Iren it is a family company that was established in 1958 and from that time was

concentrated in the office furniture market.

More than 40 years of activity in this market have permitted to develop high

competences in designing, producing and marketing office furniture.

In 1992 The Company decided to modify its positioning in the market and started the

collaboration with the designer Piero Lissoni.

The collaboration brought to a collections of new products characterised by an

elegant and minimalistic design.

During these years new designers started to collaborate with the company .

Today Irenuffici has a complete collection of products all coherents with the vision of

the "Office" developed in those years and continuosly updated, and started also to

work in the contract market.

Our goal is to produce furniture for the office enviromnmet that express elegance,

joy and simplicity for this we design products in which the detail has the maximum

importance.

We are conviced that nowadays a product is bought more for the emotions that can

express than for the funcions that can do, simply because a good level of quality is

now a market standard.

We produce in our factory everything that is wood, all other components are

produced under our control from specialized suppliers around our area.

The Idea

“We want all our products to

convey beauty, elegance,

harmony and simplicity, and

because of these qualities to be

suitable for several situations and

environments” From this statement

and engagement of Iren, the

“Pergola” idea is born; a single

table, a system, can be whatever,

according to the needs and tastes

of those who propose and buy it.

Technical features

The frame of the table is self-

supporting and it’s made up of

supporting legs and connecting

cross pieces realized in extruded

aluminium. The legs are linked to

the cross pieces through joints in

zama die-casting. The leg has a

triangular section and it’s slightly

inclined towards the inside (4 )̊. It

has a level adjustable foot, to be

adjusted from inside by a key. The

cross pieces have a trapezoidal

section and form a frame under

the work tops. Moreover they

have a groove fixed to the

grommets and to a range of

accessories. The cross piece is

connected to the leg through a die-

casting joint that is fixed by a

expansion system and a safety

screw. The frame realized enables

to carry out, with some limits,

tables of customized sizes with no

losses in technical features and

accessories advantages.

The top of the table, because of

the self-supporting frame, can be

made of several materials and

finishes. The finishes are:

-Melamine E1 class, 19 mm thick.

-Veneered wood on clipboard E1

class, 30 mm thick, in type of oak.

Finishes: bleached, dark grey,

dark brown, natural. Acrylic matt

paint 20 gloss. Solid wood edge,

shaped of aerofoil in the same

finish of the top.

- Transparent extralight or painted

glass, 12 mm thick.

-Lacquered Mdf glossy polyester,

30 mm thick. The edges are

shaped of aerofoil.

The top is fixed to the frame and

matches every connection joint

through the legs and the steel

plates fixed to the cross pieces.

The glass top is leant on

transparent orna- ments inserted in

the frame.

The accessories

The different accessories available

for the Pergola table are essential

because they enable it to be

adjusted for the several uses, for

exemple, transforming it from a

simple table into either a

workstation or a meeting table.

There are 2 types of accessories:

-fixed to the frame of the table

-leant on the top

The horizontal and vertical ducting,

and the hung support for the CPU

belong to the first category. The

grommets and the 2 types of the

available screens belong to the

ducting is realized in painted sheet

metal and it’s linked to the cross

pieces of the frame; it enables the

lodging of the excess cables and

the possible multiple sockets. The

space available between the top

and the bottom of the conduit is

adjustable: it goes from 50 mm to

80 mm. In the horizontal conduit,

on the sides and in the middle,

some lock points are provided

where fix the vertical ducting to.

Two types of grommets are

available; one of them is in

anodised or painted aluminium,

equiped with releasable door that

enables to reach possible multiple

under sockets. The screens are

either to be leant on or to be fixed

to the top. In the first case the

triangular shape and the tecnica

features make the solution

proposed innovative; the

miniscreen is completely realized

in metal sheet, and, its part at sight

is covered in fabric; it can contain

on the sides multiple sockets. In

this way we obtain an easy

partition of spaces from an

easthetic point of view and also a

direct access, to the power supply,

data and telephone network.

Moreover, a range of accessories

realized in metal sheet to be used

as paper and pen holder can be

linked to this miniscreen. The

second type of screen is directly

fixed through a contour in

aluminium and it has a function of

a simple partition.

Wss collection design Piero LissoniThe Idea “A classic of office furniture, the well-known T-shaped leg is reinterpreted in an elegant and plain way. A collection that has had a great influence on the sector and remains always fashion- able thanks to its design as well as to its flexibility, plainness and economic qualities. “

Technical features The supporting frame is made up of reversed T-shaped epoxy-powder coated steel legs; the leg base and the connection plate to the table top are of pressed steel with a thickness of 2 mm, the central tubular element connecting the base to the plate has a diameter of 60 cm and is 3 mm thick. Different types of legs are available, depending on the height adjustment system and kind of leg. According to the height adjustment option, there are legs with fixed height (72 cm) and also manually adjustable legs by steps (68-84 cm). Based on the kind, there are end legs and central ones. The variety of available options enables thus to meet all possible needs in organizing the workstations. Besides legs, also chests of drawers can serve as table supports. Further details are available in the specifications of the “Cassettiere” Collection. The workstation top is crossed lengthwise by a reversed U-

shaped steel bar attached to the supporting legs, mainly acting as a table top support. Each top is equipped with a series of holes to enable using it in all the possible combinations and with all the accessories, such as hanging screens and both horizontal and vertical cable ducts. Metal bushes are to be inserted into the holes. The available table tops can be divided by shape, size and material, as well as by thickness and kind of edge. The available thickness for the full laminate is 12 mm and 30 mm for all the other materials .

Accessories the following accessories to be attached below the table top are available :-Tip-up horizontal cable management system. The cable duct, made of varnished steel, is attached to the bottom side of the table top and is suited to hold additional cables, with the wiring free to access the worktop at any point along the side the cable duct is placed.-Vertical cable management system, obtained by a clear plastic cable vertebra with a aluminium base.-Round abs or rectangular aluminium cable ducts.-Varnished steel support structure for central unit-Hanging screens, attached to the

table top by extruded aluminium clamps

Compliance with law. All the proposed workstations comply with the requirements provided for by attachment VII to Leg. Decree Nr. 626 of 1994 and later amendments, and with the 90/270/EEC directive of 29/05/1990. A certification of compliance with Leg. Decree 626 by Catas is available in this connection. The bodies entrusted with the testing for compliance with UNI regulations deemed the types of finish NB07,ST01,RV02 and RV03 not to be compliant with law 626. The ministerial decree of 2/10/2000, which updates and completes Leg. Decree 626 of 19/9/1994, includes under item 2 of the guidelines the following statement: “The worktop surface shall be of a light colour, possibly other than white, and shall in any case not reflect light”.

Compliance with regulations.

The workplace was subjected to tests in accordance with UNI regulations, the relevant certifications are available at our sales offices. In all tests, the tables always attained at least the fourth level.

Datastore 2.0 collection design MC01The Idea A system of containers that is simple, robust, and extremely functional, with a neat line suited to be used in executive offices, too.“

Technical features The structure of the container, including the back panel and the doors, is made of melamine, wood or lacquered MDF-veneered chipboard, 19 mm thickness. There are two frame versions , one for wall placement with inset back panel and one for partition walls with a full overlay back panel, so as to allow the use of the cabinet in an open-plan room. The cabinets are equipped with adjustable feet and holes in the sides every 32 mm for shelf positioning. The height of the various containers was determined based on a module allowing to place the containers one on top of the other. The basic modules have two or three compartments, and all the others are derived from them (e.g. the 4-compartment module is twice as high as a 2-compartment module, subtracting the measurement of the feet of the container to be put on top). Doors are available with 110° or 155° hinges, while the lock is the same in all versions. Locks are equipped with removable cylinders, with the numbering of the cylinder determined randomly out of 400

available numbers. Should special numbers not included in the 400 randomly distributed ones be required, a specific request has to be submitted. In any case, given the fact that the cylinder can be removed, the number can also be changed after delivery. The shelves are made of epoxy powder-coated metal (ready for the hooking of hanging folders), of melamine, wood or lacquered. Extractable frames for hanging files, in widths 80 and 100 cm, may be added, file cabinets are available with 2 or 3 file drawers.

Compliance with regulations. The containers were subjected to tests in accordance with UNI regulations, the relevant certifications are available at our sales offices. In all tests, the tables always attained at least the fourth level.

Citycabinet collection design CKRThe Idea “To realize a system of storage units that, although they mantain all the functional features of a typical office cabinet, conveys beauty and creatività”.The collection is born according to the frame of the Datastore storage units. It adds a special design for the doors and enables to reach the declared goal. The handles design turn a standard office cabinet into a charming piece of furniture.

Extralight collection design Piero LissoniThe Idea “To realize a system of screens that can be used both to divide workstations in open space and to create environments, corridors, display and reception as well, in an easy and elegant way, enabling to make out everytime their composition”.The collection, that has the supporting frame completely realized in aluminium, can be perfectly adjusted to every environment is placed and, thanks to its flexibility, enables to realize easily customized solutions. An exemple of simple, elegant, essential and transparent design.

Technical features The supporting frame has uprights realized in extruded aluminium with tubing section, having a diameter of 35 mm and lower adjustable foot. The upright is linked to the panels through upper and lower joints in painted aluminium in zama die-casting. Different types of uprights are available (end cup 90°, 180°, 3 ways etc.) to realize all the possible configurations of the dividing panel. The upright can be provided with a supporting foot realized in painted steel to get self-supporting compositions. Moreover it can be connected to the operative systems WSS, WSP or Pergola through a bracket in painted steel. The infill panels are

made in several materials and colours and each panel is contained in the upper and lower extremities by an aluminium cross piece of 25 mm thick and 45 mm high. The cross pieces have the function to connect every panel to an upright. On the vertical sides of the panel a contour in anodised extruded aluminium is positioned to connect the panel to the upright. On the panel, on request, there is a slotted upright for the link of shelves and cabinets. The shelves link to the vertical slotted upright between the panel and the upright. A door compartment and a sliding door in glass are available. The wide dimensions of the modules with the last right numeral either 2 or 4 are nee- ded in particular closed configuration compositions.

City collection design CKRThe Idea “An elegant and original collection of tables and desks. City has a base in the form of a stylized tree which conveys emotions and atmospheres capable to conciliate us with the nature. A product that has already a place in the design books .“

Technical featuret The tops of the meeting tables and of the desks that are made in veneered wood or MDF lacquered have beveled edges shaped that give an extreme lightness. The tops have a thickness of 30 or 40 mm according to the dimensions. The support of the table top is made in die cast of aluminium, the upper part of it has three arms that stand for the stylized branches of a tree and the base is round with a steel dead weight. The use of a base with such features and shape enables to make tables in several dimensions and forms.

Botticelli collection design Piero LissoniThe Idea “A classic and yet extremely elegant and plain table, a true masterpiece that has set and continues setting a fashion in office furniture: the first kind of office desk that can also be used at home.”The Botticelli collection is a line of tables, desks and containers that combines simplicity,elegance and exclusive finishes, and is particularly suited for a modern and partecipative management style, where the working environment is meant not to convey authority butrather authoritativeness.

Technical features The tables and desks are made up of the worktop and 4 square-section supporting legs.The table top is 85 mm thick; it is manufactured with the double-panel system and veneered with 0.6- mm-thick wood sheets; at the edges of the top, the veneer is 2 mm thick. The top may be provided on the front with 3 drawers in the same finish as the frame. The legs have a width of 90mm. and are veneered with 2-mm-thick sheets and made of multi-layered plywood. Each leg is provided with a hole at the centre and is attached to the table top by a threaded rod placed inside the hole, which is screwed from the top side to a bush and provided with a terminal

bolt. One of the four legs can be equipped with an horizonthal wiring channel A modesty panel of satin glass is available for the desk, to be hung below the table top and fixed along the sides to the legs through special glossy cast aluminium elements. The desk can be equipped with one anodized aluminium or wood veneered grommet or with two anodized aluminium or wood veneered grommets and a wiring channel inside the top frame that link them.

Consolle collection design Sung Sook KimThe Idea “A collection of drawer units, returns, back desk and hangings extremely elegant and clean, suitable for any Iren executive collection combination”

Technical features The frame and the drawer fronts of all storage units are realized either in lacquered MDF or veneered with shaped edges, in order to make all the connections invisable and the piece of furniture as clean as possible. All the slide runners both of the drawer units and the returns are sphere, fully extraible, with pressure opening. The 120 cm return on wheels has a CPU holder compartment with a side cables door for the exit of cables towards the workstation, 2 upper paper holder drawers. One of these drawers can be seen inside from the upper top through a glass. Moreover there are several combinations of drawers to meet all the requirements. The wheels, when expected, are provided with brake. All the drawers, except of the paper holder ones, have a lock with pliable key. Locks are equiped with removable cylinders, with the numbering of the cylinder determined randomly out of 400 available numbers. In the case of need of not included numbers in the 400 ones distributed, a specific request has to be submitted. In any case, given the

fact that the cylinder can be removed, the number can also be changed after delivery. It’s possible to request a master key.

Technical features

Module The width of the modules can be 50 cm. or 100 cm. in interaxis. The depth is 41 cm. or 43 cm. for the dividing version.The standard version in height includes modules up to 3050 mm.. Superior heights can be supplied – the quotation has to be made

Structure of the module The structural and the finish side panels are 19 mm. thick and are equipped with a levelling foot adjustable from the inside at interval 15 mm. Every structural side panel is drilled by step of 32 mm. to allow the union of doors, structural shelves, back panels and internal equipment.The levelling feet are in a PVC packing with anti slip and sound-proofing functions. On the superior part and at the base are PVC p with sound-proofing functions. The back panels can be inside or outside the cabinet and are 19 mm. thick.The shelves are 30 mm. thick –the metal ones are equipped to hang suspended files.

Doors The doors are 19 mm. thick and are equipped with hinges 110° or

180°. All the doors are equipped with lock and folding key.

Lock numeration The locks have exrtractable cylinders, the numeration of the cylinder is random between 400 numbers that are available. If it is ne special numeration must be explicity asked. In any case as the cylinder is extractable the numeration can be changed also after the deli is possible on request to order a master key .

Module for doors and doors The module for the door has aluminium anodised or painted posts. The blind doors are made with frame in spruce plywood and plaqu melamine chipboard, wood or laquered. The standard lock is included in the price and is of the type “push and open”.

Dividing Wall

Technical features

Module The width of the modules can be 50 cm., 80 cm., 100 cm. and 120cm. in interaxis. The thickness is 12 cm.. The blind or glass panels are 19mm. thick. The standard version in height includes modules up to 3050 mm.. Superior heights can be supplied the quotation has to be made for

every single case.

Structure of the module The vertical uprights are made of sheet steel zinc plated 12 mm. thick. Every upright has slots on the side and in the front with 64 mm. intervals to fix the panels and the cross pieces. Two profiles with sound absorption functions (on which adjustment panels push) are positioned at the front on the total length of the upright. A levelling mechanism with a counterthrust spring is fitted to the top of the upright and has an adjustment range +/- 20mm. There is a similar mechanism at the base but without a counterthrust spring. In case of self- standing dividing wall the counterthrust spring is substituted by a steel sheet zinc plated beam. An inferior and superior packing composed by two profiles with anti dust and sound proofing functions is positioned on the total length of the wall. The cross pieces made of galvanized sheet metal are fixed to the uprights by catches and are fitted with seals with sound absorption functions.

Glass panels The glass used is 3+3 mm. with a PVB film of 0,75 mm.. The frame is in natural anodised aluminium or painted.

Sound proofing To improve the sound proofing function it is possible to put among the panels wool rock with sound absorption function.
