In una piccola osteria, ho conosciuto il signor Giuseppe. Un ristoratore all’antica, con l’accoglienza di una volta. Mi ha subito affascinato, siamo rimasti a parlare delle nostre passioni: amiamo il vino, ma il signor Giuseppe dice che oggi non è più buono come ai suoi tempi. Poi inizia a tirare fuori qualche bottiglia di liquore, mai visti.. Mi dice che li produce lui, con la moglie. Tutto ciò che c’è nella bottiglia lo raccoglie a mano.. un matto! Mi fa assaggiare la sua ultima creazione, un liquore di rosa canina: “WOW! Voglio farci un cocktail”, dico.. Lui mi guarda soddisfatto, mi regala una bottiglia ed esclama: “Prego! Divertiti”. In a small inn, I met Mr. Giuseppe, an old fashioned restaurateur, with the classic italian attitude. He immediately fascinated me, we talk about our passions –we both love wine- but Mr. Giuseppe says that today it’s not as good as it was in his day. He then starts pulling out a few bottles of hidden liquors. He tells me that he produces them with his wife. Everything in the bottle is handpicked by them ... crazy! He makes me taste his last creation, a rosehip liquor. "WOW, I say, I want to make a cocktail with this!” He looks at me, satisfied, and hands me a bottle, exclaiming:" Please! Be my guest".

“E’ difficile accontentare una ragazza viziata”, così cantava Miguel Martinez nella canzone “La Niña Fresa”. L'unica cosa che riusciva a soddisfarla era il tepache; Speriamo che con questo drink a base di esso, riusciremo a soddisfare anche voi!

“It is difficult to please a spoiled girl”, as Miguel Martinez sang in “La Niña Fresa” song. The only thing that could satisfy her was tepache. We hope that with this cocktail based on the drink of the "spoiled girl" we will be able to satisfy you too!

In autunno, la vigna vergine arrossisce di fronte agli alberi che si denudano.. L’autunno è il momento ideale per tenere conto di ciò che abbiamo fatto, di ciò che non abbiamo fatto, e di ciò che vorremmo fare il prossimo anno. Questo cocktail è un omaggio a questa misteriosa stagione, utilizzando i suoi ingredienti e trasformandoli in primavera.

In autumn, the virgin vineyard blushes in front of the trees that are undressed.. Autumn is the perfect time to think about what we have done, what we have not done, and what we would like to do next year. This cocktail is a tribute to this mysterious season, using its ingredients and turning them into spring.

Immaginate un monaco benedettino, innamorato del cocktail Margarita.. dopo ore di lungo lavoro miscelando le erbe per produrre il famoso liquore chartreuse succede l’imprevisto.. il prezioso liquido verde cade dentro al drink.. Un risultato.. Divino!

Try to imagine a Benedictine monk, in love with the Margarita cocktail.. after long hours of work, mixing the herbs to produce the famous chartreuse liqueur the unexpected happens... the precious green liquid falls into the drink.. The result? Divine!

Questi sono i profumi e i sapori che hanno accompagnato il mio ultimo giorno in India, prima di rifare le valigie e tornare a casa. Ricordo ancora le risate interrotte dai sorsi di whiskey, il profumo di curcuma e zenzero ancora impresso nei sensi e ricordo la malinconia di quando, sull'aereo, mi allontanavo da quella terra incantevole. Questo drink è il mio ricordo di quel magico posto chiamato India.

These are the aromas and flavors that accompanied my last day in India, before packing my bags and going home. I still remember the laughter interrupted by sips of whiskey, the scent of turmeric and ginger still impressed in the senses and I remember the melancholy of when, on the plane, I moved away from that enchanting land. This drink is my memory of that magical place called India.

Di ovvia ispirazione al grande classico. Un omaggio al Conte Camillo, uomo dai mille colori.. Ho immaginato di rendere omaggio alla memoria del conte augurandogli la buona (ed eterna) notte, come farebbe una mamma premurosa.. con una buona tazza di camomilla e miele, non dimenticando il carattere del drink originale.

An obvious inspiration to the great classic. A tribute to Conte Camillo, the man of many colors.. I have imagined to pay tribute to the memory of Camillo, wishing him the good (and eternal) night, as would a caring mother .. with a good cup of chamomile and honey, doesn’t forgetting the character of the original drink.

Gli antichi pensavano che l’acero fosse uno degli alberi del Bosco Sacro, quello che rappresentava il collegamento fra cielo e terra, visto che la sua chioma si espande in ogni direzione e i suoi rami si biforcano diverse volte. Le punte delle foglie indicano i punti cardinali, un simbolo di apertura verso l’esterno, verso il mondo e anche verso la conoscenza, racchiudendo in se anche un pizzico di curiosità.

The ancients thought that the maple was one of the trees of the Sacred Wood, the one that represented the connection between heaven and earth as its foliage expands in every direction and its branches branch off several times. The tips of the leaves indicate the cardinal points, a symbol of openness towards the outside, towards the world and knowledge, enclosing even a hint of curiosity.

Dopo la recente stagione invernale trascorsa a St. Moritz, questo drink vuole raccogliere

diversi sapori collegati a diversi ricordi di una bellissima esperienza in Engadina...la mela

che mi accompagnava in ogni colazione, la mandorla che mi dava la carica durante le

giornate sugli sci, e l infusione di roibos alla vaniglia che mi faceva compagnia nelle sere

finito il lavoro.

After the recent winter season spent in St. Moritz, this drink wants to collect different flavors

linked to different memories of a beautiful experience in the Engadin ... the apples that

accompanied me in every breakfast, the almond that gave me the power during the days

on skiing, and the infusion of vanilla roibos that kept me company in the evening after work.

Sebbene Plinio il vecchio visse centinaia di anni di anni fa, in una realtà completamente

diversa dalla nostra, anche lui in uno dei suoi più importanti manoscritti cita un famosissimo

ingrediente naturale, usato sulle nostre tavole tutti i giorni. Abbiamo deciso di rendergli

omaggio inserendolo nel nostro drink….siete in grado di riconoscerlo? provate e fateci

sapere.

Although Plinio “il vecchio” lived hundreds of years ago, in a completely different reality

than ours, he also mentions a famous natural ingredient, used on our dishes every day in

one of his most important manuscripts. We decided to pay homage to him by inserting this

ingredient into our drink ... are you able to recognize it? try and let us know.

fiammante. Passavo giornate a provarne diverse da vari venditori, ma sempre incentrato

sullo stesso modello di moto, quello che rispecchiava i miei gusti di sempre. Fin quando un

giorno decisi di ascoltare un consiglio di un caro amico e cambiare completamente

genere,qualcosa che mai immaginavo potesse piacermi... mi dovetti ricredere; così

vorremmo che Voi faceste per questo drink,dandoci fiducia nel farvi degustare un drink che

per quanto possa essere lontano dai vostri gusti ,probabilmente vi farà ricredere.

Spring... first hot days... want to run the Lake aboard a brand new motorcycle. I spent days

trying different ones from various sellers, but always focused on the same model of bike,

the one that reflected my tastes. Until one day I decided to listen the advice of a dear friend

and completely change genre, something I never imagined I could like ... I had to change my

idea; so we would like that also in this drink you could gave us your trust, and enjoy a drink

that maybe is far from your usually tastes , but that probably you will like it.

Per i Romani e i Greci la salvia era governata da Giove, il quale attribuì a questa pianta

capacità purificanti, perciò la salvia divenne sinonimo di salvezza. Unitamente ai sapori

complementari di questo cocktail, se non la salvezza vi offrirà almeno una buona dose di

tranquillità.

For the Romans and the Greeks the sage was ruled by Jupiter, who attributed purifying

abilities to this plant, therefore sage became synonymous with salvation. Together with the

complementary flavors of this cocktail, if not salvation, it will offer you at least a good dose

of tranquility.

Ore 18.00 il sole tramonta sulla sponda ovest del lago; siamo a Como , città famosa per la

seta. I nostri ospiti si staranno sicuramente godendo l’aperitivo sulla magnifica terrazza. Da

questa immagine impressa nelle nostre menti abbiamo voluto creare un drink che

raccogliesse tutti questi particolari , e abbiamo deciso di scegliere la curcuma , spezia che

viene collegata alla bellezza, ai tramonti e alla delicatezza di tessuti pregiati.

It’ s 6pm... the sun goes down on the western side of the lake; we are in Como, a city famous

for silk. Our guests will surely enjoy the aperitif on the magnificent terrace. From this image

imprinted in our minds we wanted to create a drink that would collect all these particular,

and we decided to choose turmeric, a spice that is linked to the beauty, the sunsets and the

delicacted fabrics.
