L'artigianalità convive con la logica industriale, il design con l'innovazione tec-

nologica.

Per Seal Porte la porta di nuova generazione si chiama FLEXA, un sistema flessi-

bile in termini dimensionali, di resistenza al fuoco e di fonoisolamento, capace

di passare da 50 fino a 125 mm di spessore dell'anta e da 27 a 45 db di isola-

mento acustico. Da questo sistema nasce Bringall, la nuova porta domotica frut-

to della ricerca di soluzioni innovative dell'azienda abruzzese.

Certificata per una resistenza al fuoco di 45 minuti secondo Uni En 1634 e forte

del British Assessment con 45 db di isolamento acustico, Bringall attualmente è

l'unica porta in grado di dialogare con i sistemi di controllo e gestione dell'ho-

tel grazie all'impiego di monitor, schede elettroniche ed elettro serratura inte-

grata nell'anta.

È l'ultimo, per ora, dei tanti traguardi dell'azienda fondata nel 1919 come bot-

tega artigiana e trasformatasi con gli anni in industria. Come in tutte le storie

aziendali, il momento che detta un cambio di passo è la richiesta nel 1991 di

realizzare una porta ad elevato isolamento acustico per l'hotel Sheraton di

Genova, seguita l'anno dopo dall'emanazione delle norme antincendio per gli

alberghi. Così Seal decide di creare una divisione dedicata completamente al

settore alberghiero, seguita a breve da S'Design, il dipartimento di design che

presenta ogni anno nuovi modelli anticipando le tendenze di mercato, poi tra-

sformato in S'R&D. Ci si rende conto, infatti, che il valore aggiunto delle propo-

ste è dato dalla relazione tra estetica accattivante e innovazione tecnologica. E

il dipartimento S'R&D, in cui coesistono creatività e tecnologia, incoraggia, tra-

duce e indirizza il continuo processo innovativo. Ne è un esempio la sound

proof room attraverso la quale l'azienda testa i nuovi materiali con l'obiettivo

di coniugare la resistenza al fuoco a un'elevata fonoisolanza.

Sono risultati ottenuti grazie all'aggiornamento costante e a un nuovo approc-

cio organizzativo che impiega professionalità giovani, dinamiche ed esperte. La

formula del successo di Seal coniuga la sapienza nel gestire e nel costruire con

le moderne tecnologie, per una produzione flessibile basata non sull’industria-

lizzazione del prodotto ma sull’industrializzazione dei processi produttivi. In

altri termini nel far convivere l’artigianalità con una logica industriale.

E i tangibili consensi degli alberghi di prestigio italiani ed esteri non mancano.

For Seal Doors, the new generation door is called Flexa, a flexible system in

terms of dimensions, fireproofing and soundproofing, capable of ranging

from 50 to 125 mm of door thickness and from 27 to 45 db of soundproofing.

This system has given birth to Bringall, the new domotic door which is the

fruit of the company’s research for innovative solutions.

Certified as proof against fire for 45 minutes according to Uni En 1634 and

possessing the British Assessment, Bringall is certified as well for 45 db sound-

proofing, Bringall is currently the only door able to dialogue with hotel con-

trol and management systems as a result of its use of monitors, integrated cir-

cuits, electrical cards and electromechanical locks enclosed within the door.

This is the latest of the many breakthroughs of the company which was foun-

ded in 1919 as a handicraft workshop and which grew into an industry over

the years. As in all company stories, the transformation has a specific date:

this was the request in 1991 to create a door with high soundproofing for the

Hotel Sheraton of Genoa, followed the year after by the issuing of fireproo-

fing regulations for hotels. Thus Seal doors decided to create a division dedi-

cated entirely to the hotel sector, soon to be followed by S’Design,the design

department which presented new models every year, anticipating market

trends; S’Design was then transformed into S’R&D. It can be seen, in fact, that

the added value of the company offer derives from the relationship between

captivating aesthetics and technological innovation. And the S’R&D depart-

ment, in which creativity and technology coexist, encourages, translates and

orients this continuous innovative process. An example of this is the sound-

proof room by means of which the company tests new materials with the aim

of combining fireproofing with a high level of soundproofing.

These results have been obtained by constant updating and a new organiza-

tional approach employing young, dynamic and skilled professionals. Seal’s

success formula combines wise management with use of modern constructio-

nal technologies, for a flexible production based, not on the industrialization

of the product but on the industrialization of the productive processes. In

other words, by making handicraft cohabit with industrial logic.

And this success is witnessed by the many tangible responses from leading

Italian and foreign hotels.
