• Hipoxemia postoperatoria afecta 30-50% después de una cirugía sin complicaciones
• Hipoxemia leve sostenida aumenta riesgo de isquemia silente POP en > 80 años

CONCLUSIONES
• La mayoría de los pacientes sometidos anestesia general desarrollarán atelectasia
• El uso de maniobras de reclutamiento es una medida efectiva para prevenirlo.
• Se desconoce si su uso disminuye la morbilidad y mortalidad
