The Seminar programme included plenary sessions together with group sessions, Poster sessions and a Free Questionstime.

These four days provide a real opportunity for all participants to exchange their views and different experiencesdeveloped around all parts of Europe.
It was a unique opportunity for the NBO’s Officers and the EBL EC Members to discuss the expectations of the NBOsfrom the EBL and conversely.
We hope all the participants found the exchange of information and experience invaluable and enjoyable .

“Cerebrum Sanum in Corpore Sano”CSCS2020: FRIENDSHIP, RULES, INTEGRITY, COMMUNITY
7th EBL NBO Officers’ Seminar Berlin,30th January to 2nd February 2014
“Cerebrum Sanum in Corpore Sano” is a project of a not-for-profit Sport Event supported bythe construction of an European community of young people aimed to promote Bridge andFencing Sports and their values, (EU White Paper on Sport), creating a Community basedon Friendship, Respect for Rules, Integrity, Inclusion.
CSCS2020friendship, rules, integrity, community
The project will be presented in occasion of the first Erasmus+ callwith deadline on 14th March 2014. Many other calls are waiting for us:Horizon2020, Europe for citizens, Creative Europe...
Why Bridge and Fencing together? Both disciplines develop through related and complementary paths. It is rather restrictive to think only at features as concentration, strategy, tactics, reaction time, ability to anticipate the opponent’s moves in a few seconds, psychological strength.
In fact, synergies between the two disciplines are many, and can be identified in the teachingand training approach. Generally, an athlete, in order to be able to achieve his full potential, should reach his highest fitness level together with an excellent state of mind.
The training paths of the two disciplines are similar and complementary, and they aim atcreating an ideal bond between physical and brain activities, through in-depth analysis ontopics such as Problem Solving and Team Building,

Young PeopleCommunity
CSCS2020 consists in the organisation of a sport event on Mind Sports Bridge & Fencing, andin the creation of a community of young people on the basis of values such as friendship, integrity, solidarity, inclusion, contained in the EU White Paper on Sport.
The event will take place in Rome, at the Olympic training centre “G. Onesti”, since the 24thApril until the 3rd May 2015, and it will represent the final stage of a training and qualificationprocess, developed over the entire year.
Every participating country will identify a boarding school, engaged with «dual careers», wherefederal instructors, duly selected, will present theoretical and practical training modules aboutBridge & Fencing, which will allow to organise local tournaments to qualify for the finalcompetitions.
