Nuova qualifica di ECISGROUP perprodotti GE Oil&GasNuovo PignoneECISGROUP ha aggiunto una nuova tipologia di impianti alla gamma di forniture per le turbine ed i compressori General Electric: i Liquid Fuel Forwarding skids.I Fuel Forwarding Skids forniscono alla turbina il combustibile liquido alla pressione e temperatura appropriate; generalmente un Fuel Forwarding Skid comprende filtri, pompe e un riscaldatore elettrico.

Uno tra gli ultimi progetti realizzati è stato particolarmente qualificante perché destinato ad una piattaforma offshore, nel Golfo del Messico, teatro del noto disastro ambientale nel 2010.

Considerato il contesto dell’installazione, le prescrizioni di sicurezza ed affidabilità richieste che sono state particolarmente stringenti, ECISGROUP ha brillantemente superato l’approvazione del progetto ed il collaudo da parte dell’ American Bureau of Shipping, il Dipartimento Navale Americano

che valuta la sicurezza e l’affidabilità delle navi ed in generale l’integrità delle installazioni offshore e delle strutture marittime.

Con questo importante risultato, ECISGROUP arricchisce la lista dei prodotti forniti a GE Oil & Gas Nuovo Pignone, lista che già comprendeva:- Fuel Gas Treatment Skids- Seal Gas Skids- Fuel Gas Heaters- Chemical Injection Skids- HIPPS Systems

ECISGROUP new qualification forGE Oil&Gas Nuovo Pignone productsECISGROUP has added a new typology of systems to the supply range for General Electric turbines and compressors: Liquid Fuel Forwarding skids.The Fuel Forwarding Skids provide the turbine with liquid fuel at the appropriate pressure and temperature; typically the Fuel Forwarding Skid includes filters, pumps and an electric heater.

One of the last projects supplied has been especially qualifying since this was intended for an offshore platform in the Gulf of Mexico, the scene of the terrific environment disaster that devastated the area in 2010.Considering the geographical setting of this installation, the safety and reliability requirements imposed were extremely stringent and exacting but nevertheless ECISGROUP passed the project approval and inspection carried out by the American Bureau of Shipping, the U.S. classification

Society entrusted with the assessment of the design, construction and safety of new vessels and generally of the integrity of offshore installations and marine structures, with flying colours.

Thanks to this important and prestigious result, ECISGROUP widens and upgrades the list of products supplied to GE Oil & Gas Nuovo Pignone, a list already including:- Fuel Gas Treatment Skids- Seal Gas Skids- Fuel Gas Heaters- Chemical Injection Skids- HIPPS Systems

Iraq:ENI IRAQ BV assegna ad ECISGROUP unImportante Contratto per ZUBAIRL’Iraq è un Paese strategico per i settori dell’Oil&Gas, Petrolchimico e Power, essendo uno tra gli stati con la più alta concentrazione di riserve di petrolio e gas naturale. Il suo sviluppo in questi settori sta procedendo rapidamente: impianti e raffinerie devono essere ricostruiti, ampliati e migliorati ed è in tale prospettiva che ECISGROUP ha cominciato a guardare a questo mercato con rinnovato interesse.A seguito dei lavori di ampliamento e ottimizzazione in corso nel campo iracheno di Zubair, uno dei più grandi campi di produzione al mondo situato nella parte meridionale dell’Iraq ad ovest di Basrah, ENI IRAQ BV e ECISGROUP S.p.A. hanno firmato un Contratto per la fornitura di materiali sciolti per il collegamento a teste pozzo relativamente a 90 pozzi. Grazie alla sua lunga esperienza nel trading, con questo Contratto ECISGROUP rafforza ulteriormente la sua posizione sul mercato internazionale come uno dei più apprezzati fornitori di materiali bulk.Non era scontato aggiudicarsi questa gara, che si presentava particolarmente complessa a causa dell’eterogeneità dei materiali richiesti, ma lavorando con scrupolo e garantendo alle richieste di ENI IRAQ un seguito passo-passo, abbiamo vinto questa sfida. Lo sforzo principale che abbiamo sostenuto è stata l’attenta ricerca e valutazione di un ampio numero di fornitori per ognuna delle tipologie di items richieste: lo scopo di fornitura prevede infatti l’approvvigionamento, il collaudo e l’approntamento di tubazioni, flange, riduzioni, valvole a saracinesca manuali, valvole di sicurezza attuate, tappi e manicotti termo restringenti per collegamenti sotterranei. Per ogni tipologia di materiale oggetto della Richiesta d’Offerta abbiamo condotto un’ampia analisi di mercato e, successivamente, una valutazione tecnica e commerciale delle offerte ricevute da diversi potenziali fornitori. I nostri sforzi sono stati rivolti ad assicurare al Cliente la soluzione tecnica più adatta disponibile sul mercato con il miglior rapporto qualità-prezzo. Un valore aggiunto a questo successo è rappresentato dal fatto che non abbiamo usufruito dell’appoggio di nessun agente locale; dunque tutta la trattativa è stata condotta direttamente con ENI IRAQ, rispondendo punto su punto alle richieste di chiarimenti tecnici e commerciali e negoziando le condizioni contrattuali in modo

diretto e lineare. L’acquisizione di questo ordine è stato il punto di partenza della cooperazione tra ENI IRAQ e ECISGROUP e successivamente ENI IRAQ ha confermato la sua fiducia assegnandoci un altro Contratto per la fornitura di 2 valvole a sfera motorizzate. Alla luce di questo reciproco e crescente interesse, la nuova sfida per ECISGROUP sarà approfondire ulteriormente la relazione con ENI IRAQ portandola ad un livello superiore: la nostra esperienza, infatti, non si limita alla fornitura di materiali sciolti - siamo specializzati nella progettazione, realizzazione e fornitura di sistemi chiavi-in-mano ed apparecchiature ingegnerizzate che sicuramente serviranno nei progetti attualmente in corso, incluso Zubair, e in quelli futuri. I prodotti e i servizi offerti da ECISGROUP potrebbero essere un valido supporto nei lavori di rinnovamento dei campi di produzione e delle raffinerie in Iraq e per il futuro ci auguriamo di approfondire la nostra conoscenza del mercato e della realtà irachena, interagendo con le principali Oil Companies e con i più importanti Contractors internazionali operanti sul territorio.

Iraq:ENI IRAQ BV awards ECISGROUP anImportant Order for ZUBAIR Iraq is a strategic country for the Oil&Gas, Petrochemical and Power markets, due to the high concentration of its oil and natural gas reserves that make it one of the first producers and exporters in the world.The Iraqi growth in these sectors is constant and rapid: plants and refineries have to be re-built, expanded and upgraded and in this scenario ECISGROUP has started to look at this market with a renewed interest.Following the ongoing upgrading of existing production gathering networks of Zubair Field, one of the largest oil fields in the world

located in southern Iraq west of Basrah, ENI Iraq BV and ECISGROUP S.p.A. signed a contract for the supply of loose wellhead connection materials relevant to 90 wells. Thanks to its long trading experience, by this Contract ECISGROUP strengthens its position in the international market as one of the best known and highly esteemed suppliers of bulk and loose materials.The success with this job was not such an easily predictable conclusion, as the tender was particularly complex due to the variety of materials requested, but nevertheless and thanks to a careful and thorough work and a step by step follow-up with ENI IRAQ to fully satisfy their project requirements, we eventually won this challenge.Our main effort was focused on the in-depth search and evaluation of a large number of suppliers for each typology of items requested: the scope of supply covers procurement, inspection and delivery services for pipes, flanges, reducers, manual gate valves, actuated surface safety valves, spacers, caps and heat shrink sleeves for underground piping. For each one of these product groups we carried out an extensive market analysis and, afterwards, a technical and commercial evaluation of the offers received from various potential suppliers. Our efforts aimed at offering the Customer the most suitable technical solution available in the market with the best possible price-quality ratio.An added value to this success was that, due to the lack of a local agent, we carried out all the negotiation directly with ENI IRAQ, providing them with point by point replies to their requests for technical and commercial clarifications and negotiating the contractual conditions in a prompt and straightforward way.The award of this order marked the beginning of the business co-operation between ENI IRAQ and ECISGROUP and in fact after some time ENI IRAQ confirmed their trust in us with another order for the supply of 2 motor operated ball valves. Qatar:QATALUM assegna ad ECISGROUP unORDINE per MANUTENZIONEE’ con estrema soddisfazione che ECISGROUP S.p.A. ha recentemente acquisito da QATALUM - Qatar un primo contratto per la manutenzione preventiva di tutti gli impianti forniti ed installati dalla Divisione Service di ECISGROUP S.p.A. in qualità di sub-fornitore di un Main Contractor di livello internazionale quale SNC LAVALIN.QATALUM - Qatar, nel conferire direttamente ad ECISGROUP S.p.A. questo primo ordine, ha dimostrato il proprio apprezzamento, non solo per le soluzioni proposte, ingegnerizzate, fornite ed installate da ECISGROUP S.p.A., ma soprattutto per la serietà e la puntualità con le quali ECISGROUP S.p.A. ed in particolare la Divisione Service, ha gestito ed operato in cantiere dando prova di professionalità, organizzazione, disponibilità e serietà.Quanto sopra è confermato dalla richiesta del Cliente presentata direttamente ad ECISGROUP S.p.A. di formulare altre proposte per contratti di manutenzione “Long – Term for 2 Years”, di durata maggiore e di importo più elevato che coinvolgono discipline diverse e da effettuarsi su impianti non forniti direttamente da ECISGROUP S.p.A.Il rapporto di reciproca stima instauratosi apre orizzonti di collaborazione proficua e duratura con il Cliente, che aveva già

enfatizzato la propria soddisfazione per il lavoro svolto da ECISGROUP S.p.A. nella lettera di ringraziamento emessa da SNC LAVALIN. A tale proposito è opportuno ricordare che per il progetto QATALUM Mesaieed Industrial City ECISGROUP S.p.A. ha fornito il turn-key “FUEL GAS SYSTEM” package comprensivo di: Liquid Separator Skid, Filtration Skid, Flow Metering Computer Skid, Heater Skid, Pressure Reduction Skid, Odorizer Skid, Liquid Reservoir Skid, uno shelter HVAC, un sistema di rilevazione Gas & Flame collegato al sistema centrale tramite fibra ottica. Lo scopo di fornitura includeva anche una pipeline interrata da 8”, 6” e 4” lunga circa 2,4 Km protetta da un sistema catodico per portare il gas dalla “Power Plant” fino alla stazione di trattamento ed una pipeline di superficie da 10”, 8”, 6” e 3” di circa 1,8 Km per la distribuzione del gas alle utilities dell’impianto QATALUM.

Qatar:QATALUM awards to ECISGROUP anORDER for SERVICE Much to our satisfaction ECISGROUP S.p.A. was recently awarded by QATALUM - Qatar the first contract for the preventive maintenance of all the plants supplied and installed by ECISGROUP Service Division as sub-supplier of an internationally renowned Main Contractor like SNC LAVALIN.QATALUM - Qatar, by awarding this first order directly to ECISGROUP S.p.A.,

proved its appreciation, not only for the solutions proposed, engineered, supplied and installed by ECISGROUP S.p.A., but above all for the reliability and punctuality with which ECISGROUP S.p.A. and particularly its Service Division, worked at site with great professionalism, organizational skills and helpfulness.This was confirmed by the Customer’s request submitted directly to ECISGROUP S.p.A. to work out other proposals for “Long – Term for 2 Years” maintenance contracts, with a longer duration and higher value, involving various disciplines and to be carried out on plants not directly supplied by ECISGROUP S.p.A.The mutual trust relationship thus established opens up new horizons for a profitable and long-lasting co-operation with the Customer, who had already emphasized its satisfaction for the work performed by ECISGROUP S.p.A. with a Letter of Thanks issued by SNC LAVALIN. To this end it is appropriate to point out that for the QATALUM Mesaieed Industrial City Project ECISGROUP S.p.A. supplied a “FUEL GAS SYSTEM” turn-key package including: Liquid Separator Skid, Filtration Skid, Flow Metering Computer Skid, Heater Skid, Pressure Reduction Skid, Odorizer Skid, Liquid Reservoir Skid, HVAC shelter, Gas & Flame Detection system connected to the central system through optic fiber. COREA DEL SUD: SAMSUNG ASSEGNA ad ECISGROUP uno“STORICO” CONTRATTO per SHAYBAH 4E’ con grande soddisfazione che, dopo anni di sacrifici e sforzi commerciali capillari, le porte del Lontano Oriente si sono finalmente aperte permettendo l’ingresso di ECISGROUP in Corea del Sud, un mercato in tumultuosa crescita economica.

Grazie alla collaborazione di un team tecnico e commerciale affiatato, ECISGROUP ha recentemente ricevuto da Samsung l’ordine per la fornitura di 9 Skids per la produzione di Azoto con Membrane per il progetto Shaybah 4 di Saudi Aramco, a seguito dell’ottenimento della qualifica nella Vendor List di progetto avvenuto a Settembre.

Lo scopo del lavoro prevede un significativo implemento delle portate come segue: 2 unità da 230 SCFM, 6 unità da 375 SCFM e 1 unità da 500 SCFM, con relativo incremento del valore totale della fornitura. Vale la pena sottolineare che un primo passo era già stato fatto con un altro EPC coreano Hyundai Engineering Co. che a settembre aveva assegnato ad ECISGROUP S.p.A. un ordine per un Chemical Injection Package per il progetto Group III Base Oil Production Facilities di Takreer negli Emirati Arabi.Il package si compone di: sistema iniezione BHT (4 x 2,5 x 4,35 mt - Kg. 4.200) e sistema iniezione fosfato (3 x 2 x 3,7 mt - Kg. 3.100).

L’economia sud coreana è all’undicesimo posto tra le economie più sviluppate al mondo ed è la terza in Asia.

La crescita economica della Corea del Sud negli ultimi 60 anni è stata incredibile; il suo PIL è cresciuto da 100 USD nel 1963 a più di 20.000 USD nel 2007. In generale però l’economia sud coreana deve ancora affrontare molte sfide per rendere il mercato più invitante per frenare la sempre maggiore diversione di investimenti imprenditoriali verso la Cina ed altre nazioni con basso costo del lavoro.

Sul fronte dei settori d’interesse per ECISGROUP, gli EPC sud coreani si sono di fatto dimostrati i concorrenti più temibili per le società di ingegneria italiane anche per la loro “radicata cultura nazionale” fondata sulla collaborazione sistematizzata in ambito industriale che li rende capaci di promuovere la crescita reciproca, lo sviluppo tecnologico

e la competitività internazionale nel mercato globale di contro alla frammentazione dell’economia Italiana caratterizzata da molteplici piccole realtà imprenditoriali e da pochi grandi colossi e riuscendo in questo modo a consolidare la loro posizione di partners preferiti dai principali End Users a livello mondiale anche in mercati dove fino a pochi anni fa non erano presenti, quali i paesi del bacino mediterraneo.

SOUTH KOREA:SAMSUNG AWARDSECISGROUP a“MOMENTOUS” ORDERfor SHAYBAH 4It is with great satisfaction that, after years of sacrifices and capillary commercial efforts, Far East has finally opened its doors to ECISGROUP’s entrance in South Korea, a market with a tremendous economic growth.

Thanks to the close co-operation between its technical and commercial team , ECISGROUP has recently been awarded by Samsung the order for the supply of Nr. 9 Nitrogen Production Membrane Skids for the Saudi Aramco Shaybah 4 project, as a result of its qualification in the project Vendor List that took place in September.

The scope of work is expected to have a significant modification of the flow rates as

follows: 2 units of 230 SCFM, 6 units of 375 SCFM and 1 unit of 500 SCFM, with a relevant increase on the total amount of the supply.

It is worthwhile mentioning that a first step had already been made with another Korean EPC Hyundai Engineering Co. that back in September awarded ECISGROUP S.p.A. with an order for a Chemical Injection Package for the Takreer Group III Base Oil Production Facilities project in the U.A.E.The package consists of: BHT Injection System (4 x 2,5 x 4,35 mt - Kg. 4.200) and Phosphate Injection System (3 x 2 x 3,7 mt - Kg. 3.100).

The South Korean economy is ranking 11th among the world most developed countries and is the third one in Asia.

The economic growth in South Korea has been amazing over the last 60 years; its PIL has increased from 100 USD in 1963 to over 20.000 USD in 2007.Generally however the South Korean economy has still to face several challenges to make the local market more attractive so as to stop the ever increasing diversion of foreign investments to China and other nations offering a lower labour cost.

Regarding the sectors of interest to ECISGROUP, the South Korean EPC contractors have actually proved to be the most aggressive competitors for the Italian engineering companies also for their “ingrained national culture” based on the systematized co-operation within a given industry that enables them to promote mutual growth, technological development and international competitiveness in the global marketplace as compared to the Italian economy that is much more fragmented into a high number of very small businesses and few industrial giants and thus succeeding in strengthening their position of preferred partners with the main End Users worldwide also in those markets where they were not to be found till a few years ago, such as the Mediterranean Sea countries.

Lo scorso 9 novembre 2011 ECISGROUP S.p.A. ha preso parte con altre 16 aziende al Career Event, l’evento organizzato da Career Service dedicato alle Piccole e Medie Imprese svoltosi presso il Campus Bovisa grazie al quale i laureandi e neolaureati del Politecnico di Milano hanno avuto modo di scoprire queste realtà così importanti per il tessuto economico italiano.In questa occasione la postazione allestita da ECISGROUP S.p.A. è stata visitata da un numero interessante di giovani ai quali sono state presentate le attività ad alto contenuto tecnologico e le strategie di internazionalizzazione dell’azienda ed ai quali sono stati illustrati i percorsi di crescita professionale offerti e le posizioni di lavoro aperte.La raccolta dei C.V. lasciati dai visitatori interessati si è poi conclusa in sede nei giorni successivi con un buon numero di colloqui a candidati sia italiani che stranieri.

Sempre nell’ambito education, ECISGROUP S.p.A. ha aderito il 25 novembre all’iniziativa “Industriamoci” (II° giornata nazionale delle PMI di Confindustria), che prevedeva tre giorni di incontri tra circa 540 studenti di istituti tecnici brianzoli e 12 imprese locali.ECISGROUP S.p.A. ha ospitato presso la sua sede di Muggiò 42 studenti delle classi prime con indirizzo informatica-telecomunicazioni ed elettrotecnica-automazione dell’ITIS Hensemberger di Monza accompagnati da due docenti.

Agli studenti è stata fatta una presentazione

delle attività di ECISGROUP S.p.A. nel settore impiantistico ed in particolare della Divisione Automazione per l’ingegneria e la realizzazione di sistemi di controllo di processo e sicurezze in sintonia con il loro indirizzo specialistico.I ragazzi hanno inoltre avuto la possibilità di fare un’esperienza diretta nella “staging area” dove hanno effettuato simulazioni su alcuni sistemi di controllo verificandone il comportamento in base alle varie simulazioni di campo.

Questi due eventi sono una chiara espressione dell’interesse e della disponibilità che la Direzione di ECISGROUP S.p.A. nutre verso il mondo giovanile al quale si è cercato di trasmettere il concetto di piccola e media impresa quale progetto professionale operativo integrato nel contesto sociale in cui opera.

On November 9th, 2011 ECISGROUP S.p.A. participated together with other 16 companies in the Career Event, organized by Career Service and dedicated to Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME), that took place at the Bovisa Campus and during which final year students and newly graduated from the Politecnico in Milan, the university of science and technology, were given an opportunity to discover these realities so important to the Italian economy. On this occasion an interesting number of young people visited ECISGROUP stand where they were described the company high technological content activities and

internationalization strategies and were also illustrated the professional career opportunities and job vacancies offered.The collection of C.V.’s dropped off by interested visitors resulted in a fair number of interviews with both Italian and foreign applicants held at ECISGROUP offices in the following days.

Still within the education world, on November 25th ,2011 ECISGROUP S.p.A. joined the “Industriamoci” initiative (II° national PMI Day organized by Confindustria, the Italian industrial association, dedicated to Small and Medium sized Enterprises) planning a three-day meeting between about 540 students from technical institutes in Brianza and 12 local companies. ECISGROUP S.p.A. welcomed at its headquarters in Muggiò 42 students from first classes with IT- telecommunication and electrotechnical-automation specializations from ITIS Hensemberger, Industrial Technical Institute, in Monza accompanied by two teachers.The students were given a presentation of ECISGROUP activities in the plant industry and particularly of its Automation Division for the engineering and construction of process control and safety systems in line with their school specializations.Moreover they were allowed to have a first-hand experience in the “staging area” where the students could perform simulations on some control systems and check their responses according to different field simulations.

These two events are clear examples of the availability and interest of ECISGROUP Management in young people and of the attempt at conveying to them the concept of the Small and Medium sized Enterprise as an operating professional project integrated in the local social context.For more information contact K.branda@ecisgroup.it
