tutto 40 progetti CCS e Clean Coal;
– Budget complessivo di ~270 M€,
con contributo comunitario pari a
~180 M€;
– a partecipanti italiani ~14 M€ (~8
%);

NER 300 (2012)
costruzione di impianti di generazione elettrica a fonte rinnovabile e CCS;
Regole prevedono rigide categorie tecnologiche, contribuzione del Paesi Membri ospitanti e del
proponente (sponsor) e soprattutto taglie minime degli impianti (250 MWe per impianti con CCS);

definitivo;
1. Reducing energy consumption and carbon footprint through smart and sustainable usage;
2. Low-cost, low-carbon electricity supply
Develop the full potential of wind energy
Develop efficient, reliable and cost-competitive solar energy systems
Develop competitive and environmentally safe technologies for CO2 capture, transport and
storage;
Develop geothermal, hydro, marine and other renewable energy options;
3. Alternative fuels and mobile energy sources;
4. A single, smart European electricity grid;
5. New knowledge and technologies;
6. Robust decision making and public engagement;
7. Market uptake of energy innovation, empowering markets and consumers;

Scenario1, di riferimento (Business as Usual – BaU)
Scenario1bis, Current Policy Initiatives scenario – CPI
Scenario2, High Energy Efficiency (appliances, new buildings, renovation of existing
buildings, energy savings obligations on energy utilities…): decrease in energy demand of
41% by 2050 as compared to the peaks in 2005-2006;
Scenario3, Diversified supply technologies: no technology is preferred; all energy sources
can compete on a market basis with no specific support measures; de-carbonisation driven by
carbon pricing, with public acceptance of both nuclear and CCS;
Scenario4, High Renewable energy sources (RES): strong support measures for RES: 75%
RES in gross final energy consumption and 97% RES in electricity;
Scenario5, Delayed CCS: similar to Diversified supply technologies scenario but assuming
that CCS is delayed, leading to higher shares for nuclear energy with de-carbonisation driven
by carbon prices rather than technology push;
Scenario6, Low nuclear: similar to Diversified supply technologies scenario but assuming that
no new nuclear (besides reactors currently under construction) is being built resulting in a
higher penetration of CCS (around 32% in power generation).
