I prodotti tessili Biotex® vengono realizzati con fila-ti cardati contententi una nuovissima fibra di vetro speciale HT ad alto contenuto di Calcio Silicati e da una fibra di supporto a base di cellulosa, la Viscosa, che assume un ruolo fondamentale durante la fase di produzione del filato stesso, che volatilizza a 200°C circa. Il rinforzo con filo di acciaio inox al nichel-cromo (1050°C) o con fili di vetro (650°C) consente ai filati Biotex® di garantire una buona resistenza meccanica anche alle alte temperature. Oggi i prodotti Biotex® sono considerati la valida alternativa ecologica ai pro-dotti tessili in ceramica, grazie alle loro caratteristiche di resistenza a temperature elevate, alto potere ter-moisolante, leggerezza e morbidezza al tatto. The Biotex® textiles are made of carded yarns con-taining a very new, special HT glassfibre with a high calcium silicate content and of a supporting cellulo-se fibre, viscose, that assumes the fundamental task during the production phase of the yarn itself, which volatilizes at approximately 200°C. The reinforcement of chrome-nickel stainless steel fibres (1050°C) or with glass fibres (650°C) allow the Biotex® yarns to guaran-tee a good mechanical resistance even at high tem-peratures. Today, the Biotex® products are conside-red a valid ecological alternative to ceramic textiles, thanks to their characteristics of heat resistance, their high heat insulating properties, their lightness and softness of touch. A richiesta viene fornito con un lato adesivo, per facilitarne il posi-zionamento in fase di montaggio. L’adesivo resiste ad una temp. max di 50°C. On request, it can be impregnated with graphite to in-crease lubricating power.ApplicationsFurnaces, boilers, metalwork in general, small gas boi-lers, pipe lagging. When ordering the tape it is suffi-cient to specify the thickness and the width.

Tutti i manufatti tessili (nastri, fi-lotti, trecce, tessuti, calze, ecc.) possono essere grafi-tati mediante un’impregnazione esterna in bagno di grafite, garantendo un’eccellente resistenza termico, una migliore compattezza, una lenta decomposizio-ne, una resistenza a pressioni anche elevate ed una maggiore resistenza alle alte temperature.
