structural repair to towing assembly.

The towball must be kept clean and lubricated. For added safety, his diameter (50 mm) must be checked at regular intervals. If the towball measures less than 49 mm after selected readings across the diameter, the towball must be replaced with a new one.

After 1000 km of towing, check torque settings for nuts and bolts, in accordance with the table.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

Remove any mastic from contact points then paint with anti-rust paint

1. Remove the small rubber part of the exhaust-pipe to reach the inside of the chassis-rail;

2. Position the tie-rods “A” outside of the chassis-rail referring place “1”, pattern the nutholder “B” and insert them inside the chassis-rails and fix referring the screws “1”;

3. Position the towing layout “C” referring the holes “2” and “3” and fix;4. Tighten all bolts and nuts as per torque settings;5. Connect the wirings to the socket;6. Fold inwards the tongues of the nutholders “B” and re-fit the small rubber part of

the exhaust-pipe.
