Hello everybody! We are a class of students aged beetwen 14 and 17 years old. We live in Turin, a city in the north of Italy founded by the Romans, so there are a lots of archeological ruins. Beyond being host nation of the Winter Olympics Games in 2006,our city has a lot of important museums, for example the Egyptian museum (which is the second most important in the world). The most representative building is the "Mole Antonelliana" which is also house of the Cinema Museum. The emblem of the town is the bull which also gives its name to one of the two soccer teams of the city: Toro and Juventus. As in all big cities, in Turin there is traffic and air pollution.Together with this letter we're sending you some pictures of our country. You will find many different landscapes, indeed ours is a much varied land. Our territory includes high mountains, lakes, rivers, islands, deep caves and crystal seas.Just click on different spots on the satellite map to see Italy. Enjoy.
