    HEALTH,SAFETY,ENVIRONMENT AND SECURITY POLICY

    HEALTH AND WELLBEING

We strive to ensure that all employees recognize the

threat that drugs and alcohol may pose to Health and

Safety. To be at work in possession of or under the

influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited and

disciplinary action will follow. We will carry out

screening and random testing as and when required.

We strive to ensure that all employees recognize the

threat that active (and passive) smoking of tobacco

poses to health and safety. To do so we designate all

Aprile vehicles and premises as nonsmoking areas

except designated areas. It is strictly prohibited on

hazardous work sites and local regulations will then

    apply.

    ENVIRONMENT

We must conduct our activities in a manner which will

minimise any harmful effect on the environment. To do

so we will train staff to understand human activity

impact on the environment, identify were we can

minimize the production of waste, traffic movement

and nuisance, promote recycling, dispose of items in a

responsible manner and set achievable targets for

    waste reduction.

    ONGOING IMPROVEMENT

We aim to continuously improve the HSES performance

of ourservice. We do this through evaluating risks and

performance; defining work processes, internal audits

    and reporting incidents.

    CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

Legislation, permits, (client) standards and internal

companyguidelines apply as a minimum standard.

PREVENTION, REPORTING AND INVESTIGATION OF INCIDENTS

Incidents must be prevented. Aprile has a hazard

analysis process and manages its operation via

procedures and standards. Should any incident occur, all possible measures will be taken to prevent

escalation. The organization will be prepared by

applying training and practice. Near miss incidents are

investigated to find the root cause. Measures to

prevent repetition must be implemented. We carry out

regular reviews of our HSES performance.

    LINE RESPONSIBILITY

Line management is primarily responsible for

    implementing and observing this policy.

    SAFETY

We must identify risks before start of the work andtrain all staff to recognize and report risks and do their

    work in a safemanner.

    SAFE DRIVING

We must drive in such a manner as to minimize the

chances of being involved in an accident or suffering

injury while driving. Travel must be managed through

firm rules, journey management and performance

monitoring of staff and equipment. Vehicles must be

    equipped as required.

    SECURITY

We must guarantee security of our premises and staff.

To do sowe will keep staff informed of developments

    and take needed measures.

    COMMUNICATION

Management must enable regular and open

communication such that problems can be discussed

and solutions found. To do so we communicate openly

with all staff, we promote and reward safe behaviour,

we inform staff of their duty to act responsibly and to

take all reasonable precautions, we ensure

responsibilities of all staff are clearly defined, we train

our staff for their duties, we ensure commitment of

subcontractors, we carry out assessments of new and

    existing operations, inspections and audits.

    EMPLOYEES

All employees are responsible for observing this policy,

the HSES aspects of their work, observing the

procedures and instructions and their own actions. In

order to achieve this management must make

adequate resources available to them. We request and

encourage an active role from our employees by

providing information, training, instruction and where

necessary, corrective measures. All employees are under an obligation to report

incidents and near misses. We must encourage

    developments aimed at further improvement.

    CONTRACTORS

The same requirements apply to contractors and other

providers of services as to our own employees. If their

own policies and procedures are found to be

inadequate, Aprile management will provide them with

an induction and other relevant information to their

    task.
