Il Lago di Ledro è uno dei più puliti e belli del Trentino, ideale per la balneazione, la pesca e gli sport acquatici come la vela e la canoa. Sono ben 4 le spiagge attrezzate con prato per prendere il sole, servizi igienici, bar, parco giochi, noleggio pedalò o imbarcazioni, dove potersi rilassare al sole o fare il bagno in completa tranquillità. Gli amanti della pesca possono acquistare un permesso giornaliero o settimanale. Gli appassionati della velapossono rivolgersi all’Associazione Vela Lago di Ledro che organizza corsi optimist per ragazzi e regate anche a livello internazionale e mondiale tra cui il Trentino Woman Match Race.

Molte strutture ricettive accettano cani e gatti, a Pur c’è una spiaggia dedicata ai cani e lungo la passeggiata intorno al lago ci sono vari dispenser con i sacchetti per la raccolta delle deiezioni.

Ein Teil des Strands in Pur ist für Hunde geöffnet, damit sie die zusammen mit ihren Besitzern, die Sonne und das Wasser von Ledrosee genießen dürfen. Auf dem Weg rund um den See, sind Dispenser mit Papiertüten zu finden, und in vielen Unterkünften sind Haustiere zugelassen.

Part of the beach in Pur, in the southern part of the lake, is open for dogs, who can enjoy the sun and the lake together with its friends.Moreover, along the walk around Lake Ledro, there are dispenser with bags to collect dog‘s dejections and many hotels and accommodation accept pets.

Der Ledrosee ist einer der schönsten Seen der Region Trentino und im Sommer erreicht eine Temperatur von 24°. Im kristallklaren Wasser werden die Liebhaber der Fischerei und der Wassersport, wie Segeln und Kanu, ihre perfekte Umgebung finden. Vier Strände rund um dem See erlauben diejenige, die in der Sonne liegen und entspannend schwimmen möchten, erholsame Momente zu verbringen. Angelscheine dürfen auch bei dem Fremdenverkehrsamt gekauft werden und Segelboote, Kanu, Surfbrette und Tretboote sind in Molina, Mezzolago und Pieve zu vermieten. Der Segelverein Valle di Ledro organisiert jedes Jahr Optimist Kurse für Kinder und internationale Segelregatten, wie das European Team Racing Championship und das Trentino Women Match Race J22 .

Lake Ledro is like a huge swimming pool, where you can relax on one of the four beaches, swim, fish or decide to sail or to canoe. The water temperature reaches 24° and the waves are never toohigh making it a pleasure to stay in the water. The beaches are equipped with a place to lie in the sun, washrooms, play grounds for children, pedalos or canoes or sail boats to rent, parking space, bar…Every summer the Associazione Vela Lago di Ledro (Sailing Association) organizes optimist courses for children and also several sailing regattas, including international ones, like the Trentino Woman Match Race Cup in September.

Una buona rete di sentieri appartenenti al CAI-SAT (segnaletica rosso/bianca) permette di scoprire la Valle di Ledro a piedi e di scegliere tra percorsi impegnativi e non, dai 65 m del Lago di Garda ai 2254 m del Monte Cadria. Per conoscere storia, natura e tradizioni della Valle di Ledro, l’ufficio turistico organizza da maggio a settembre “Settimane Natura”, il programma di escursioni e passeggiate guidate dagli accompagnatori di territorio del Trentino, adatto sia a famiglie con bambini che ad escursionisti più esperti, grazie ad uscite di diverso livello e difficoltà.La stazione di inanellamento a Casèt, il formaggio in malga, il percorso dello speziale, le trincee della Grande Guerra, la flora, la fucina de le broche sono solo alcuni esempi…

A good network of marked mountain paths offers the opportunity to make easy or challenging hikes in Valle di Ledro, that go from the Mediterranean climate of Lake Garda (65 m) to the alpine one of Monte Cadria (2254m).Thanks to the hiking program “Settimane Natura”, the local Information Office organizes guided walks three times a week: it is a chance to get to know the natural environment, the history and the traditions of Valle di Ledro such as the third Independence War and the Great War, which left trenches and galleries on both mountainsides of the valley; the old crafts and trades, which characterized the economy of the valley in the past centuries; the natural habitat rich in endemic flowers, wildlife and wild game including fascinating views of migratory birds and the relaxing sight of cattle and sheep grazing on alpine pastures.

Ein gutes Netz von Alpenverein-Wanderwege (CAI-SAT in weiß/rot) ermöglicht leichte bis anspruchsvolle Wanderungen, von Gardasee bis Monte Cadria, vom Mittelmeer bis zum Alpenklima. Damit die Gäste Land und Leute auf andere Weise kennen lernen können, bietet der Ledrotaler Fremdenverkehrsverband auch ein Wanderprogramm, das “Settimane Natura“ genannt wird. Ab Mai bis September finden jede Woche geführte halbtägige, auch für Familien mit Kindern im Schulalter geeignet, oder ganztägige geführte Wanderungen statt. Während der Wanderungen werden die Geschichte, die Natur und andere besondere Aspekte des Tales, wie, zum Beispiel, die Bienenwelt, die Käseproduktion auf der Alm, die Vogelmigration am Pass Caset, die Schmiede der Schuhnägel, die endemische Blumen, die Schützengraben aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg, erklärt.

In Valle di Ledro sono state attrezzate 3 aree dove è possibile praticare l’arrampicata sportiva su roccia. Sono falesie con monotiri fino ai 35 metri e vie da 250 metri, con difficoltà adatte sia ai climbers più esperti che alle famiglie con bambini. Le falesie sono in “Finale Ampola”, in Val di Concei al “Pizocol” e “Coel” e la “Regina del Lago” sulla Strada del Ponale*.

In Valle di Ledro gibt es 3 Klettergebiete, die von Anhängern dieses Sports ausgebaut wurden. Sie befinden sich in Ampola, in Val Concei bei „Pizocol“ und „Coel“ und über die Strada del Ponale „Regina del Lago“ mit verschiedenen Schwierigkeitsgraden. Es gibt auch Klettersteigen, besonders auf die Berge über den Gardasee.

La Valle di Ledro è un vero paradiso per i biker con oltre 200 Km di bike tour segnati lungo strade forestali, percorsi militari, mulattiere e vie ciclabili per accontentare sia i biker più esigenti, con salite importanti e discese anche tecniche, sia coloro che scelgono la due ruote per una piacevole passeggiata in famiglia. Sicuramente Tremalzo è un must per i biker che desiderano provare un po’ di adrenalina, ma molti altri sono i percorsi che meritano una pedalata come la salita a Passo Trat o i tracciati verso Giumella e Stigolo, meno conosciuti e più selvaggi. La nuova ciclabile dal Garda all’Ampola attraversa la Valle di Ledro lungo il fondovalle e permette ai ciclisti di godere appieno della natura e del paesaggio che caratterizza la Valle di Ledro. La prima parte, dal Garda fino a Molina, è un po’ impegnativa per via del dislivello ma, dal Lago di Ledro al Lago d’Ampola, la ciclabile è adatta a tutti.Presso l’Ufficio Turistico è disponibile una mappa escursionistica – MTB e sul sito www.vallediledro.com è possibile scaricare le tracce di tutti i percorsi MTB.

Der neue Fahrrad Weg vom Garda- bis Ampolasee durchzieht Valle di Ledro den Talboden entlang und erlaubt den Fahrradfahrern das Tal ruhig anzuschauen und seine Natur zu genießen.Bei dem Fremdenverkehrsamt in Pieve di Ledro ist es möglich eine Wander und MTB Karte zu bekommen und auf der Web-Seite www.vallediledro.com sind alle MTB Trails zum downloaden.

The Valle di Ledro is a veritable paradise for MTB enthusiasts with over 218 km of marked itineraries along forest tracks, trails and old mule roads suitable to everyone from the beginner to those looking for the ultimate adrenaline burst. The climb to Monte Tremalzo is a must for any cycling fan. It can be done along a completely surfaced local road, which starts out from Lago d’Ampola and leads to the mountain pass. The new cycle path leading from Lago di Garda up to the Val d’Ampola crosses the whole valley and allows bikers to enjoy the landscape and villages of Ledro. At the tourist information office you can find a hiking and MTB map and from the web site www.vallediledro.com you can download all the MTB tracks.

Un nuovo anello per mountain bike che unisce i territori di Ledro, Garda, Monte Bondone e Monte Baldo. Ben 218 Km e 10 000 m di dislivello, dal lago di Garda a Tremalzo. Oltre all’anello principale che unisce le 4 vallate, in ogni territorio ci sono dei side tour che permettono di scoprire ulteriori percorsi mtb per tutte le gambe. Inoltre, strutture ricettive specializzate sono pronte ad accogliere i biker e le loro amate due ruote.

Eine gesamte MTB Tour von 218 Kilometern Länge und 10.000 Höhenmetern schlägt über Valle di Ledro, Gardasee, Monte Bondone und Monte Baldo. Dabei spielt sich gut die Hälfte der Runde abseits geteerter Straßen ab. In jedem Gebiet sind weitere Side Tour Bike Touren, wie die berühmte Tremalzo MTB Tour, und Bike Friendly Unterkünfte zu finden.

A new bike area formed by a mountain bike circuit that connects the territories of Valle di Ledro, Lake Garda, Monte Baldo and Monte Bondone, which may also be broken up into separate itineraries. The total length of this new circuit is approx. 200 km, 50% of it on dirt tracks, with a total ascent of 10,000 m. Each area also has more trails or alternative routes for all mountain or downhill bikes. These bikers will be able to turn off the main circuit and ride through sights of interest such as the famous Monte Tremalzo.

In Valle di Ledro kann man auch canyoning machen, ein Abenteuer, um das Tal anders zu erleben, um die verstecktesten Ecken, dank Rutschbahnen und Wasserfällen, zu entdecken. Canyoning ist eine neue Disziplin im Bereich des Alpinismus, die den Abstieg von Wasserfällen und Schluchten mitten in der versteckten Natur vorsieht und in Valle di Ledro sind sogar zwei, die Bäche, wo Canyoning möglich ist. Canyoning zu beschreiben ist schwierig, es soll einfach gemacht werden: Spaß und Adrenalin, in aller Sicherheit dank den Bergführern, sind versichert….

Paragleiter - paragliding

Um Paragleiter zu probieren, gibt es Tandem Flüge oder sogar Kurse um selbst zu fliegen oder, wenn man selbst fliegen möchte, gibt es auch einige Take-Off und Landeplätze.

In Valle di Ledro non mancano le possibilità di provare questa disciplina grazie al bi-posto o a corsi appositamente organizzati per avvicinarsi al volo. Vari sono anche i punti di decollo e atterraggio, che si differenziano per panorama e difficoltà tecniche.

If you want to try paragliding, you can choose between tandem paragliding with an expert guide or attend one of the several courses, that are organized in Valle di Ledro. Moreover, there are several take-off and landing points in the valley, differing in panorama and technical difficulty.

Sulle rive del Lago di Ledro vi sono i resti di un villaggio palafitticolo risalente all’età del bronzo, recentemente entrato a far parte del Patrimonio Unesco. La scoperta archeologica risale al 1929 quando il livello del lago è stato fatto abbassare per permettere la costruzione della centrale idroelettrica di Riva del Garda. Oltre 10 000 pali e numerosi manufatti sono venuti alla luce durante le varie fasi di scavo che si sono concluse con la costruzione di un piccolo museo e la ricostruzione, nel 2006, di un villaggio palafitticolo che mostra gli strumenti e gli attrezzi che adoperavano i nostri antenati. Il Museo, oltre a laboratori didattici per le scuole, organizza un programma di attività estive chiamato “Palafittando” durante il quale si costruiscono archi e frecce, si fa merenda con lo sciamano, si creano stoviglie in argilla, si scoprono i segreti della caccia e della pesca e molto altro ancora.

Wer sich für die Vorgeschichte interessiert, kommt im Pfahlbauten-Museum am Ledrosee, das im Juni 2011 in die Liste des Kulturwelterbes aufgenommen wurde. Vor über 4000 Jahren, gab es an den Ufern, eine große Ansiedlung an Pfahlbauten gebaut. Im Jahr 1929, als der Wasserspiegel des Sees, der zu hydroelektrische Zwecken für das Kraftwerk von Riva del Garda stark abgesenkt wurde, kam eine weite, mit über 10000 Pfählen versehene Zone zum Vorschein. Im Sommer, interessante spielerische Aktivitäten für eine hinreißende Besichtigung des neuen Dorfes und des archäologisches Gebietes werden veranstaltet: Waldrouten, Bogenschießen, Wettkämpfe, prähistorische Brotzeit, Plausche mit dem Schamanen, Konzerte, Aperitifs und viel mehr…

On the lakeshore of Molina, about 4000 years ago stood one of the most important pile-dwellings of the Alpine territory, which became UNESCO World Heritage in 2011. It was discovered in the autumn of 1929, when the level of Lake Ledro was appreciably lowered to supply the hydroelectric plant being built in Riva del Garda. As the level of the lake changed from day to day a forest of wooden piles came into view. The site was excavated and finds were exhibited in the Museum and in the new reconstructed village, where it’s possible to relive the prehistoric way of life. During the summer there are several activities for all ages: creative laboratories, shows, concerts and events.

Die Küche in Valle di Ledro ist der traditionellen Trentiner Küche sehr ähnlich. Es gibt aber auch einheimische schmackhafte Gerichte, die in keinem anderen Tal genießen werden können, wie z.B. die Kartoffelpolenta, die Peverà und die Caponec.Neben der Tiroler Küche, wurde die auch von der böhmischen Küche beeinflusst. Während der Exilzeit (1915-18) lernten unsere Großmütter, wie man Knödel und Kuchen tschechischer Art zubereitet.

La cucina ledrense è molto simile a quella trentina ma si differenzia per alcune specialità tra le quali spicca la polenta di patate che si può gustare in molte varianti in quanto non c’è un’unica ricetta. La cucina è stata inoltre influenzata anche da quella boema durante l’esilio della Prima Guerra Mondiale e in alcuni ristoranti è possibile trovare i golosi gnocchi boemi o le livanze.

Valle di Ledro offers specialties which are very similar to the ones of the traditional Trentino cuisine, but there are also some appetizing local dishes that you cannot taste in any other valley, such as potatoes polenta, peverà and caponec. Moreover, our way of cooking was influenced by the Bohemian cuisine. During the war exile (1915-18) our grandmothers learned how to prepare gnocchi and cakes according to the Czech cooking tradition.

Escursioni alla scoperta delle trincee della Grande Guerra, sia del fronte austriaco che italiano all’interno del programma “Settimane Natura”; mostre fotografiche e di reperti; numerosi eventi per ricordare il centenario della Prima Guerra Mondiale tra cui spicca la rievocazione storica dell’Esodo in Boemia il 23 maggio 2015, esattamente 100 anni dopo, quando la popolazione della Valle di Ledro fu costretta a lasciare le proprie case.Inoltre, lungo le cime della Valle di Ledro, dal Monte Cadria al Monte Cima d’Oro, è possibile percorrere parte del famoso Sentiero della Pace, che percorre il fronte della Grande Guerra.

Specific guided walks of the program “Settimane Natura” along the Austrian and Italian trenches; photo-exhibitions; and several events to remember the 100th anniversary of the First World War. Moreover, along the mountain ridge of Valle di Ledro, from Monte Cadria to monte Cima d’Oro, it is possible to walk the Friedenspfad, which runs along the former borderline during the Great War.

Besondere Wanderungen des Wanderprogramms „Settimane Natura“, um die italienischen und österreich-ungarischen Schützengraben zu entdecken; Ausstellungen und verschiedenen Veranstaltungen, um das Jubiläum Erster Weltkrieg zu erinnern. Den Bergkamm von Valle di Ledro entlang, von Monte Cadria bis Monte Cima d’Oro, ist es möglich den Friedenspfad zu wandern.


Un ambiente tranquillo, sicuro nel quale trovare divertimento e relax per tutta la famiglia. Numerose sono le attività e gli eventi dedicati alle famiglie con bambini, che non avranno nemmeno il tempo di annoiarsi durante la loro vacanza in Valle di Ledro: le escursioni guidate del programma “Settimane Natura”; il programma “Palafittando” al Museo delle Palafitte; le attività e le visite guidate della Rete Ledro che comprende, oltre alle Palafitte, il Colle Ossario ed il Museo Garibaldino, il Museo Foletto, i Centri Visitatori di Tremalzo e del Lago d’Ampola. Il lago è un enorme piscina in cui nuotare, imparare ad andare in barca oppure con la canoa. Lungo la pista ciclabile si possono raggiungere i numerosi parchi giochi, almeno uno per ogni paese. Molte strutture ricettive sono attrezzate per accogliere famiglie con bambini, offrendo loro specifici servizi e menu.

La Valle di Ledro durante il periodo invernale cambia i propri colori e il blu del lago ed il verde della montagna si tingono del bianco della neve. Un insediamento palafitticolo situato sulle rive del Lago di Ledro risalente all’età del bronzo, appena nominato patrimonio UNESCO. Un Museo che grazie a visite guidate, laboratori e attività permette di scoprire come vivevano i nostri antenati.

Eine Pfahlbauten-Ansiedlung aus der Bronze Zeit am Ufer von Ledrosee, die gerade Kulturwelterbe geworden ist. Ein Museum, um die Uhrgeschichte zu entdecken und, dank geführten Besichtigungen und verschiedenen Aktivitäten, zu erleben.

A pile-dwelling settlement on the shore of Lake Ledro dating back to the Bronze Age, that has been included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List. A Museum that offers guided tours, creative laboratories and other activities aimed at discovering how our prehistoric ancestors lived.

Terza Guerra d’Indipendenza e Prima Guerra Mondiale sono due fatti d’armi che hanno visibilmente segnato la Valle di Ledro e il suo territorio. Nel piccolo Museo in centro paese e sul Colle S.Stefano è possibile conoscere più da vicino la storia che ha cambiato il volto all’Italia.

Scavata nella roccia, l’antica strada che collegava Ledro al Garda, fatta costruire nel 1852 grazie alla volontà di Giacomo Cis, è ora aperta a biker e pedoni ed offre un panorama impagabile sul lago di Garda (passeggiata adatta a tutti).

Der dritte Unabhängigkeitskrieg Italiens und der erste Weltkrieg haben sichtbare Spuren in Valle di Ledro, ehemalige Grenze zwischen Italien und dem österreichisch-ungarischen Reich, gelassen. In dem kleinen Museum und auf dem Hügel Santo Stefano ist es möglich die Geschichte Italiens kennenzulernen.

Die alte Straße, die Ledrotal mit Gardasee verbündete, wurde dank Giacomo Cis 1852 gebaut. Jetzt ist für Biker und Wanderer geöffnet und bietet ein unvergesslicher Panorama auf dem Gardasee (Wanderung für alle geeignet).

Third War of Independence and First World War, two devastating events that left visible signs in Valle di Ledro, because of its geographical location on the border between Italy and the Hapsburg Empire at that time. In the small Museum in the center of town and on the S. Stefano Hill it is possible to get a closer look at the history of the Italian union.

The old road that linked Ledro to Riva del Garda was built in 1852 thanks to the determination of Giacomo Cis. Now it is open to bikers, hikers and walkers alike and offers a breathtaking view over Lake Garda (walk suitable to everybody).

The natural environment of Lake Ampola, a protected area in the western part of the valley, is very important because of its wide range of wildlife and aquatic vegetation. A boardwalk, just a bit above water level, allows visitors to admire the rich vegetation and water fowl and leads them to the visitors’ center where they can further discover this fascinating nature reserve.

Giardino botanico della Valle di Ledro riconosciuto in tutta Europa per le sue rare specie di fiori. Famosa meta per i biker e zona di alpeggio con verdi prati su cui, in estate, pascolano tranquille le mucche. Il valico di Casèt è un punto di passaggio per numerosi uccelli durante i loro viaggi migratori verso sud. Il nuovo Centro Visitatori per la flora e la fauna permette di scoprire l’ambiente di Tremalzo e le sue peculiarità, tramite un percorso scandito dal succedersi delle stagioni. Laboratori e visite guidate sono organizzate nei mesi estivi.

Tremalzo ist der botanische Garten von Valle di Ledro, der in ganzen Europa dank den vielen geschützten Pflanzenarten sehr bekannt ist und ein Muss für Biker aller Welt, die dies Ziel nicht verpassen dürfen. Außerdem, werden tausende von Wandervögeln vom Ende August bis Oktober am Passo Casèt beobachtet und beringt. Um die Natur und die Geschichte von Tremalzo zu zeigen, wurde ein Besucherzentrum, in dem die Umwelt von Tremalzo durch die vier Jahreszeiten vorgestellt wird.Aktivitäten und Besichtigungen werden im Sommer organisiert.

The botanical garden of Valle di Ledro, best known in Europe for several rare species of flowers, is also a well-known destination for bikers and an area of green alpine pastures used in summer for mountain grazing of cattle and sheep. Moreover, Passo Casèt is and an obligated passage for thousands of birds during their southern migration. To show the environment of Tremalzo, there is a Visitor Centre, where you can discover the area of Tremalzo through the four seasons.

Un piccolo museo che racchiude alambicchi, strumenti e pestelli appartenenti alla Famiglia Foletto, farmacisti in Valle di Ledro da più di un secolo. Inoltre, liquori, amari e sciroppi alla frutta tipici della Valle di Ledro, come il famoso Picco Rosso. Laboratori e visite guidate sono organizzate nei mesi estivi.

Ein kleines Museum, wo Ausrüstungen, Werkzeuge und Maschinen, die Geschichte des Labors Foletto seit dem 19. Jahrhundert erzählen. Zum Probieren auch die typische Produkte wie Picco Rosso, Magenbitter und Säfte aus Früchten. Aktivitäten und Besichtigungen werden im Sommer organisiert.

A small museum, where you find on display professional equipment such as pestles, mortars, laboratory instruments and other technical devises belonging to the Foletto family, pharmacists in Valle di Ledro for more than a century. Today, the Foletto Laboratory continues to produce their typical fruit syrups and liquors and the famous Picco Rosso.

Una piacevole passeggiata attraverso i boschi della Val Concei, da Lenzumo al Faggio con numerose varianti e lunghezze per passare alcune ore a contatto con la natura, immersi nella pace del bosco dove, con un po’ di fortuna, si può vedere qualche animale selvatico.

Es geht um ein angenehmer Spaziergang durch die Wälder von Val Concei, von Lenzumo bis Al Faggio, mit verschiedenen Varianten und Längen, um einige Stunden in der Natur zu verbringen.

A nice walk through the woods of Val Concei, from Lenzumo to Loc. Al Faggio with several different paths to choose from making it possible to spend some time in close contact with nature surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the woods. With a little bit of luck you may even come across some interesting wild game.

Ledro Land Art è la nuova tappa di un antico dialogo tra la creatività artistica e il territorio naturale, un progetto in progress che prevede l’inserimento annuale di nuove opere per un percorso di arte nel verde che si sviluppa nella valle di Ledro. In località Pur, lungo il sentiero che costeggiando il torrente Assat conduce a Malga Cita, il paesaggio diventa custode e interlocutore di lavori inediti.

Ledro Land Art ist ein neues Kunstproject, das Kreativität und Landschaft verbindet, ein work in progress, das jedes Jahr mit neuen Kunstwerken in Valle di Ledro sich entwickelt.Im Ort Pur, den Weg den Bach Assat entlang, wird die Landschaft das Museum im Freien von verschiedenen Kunstwerken, die Jedes Jahr mehr werden.

Ledro Land Art is the new step of an old connection between artistic creativity and natural environment, the start of a green journey, developed in Valle di Ledro.In Pur, along the path beside the torrent that leads to Malga Cita, the landscape becomes the guardian and house of several works of art, that increase every year.

Una cascata inaspettata, che sbuca dalle rocce alla fine di un profondo canyon formato nei secoli dal torrente Massangla. La cascata è raggiungibile in una decina di minuti dal Mulino dei Bugatini.

Ein versteckter Wasserfall, der aus dem Felsen am Ende eines engen Canyons sprudelt. Der Wasserfall ist nur zehn Minuten von dem Wassermühle Mulino dei Bugatini zu laufen.

A hidden waterfall, that comes out from the rocks at the end of a deep canyon carved out during the centuries by the fresh water stream Massangla. The waterfall is only a 10 minute walk from the water mill ‘Mulino dei Bugatini’.
