The Erasmus Programme: the largest student
exchange program in the World
• Over 3 million people have been
experiencing Erasmus since 1989
• They will be 5 million in 2020
• 1.300 Universities and other actors
are involved
• 14.7 billion euro to be invested from
2014 to 2020 (40% increase)
• From 2014, Erasmus is moving
mobile people from all over the world
to Europe and viceversa
