PROFILE

Alessandra Cianchetta is a leading architect and founding partner of AWP, Paris, the award-winning practice that works across scales and genres - from the 160 ha strategic masterplan for the Paris CBD to pavilions, landscapes, interiors, exhibitions and publications. In addition to the architectural work, she develops curatorial projects at the intersection of architecture, urbanism and art : shortlisted for the Curatorial Vision for the forthcoming Swiss National Exhibition 2027 (AWP-HHF), she is currently working with artist Ania Soliman on a project for the 4th Istanbul Art Biennial 2015. Regularly selected for high profile invited international competitions worldwide, Alessandra has also collaborated with Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners on the public realm redesign of Capodichino airportin Naples, and is designing a public square for the Florence high-speed station with Foster + Partners.
