Lk 12,49-53 20. NEDELJA MED LETOM

Mislite, da sem prišel na zemljo prinašat mir? Ne, vam rečem, ampak razdeljenost.

Tisti čas je Jezus rekel svojim učencem: »Prišel sem, da vržem ogenj na zemljo, in kako želim, da bi se že razplamtel! Moram pa prejeti krst in v kakšni stiski sem, dokler se to ne dopolni! Mislite, da sem prišel na zemljo prinašat mir? Ne, vam rečem, ampak razdeljenost. Odslej bo namreč v eni hiši pet razdeljenih: trije proti dvema in dva proti trem; nrazdelili se bodo: Oče proti sinu in sin proti očetu; mati proti hčeri in hči proti materi; tašča proti svoji snahi in snaha proti tašči.«

Do you think that I have come to establish peace on the earth? No, I tell you, but rather division.

Jesus said to his disciples: "I have come to set the earth on fire, and how I wish it were already blazing! There is a baptism with which I must be baptized, and how great is my anguish until it is accomplished! Do you think that I have come to establish peace on the earth? No, I tell you, but rather division. From now on a household of five will be divided, three against two and two against three; a father will be divided against his son and a son against his father, a mother against her daughter and a daughter against her mother, a mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law."

Pensate che io sia venuto a portare pace sulla terra? No, io vi dico, ma divisione.

In quel tempo, Gesù disse ai suoi discepoli:. Sono venuto a gettare fuoco sulla terra, e quanto vorrei che fosse già acceso! Ho un battesimo nel quale sarò battezzato, e come sono angosciato finché non sia compiuto! Pensate che io sia venuto a portare pace sulla terra? No, io vi dico, ma divisione. D'ora innanzi, se in una famiglia vi sono cinque persone, saranno divisi tre contro due e due contro tre; si divideranno padre contro figlio e figlio contro padre , madre contro figlia e figlia contro madre , suocera contro nuora e nuora contro suocera ".

In jener Zeit sprach Jesus zu seinen Jüngern: Ich bin gekommen, um Feuer auf die Erde zu werfen. Wie froh wäre ich, es

würde schon brennen! Ich muss mit einer Taufe getauft werden, und ich bin

sehr bedrückt, solange sie noch nicht vollzogen ist. Meint ihr, ich sei gekommen, um Frieden auf die Erde zu bringen? Nein, sage ich euch, nicht

Frieden, sondern Spaltung. Denn von nun an wird es so sein: Wenn fünf Menschen im gleichen Haus leben, wird Zwietracht herrschen: Drei werden

gegen zwei stehen und zwei gegen drei, der Vater gegen den Sohn und der Sohn gegen den Vater, die Mutter gegen die Tochter und die Tochter gegen die Mutter, die Schwiegermutter gegen ihre Schwiegertochter und die Schwiegertochter gegen die Schwiegermutter.
