che mi seguiva, Sig. Carlo Cartabia, mi invita ad andare a vedere uno show a Travagliato. Lì per la prima volta ho davvero pensato che il cavallo arabo è il Re di tutti i cavalli.Il Sig. Cartabia mi consiglia di fare vedere il puledro a Gilberto Oberti che all’epoca era uno degli handler più rinomati. Oberti ha preso il cavallo in addestramento per gli show e in quel momento è iniziata la mia passione e mania per il cavallo arabo.
TA: Avevi già avuto cavalli oppure hai iniziato con gli arabi?PR: Io prima allevavo quarter horse ma durante una gara ho avuto un infortunio. Pensavo di smettere con i cavalli ma poi è arrivato l’arabo, fortunatamente. Sono felice adesso di allevare il cavallo piu’ bello e funzionale al mondo.
TA: Con quali linee di sangue hai iniziato ad allevare?PR: Ho iniziato ad allevare con Chawy NA (LF Firewater x VR Padrons Camille) allevata in Brasile.Lei è la cavalla che mi ha permesso di costruire l’allevamento, ho avuto diversi campioni da lei ed ho cercato di tenermi tutta la sua produzione. Mi manca molto, ho davvero sofferto quando è mancata. Sono alla sua quinta generazione.

TA: Quali stalloni hai usato?PR: Ho coperto con Lucky Dream e WH Justice, che miè piaciuto più di tutti e che infatti ha legato benissimo con le mie linee di sangue. Poi ho coperto con Cavalli e con Kahil Al Shaqab.Ho avuto subito delle belle soddisfazioni da Lucky Dream e Chawy NA. Da loro è nata Nashira by Chawy NA. Con lei e WH Justice in 2 anni ho avuto 2 sorelle piene.Ho deciso di vendere una delle due per evitare troppa consanguinetà. Ho deciso di vendere Nadira Regalis, grazie alla collaborazione con Simone Leo in Polonia, e successivamente la cavalla è stata esportata in Kuwait.Natisse Regalis è ancora con me ed ho sempre rifiutato diVenderla, cosi’ come Nashira by Chawy NA. Ogni annomi danno grandi gioie.Successivamente ho usato RFI Farid. Sono stato uno dei primi a credere in lui tanto che la cavalla venduta in Kuwait, Nadira Regalis, era già destinata a Rfi Farid nelle mie idee.Grazie a RFI Farid e WH Justice il mio allevamento haavuto ancora piu cavalli da show.Da RFI Farid e WH Justice è nato Vivaldi Regalis,

TA: Which stallions did you use? PR: I bred with Lucky Dream and WH Justice, that I liked most of all, and that in fact did very well with my bloodlines. Then I bred with Cavalli and with Kahil Al Shaqab. I immediately had great satisfaction from Lucky Dream and Chawy NA. From them Nashira by Chawy NA was born. With her and WH Justice in 2 years I had 2full sisters. I decided to sell one of the two to avoid too muchconsanguinity. I decided to sell Nadira Regalis in Poland, thanks to the collaboration with Simone Leo, and later themare was exported to Kuwait. Natisse Regalis is still with me and I have always refused to sell it, as well as Nashira by Chawy NA. Every year they give me great joys.Later I used RFI Farid. I was one of the first to believe inhim so much that the mare sold in Kuwait, Nadira Regalis,in my mind was already destined for RFI Farid. Sono stato anche uno dei primi a usare SA Faez Simbad di Angelo Scipioni che, sempre con Nashira by Chawy NA mi ha dato Nemesi Regalis e il Campione Italiano Puledri 2019, Michelangelo Regalis, che per me sarà un outsider e un grande riproduttore. Devo dire che sono stato fortunato. La bellissima Naisha Regalis è nata da un papà non famosissimo, Storm La Roncola, sempre legato a Lucky Dream.
TA: Regalis Arabians recentemente ha aumentato il parco fattrici, raccontaci qualcosa.PR: Si recentemente ho acquistato una cavalla non più giovanissima ma di cui ero innamorato, PS Palestrina nata nel 2003 e figlia di Lucky Dream x Palestrina.L’avevo vista ad uno show a Macerata parecchi anni fa ed era rimasto il mio chiodo fisso. Mi ero innamorato di lei e della figlia di Wadee Al Shaqab che era con lei Ho seguito tutta la produzione e finalmente sono riuscito ad acquistarla.Spero possa parzialmente sostituire Chawy NA che è mancata lo scorso anno. Chawy NA mi ha regalato un sacco di “perle”: Nashira by Chawy NA, Demetra Regalis, Gio Gio, Chawy Regalis, per dirne alcune.

This recognition has given me even more conviction in what I’m doing. Last year, I also sold to Mrs Hayek Nemesi Regalis, one of the few fillies in the world who he had a score of 20 in the head and neck at the European Championship 2018 five times. In addition, I was asked to lease Vivaldi Regalis for two years in Jordan, I can’t say the name of the farm yet, but Vivaldi will go to Jordan and I am very satisfied with it.. Tengo a sottolineare che per me il cavallo arabo è amore e passione, non è un business.Creando la Regalis Arabians e il nuovo allevamento il sogno nel cassetto l’ho già realizzato. Ma certamente certe vendite realizzate e apprezzamenti ti danno ancor più convinzione. Mi ha fatto piacere poi che un allevatorecon esperienza di 40 anni come Ferdinand Huemer abbia scelto di dare a me in leasing lo stallone Renee El Lawrence e sono sicuro che da lui nascerà presto qualcosa di bello. Una collaborazione che intendo ancor più sviluppare con un vero e proprio maestro nel nostro mondo.
TA: Raccontaci le tue sensazioni al Campionato Italiano.PR: Il mio desiderio e la mia soddisfazione era di vincere con Michelangelo Regalis che avevo affidato ad un grande trainer, Giacomo Capacci, con cui ho iniziato una bella collaborazione e che reputo un eccellente professionista.
