Cari Amici,sono da una settimana in ufficio dopo una permanenza di 10 giorni in Giappone.Credo di essere al 44° viaggio in Giappone quindi, capite, non ho più l’adrenalina del ritorno da un viaggio dall’altra parte del mondo, eppure anche questa volta sono tornato pieno di entusiasmo.

Il prossimo anno Roland DG Corporation festeggerà il suo trentesimo anniversario dalla fondazione e Roland DG Mid Europe festeggerà il suo ventesimo anno dalla sua fondazione.

Il 15 febbraio 1991 ho emesso la prima fattura di vendita in Italia per un prodotto Roland DG.

Noi Italiani amiamo celebrare ed i nostri amici giapponesi amano farlo più di noi. Pertanto il prossimo anno si è deciso di fare un grande “contest” a livello mondiale per premiare l’utente Roland più innovativo.

Voi mi direte: quale è la novità? Voi lo sapevate da oltre un mese ma questa iniziativa, partita molto più massicciamente dalla nostra Italia grazie alla splendida collaborazione che abbiamo con la comunità degli Artigiani Tecnologici ed al marketing esperienziale che ci contraddistingue ormai da diversi anni , abbiamo deciso che è meglio allinearla all’annuncio del contest a livello mondiale che avverrà nel 2011.

Pertanto il Roland Experience Day verrà fatto il giorno 11 marzo 2011, mentre il portale con le eccellenze degli utenti Roland verrà lanciato comunque entro settembre 2010.

CHE COS’è IL PORTALE DELLE ECCELLENZE è un modo per dare forte visibilità a tutti coloro che avranno i lavori esposti al suo interno.

Infatti PROMUOVEREMO con delle risorse specifiche postando all’interno di blog o forum di riferimento i lavori del portale e creando quindi un link tra un Artigiano Tecnologico che ha inserito il suo lavoro nel portale ed un potenziale cliente che VUOLE acquistare tale lavoro.

Ora siamo già alla prima release del portale ed abbiamo già caricato a livello sperimentale alcuni lavori. Sarebbe molto interessante per noi condividere lo sviluppo di tale iniziativa in totaleco-creazione con Voi.

Pertanto vorremmo che questo post, posizionato in questa discussione, sia l’inizio di una attività di Co-Creazione dove i suggerimenti reciproci tra Voi, i Rivenditori Roland, le Assistenze Tecniche Roland e noi, possano iniziare un processo per porre in piena efficienza questo nuovo concetto, chiaramente solo esclusivamente riservato a tutti gli Artigiani Tecnologici che posseggono una macchina Roland.

Roland DG Mid Europe sceglierà i lavori che verranno presentati al Roland Experience Day dell’11 marzo analizzando le opere presenti nel portale e terrà conto del livello di gradimento e capacità di generare business dai risultati riscontrati dal portale stesso.

CREDIAMO FORTEMENTE IN QUESTA ATTIVITà DI CO-CREAZIONE ed è nostra intenzione investire quanto possibile nella realizzazione e visibilità di tale portale, al fine di creare sempre di più un elemento eleggibile di business reciproco con cui sviluppare il nostro futuro.

Le cose belle che mi son capitate nel Roland Forum? La possibilità di condividere quello che sò e quello che ho senza gelosia. L’amicizia che si è creata con tante persone e quello che sono riuscite a darmi. Il fatto di poter vedere Roland come persone reali con le quali mi sono scontrato e riavvicinato chiarendo le mie e le loro idee. Devo confessare che quando sono fuori azienda ad installare, anche se torno alle 9 di sera e la famiglia mi reclama, non resisto: devo dare un occhio a questo maledetto/benedetto forum.

Which beautilful things happened to me with Roland Forum? The opportunity of sharing the things I know and what I have without jealousy. Friendship with many persons and what they could give me. The opportunity to see Roland as real persons with whom I clashed and reconciled, clarifying my ideas and theirs. I must confess that when I am of my company making an installation and come back home at nine in the evening and my family claims for me, I cannot resist: I have to take a look at this damned/blessed forum!

Les belles choses que j’ai vécu dans le forum Roland? La possibilité de partager tout ce que je connais et ce que je possède sans concurrence. L’amitié qui s’est créée avec beaucoup de personnes et ce qu’elles ont réussi à me donner. Le fait d’arriver à voir Roland comme des personnes réelles avec lesquelles je me suis disputé et je me suis rapproché en expliquant mes idées et en cherchant à comprendre leurs opinions. Je dois admettre que quand je ne suis pas au bureau à travailler, même si je rentre chez moi à 21h et que ma famille me cherche, je ne résiste pas: je dois jeter un coup d’œil à ce maudit / bénit forum.

Un tempo essere artigiani non significava soltanto usare le mani, la testa, il cuore per creare qualcosa di bello. Voleva anche dire andare a bottega per imparare da chi era più esperto, confrontarsi con altre persone che avevano la stessa passione. Quando sbagliavi, c’era chi ti guidava. Quando facevi bene, condividevi i tuoi risultati con gli altri. Nell’artigiano tecnologico una parte di tutto questo stava andando perduta. Forse le macchine hanno sostituito l’uomo anche dove non avrebbero dovuto. Con questo forum noi cerchiamo di riportare in vita quello spirito di condivisione, di recuperare la parte più umana e più bella dell’essere artigiani.

Once, being craftsmen did not only mean using hands, mind, heart to create something beautiful. It also meant going to the shop and learning from who was more expertise, comparing with other people who shared the same passion. When you were wrong, there was somebody to drive you. When you were right, you shared your results with others. Part of this was going to be missed in the technology crafftsman. Maybe machines have replaced the human being even where they should not. With this forum we try to bring back to like this spirit of sharing, recovering the most human and beautiful part of being craftsmen.

Auparavant, être Artisan ne signifiait pas seulement utiliser les mains, la tête, le coeur pour créer quelque chose de unique.Cela signifiait aussi aller dans l’atelier pour apprendre du plus expert, se confronter aux autres personnes qui partageaient la même passion. Si on se trompait, il y en avait toujours un pour nous corriger et nous guider. Quand on faisait bien, on partageait nos résultats avec les autres. Concernant l’Artisan en Technologie, une partie de tout cela risquait d’être perdue. Probablement à cause des machines qui ont remplacé l’homme même où elles n’auraient pas dû le faire. Avec ce forum nous cherchons à recréer cet esprit de co-partage, de retrouver le côté le plus humain et le plus beau d’être des artisans.

I contatti sono subito a portata di mano.

I have got a Buffetti show with a department specialized on Graphics & Print. I use Roland Forum very much as well as Social Networks like Facebook as information tool. In the Forum I found all the replies to my doubts and I could fix some printing problems, also. The exchange of ideas and suggestions is very useful. Also Facebook, if used wisely, can bring profit to the company. Contacts are within reach right soon.

J’ai une boutique Buffetti avec un atelier spécialisé en Graphique & Impression.J’utilise beaucoup le Forum de Roland et les réseaux sociaux (ex. Facebook) comme moyen d’information. Cercavamo nuove soluzioni da offrire ai nostri clienti. Avevamo un plotter, certo. Ma oltre a stampare banner e adesivi, volevamo qualcosa in più. Nel Roland Forum, semplicemente facendo quattro chiacchere con i colleghi, come si farebbero in qualsiasi bar d’Italia, abbiamo scoperto che alcuni proponevano ai loro clienti soluzioni di decorazione murale innovativa. Ci siamo scambiati così qualche informazione, discusso sui “trucchi” per come rendere migliori le stampe, condiviso le nostre idee e suggerimenti. E dopo qualche tempo, anche noi eravamo pronti ad offrire ai nostri clienti questo servizio in più.

We were looking for new solutions to offer to our customers. We had a plotter, sure. However, we wanted something more than printing banners and adhesives. With Roland Forum, just having a chat with our colleagues, as we would make in any bar in Italy, we have found out that some were proposing solutions for innovative wall decoration to their customers. We exchanged some information, talked about some “tricks” to improve output print, shared ideas and suggestions. Some time later we were ready to offer this added service to our customers.

Nous cherchions des nouvelles solutions à offrir à nos clients. Nous avions un plotter. Mais, en plus d’imprimer des bâches et des adhésifs, nous voulions faire davantage. Dans le Forum Roland, en faisant la causette avec les collègues, comme on le ferait dans n’importe quel bar d’Italie, nous avons découvert que certains d’entre nous proposaient à leurs clients des solutions de décoration murale innovantes. Nous nous sommes échangé ainsi quelques informations, discuté sur « les trucs » pour améliorer les impressions, partagé nos idées et nos suggestions. Et après peu de temps, nous aussi, nous étions prêts à offrir à nos clients ce service.

Un jour, au tout début de mon aventure de petit artisan, je ne savais pas comment m’investir dans un travail un peu particulier... un collègue m’a conseillé de m’inscrire au Forum Roland et de demander aux Artisans en Technologie du support à ce propos... au début mon scepticisme sur ce moyen de communication était assez évident... mais, uniquement par curiosité, et vu que j’avais besoin de suggestions sur mon petit travail, j’ai bien suivi ce conseil... En peu de jours j’ai compris que tout ce que je pensais des forums n’était pas valable dans cet espace... Le Forum des Artisans en Technologie Roland est différent... ici on peut parler avec des personnes qui ont leur nom et prénom, leur photo, et ne s’appellent pas Goldrake ou Mazinga... Il y a des Paolo, Maria et Pietro... où l’objectif n’est pas celui de prendre mais de donner, discuter, créer, partager et être unis; Support, ce mot clé est un des fondements de ce forum. La chose la plus belle, et je crois que ça vaudra pour tous les AT, est de voir le post de l’usager que tu as aidé, qui te remercie et te dit “grâce à ton aide, mon client a été content du travail que j’ai remis...“C’est comme ça qu’un lieu virtuel dévient un lieu où des personnes, et pas des usagers, s’échangent des expériences de vie de travail pour grandir ensemble!

Un giorno, durante l’inizio della mia avventura di piccolo artigiano, avevo dei dubbi su come procedere con un lavoro un po’particolare... un consiglio arrivato da un collega è stato quello di iscrivermi al Roland Forum e chiedere agli Artigiani Tecnologici supporto in merito... Diciamo pure tranquillamente che il mio scetticismo su questo strumento era abbastanza evidente... però, per non saper ne leggere ne scrivere, e visto che avevo bisogno di alcune dritte ho seguito il consiglio... In pochi giorni ho capito che tutto quello che pensavo riguardo ai forum non vale in questo spazio... Il Forum degli Artigiani Tecnologici Roland è diverso... qua parli con persone che hanno il loro nome, la loro foto, e non si chiamano Goldrake o Mazinga... Ci sono i vari Paolo, Maria e Pietro... dove l’obiettivo non è prendere ma dare, discutere, creare, condividere e essere uniti; supporto, questa parola chiave è una delle fondamenta di questo forum. La cosa più bella, e credo che valga per tutti gli AT, è vedere il post dell’utente che hai aiutato che ti ringrazia e ti dice

I must admit that my skepticism on this tool was quite evident... however, I decided to follow this advice... In a few days I understood that everything I thought abot forum is not valid in this case... Roland Technology Craftsmen Forum is different... here you talk with people who have their name, they do not call themselves Goldrake or Mazinga... Il forum Roland per me è stata una grande scoperta. Mi ha dato la possibilità di confrontarmi con nuovi colleghi, stringere delle nuove collaborazioni per lavorazioni che non ero in grado di poter fare e di stringere nuove amicizie. Il valore aggiunto del FORUM, secondo me è che, non ti lascia mai solo! Vi è mai capitato di lavorare il sabato e la domenica? Immagino di si. Vi è mai capitato che una macchina si ferma e vi segnala un errore sconosciuto, che un file faccia le bizze o che non riuscite a trovare quel vettoriale che in quel momento vi farebbe molto comodo? Anche questo immagino di si. Beh! Io il più delle volte sono riuscito a risolvere i problemi attraverso il FORUM, senza dover aspettare un tecnico per la macchina, senza dover far notte dietro ad un file che non si voleva aprire o che non si trovava! Grazie alla CONDIVISIONE degli altri utenti/colleghi si possono risolvere anche i problemi più ostici. E poi volendo si può anche socializzare e scambiare due chiacchiere, giusto il tempo per staccare 5 minuti dal lavoro.

Roland Forum has been a great discovery. It gave me the possibility to compare myself with my new colleagues, join new cooperations and new friendships. The added value of the FORUM is that it never leaves you alone! Did it happen to you to work on Saturdays or Sundays? I guess you did. Did it happen to you that a machine stopped and showed an unknown error, that a file had some problems or that you could not find that vector file which would be necessary to you? I guess you did, as well. Most of times I could fix problems through the FORUM, without having to wait for a technician, without having to stay awake all the night trying to open a file that I could not find or open! Thanks to the SHARING with other users/colleagues, even the hardest problems can be fixed.Moreover, it is possible to socialize and have a chat, just the time to stop for five minutes from work.

Pour moi, le forum Roland a été une grande découverte. Il m’a donné la possibilité de me confronter avec des nouveaux collègues, trouver des nouvelles collaborations pour des travaux que je n’étais pas en mesure de faire seul et de lier de nouvelles amitiés. La valeur ajoutée du FORUM, selon moi, est que tu n’es jamais tout seul ! Vous avez jamais travaillé le samedi ou le dimanche ? J’imagine que si. Il ne vous est jamais arrivé qu’une machine s’arrête et vous signale une faute inconnue, qu’un fichier ne marche pas ou que vous ne réussissiez pas à trouver ce vectoriel que vous cherchiez à ce moment-là ? J’imagine aussi que si. Bon, la plupart des fois, j’ai réussi à résoudre tous ces problèmes à travers le Forum, sans devoir attendre un technicien pour la machine, sans devoir travailler trop tard dans la nuit en suivant un fichier qui ne s’ouvrait pas ou qu’on ne réussissait pas à trouver ! Grâce au partage avec les autres usagers, ces derniers peuvent résoudre aussi leurs problèmes les plus compliqués. Et si on veut, on peut aussi socialiser et parler, juste 5 minutes pour se distraire du travail quotidien.

Dopo circa un anno di forum, da neofita che ero, sono riuscita ad aprire un anno e mezzo fa il mio laboratorio digitale con successo e grande soddisfazione.Fisicamente sono da sola ma ho dentro 4 mura una grande famiglia: i miei fratelli e sorelle del Roland’s forum… in testa a tutti il mio GRANDE PAPY ROMEO al quale debbo metà del mio successo!Dopo notti di valutazioni e confronto pareri con chi era più esperto di me nel settore, ho scelto un plotter Roland perché aveva un valore aggiunto: LORO!Dopo una veloce lezione sul plotter (essere a me sconosciuto) le uniche persone a cui ho chiesto consigli ed aiuti sul suo uso sono stati i miei colleghi ON-LINE.Il primo grazie per affetto e per riconoscenza va al Papy digitale Romeo e subito appresso gli altri a pari merito, staff Roland compreso ovviamente! Après un an de forum, en considérant que j’étais complètement nouvelle dans cet espace, j’ai pu ouvrir il y a un an et demi mon laboratoire numérique avec beaucoup de succès et une très grande satisfaction.Physiquement, je suis toute seule mais j’ai avec moi une grande famille : mes frères et sœurs du Forum Roland... avant tout, mon grand papa Romeo auquel je dois la moitié de mon succès! Après beaucoup de nuits d’évaluations et de comparaison des idées avec des plus experts que moi dans le secteur, j’ai choisi un plotter Roland parce qu’il avait une valeur ajoutée: EUX!Après une formation rapide sur le plotter (que je ne connaissais pas du tout), mes collègues on-line ont été les seules personnes auxquelles j’ai demandé des conseils et de l’aide. Non è un Forum come tanti dove si ritrovano degli appassionati di una marca d’auto, di elettronica, di cucina, di animali ecc che si trovano sul Web.Il Forum AT è molto di più,è un punto d’incontro tra incisori,stampatori digitali, serigrafi,wrappatori,grafici che decidono di “condividere”.Condividere è la parola chiave nel Forum che “HA FATTO LA MAGIA”. Nel Forum ci si confronta e ci si aiuta indipendentemente dall’età,dal lavoro svolto,dal grado di esperienza maturata in un determinato settore,non ci sono limiti,perchè come il mondo che ci circonda anche il Forum AT è bello perché è vario.

It is not a Forum as many others where fans of a car brand, electronics, cooking, animals, can gather one another, as you can find on the Web.AT Forum is more than this, it is a meeting point among digital printers, screenprinting, wrappers, graphic designers, who decide to “share”.Sharing is the keyword of the Forun, which “CASTED A SPELL”. It took us out from our labs, made us get together and meet sometimes,and turned competition into sharing, allowing us to exchange what we could and, as in a big family, somebody brought experience, somebody else brought his/her own ideas (even crazy) , somebody brought questions, mistakes, and so on.Everything is shared to grow together.Within the Forum we compare and help one another, regardless age, job, experience matured in a certain field; there are no limits because, as the world around us, also the Forum is nice because it is various.

Ce n’est pas un forum comme les autres où se rencontrent des passionnés d’une marque de voiture, d’électronique, de cuisine, d’animaux, etc. qui se trouve sur le Web. Le Forum AT est davantage, c’est un lieu de rencontre entre des graveurs, les imprimeurs en numérique, les sérigraphes, les poseurs, les graphistes qui décident de «partager». Partager est le mot clé dans le Forum qui « fait de la magie ». Il nous a fait sortir de nos laboratoires, il nous a tous réunis, il nous a fait aussi rencontrer certaines fois physiquement et a transformé la concurrence en co-partage en nous permettant de grandir, en échangeant chacun de nous ce qu’on pouvait et, comme dans une grande réunion de famille, il y a qui ont apporté leur propre expérience, d’autres leurs propres idées (même folles), d’autres leurs questions, d’autres leurs propres fautes, le tout partagé pour grandir ensemble.Dans le forum, on se confronte et on s’aide indépendamment de l’âge, du travail fait, du degré d’expérience mûrie dans un certain secteur, il n’y a pas de limites, parce que comme le monde qui nous entoure, même le forum est beau parce qu’il est varié.

é una storia che parte da molto lontano: moltissimi anni fa, da ingegnere meccanico neolaureato neoabilitato e pieno di boria come tutti i giovani ingegneri dell’epoca (ma non sono migliorati col tempo) avevo fatto un bellissimo progetto che ho mandato in officina per la costruzione. Dopo un po’ mi si presenta sogghignando il capofficina, uno Jugoslavo mio coetaneo che parlava un italiano abbastanza improbabile (ma era un drago sul lavoro): “Tu disegnato molto belo (bello) crocco (accrocco)! Ora spiega dove Giovanni metta chiave per stringere bullone!”Io ho imparato la lezione allora, e il forum mi riporta a quell’esperienza. Ho imparato nel campo attuale più dai colleghi del forum che dai corsi e dai seminari. E cerco di dire la mia sempre senza boria o presunzione.Concludo con una massima che coniai poco dopo l’episodio sopra raccontato: “L’abuso dei titoli serve soprattutto a nascondere l’arroganza e l’ignoranza di chi ne abusa”.

It is a story starting long time ago: many years ago, as a newly-graduated mechanical engineer, haughty as all the young engineers of that time (who, however, did not get better over the time), I had made a very nice project that I sent to the workshop so to be realized. After a while, the boss of the workshop (a man from former Jugoslavia, who talked in a poor Italian but he was a real “dragon” at work) said to me: “Your drawing is very beautiful but now, please explain to Giovanni where he has to put the spanner to tighten the screw bolt!” I learned the lesson then and the forum brings me back to that experience. Actually, I have learned more from my colleagues in the forum than from trainings and seminars. And I try to express my opinions without arrogance or conceit. I close with an aphorism that I thought after the above mentioned episode: “The excessive use of titles is mainly for hidding the arrogance and ignorance of those we use them too much”.

C’est une histoire qui remonte à un passé lointain: il y a quelques d’années, j’étais diplômé ingénieur en mécanique, certifié et gonflé d’orgueil comme tous les jeunes ingénieurs de l’époque (mais ils ne sont pas améliorés dans les années) et j’avais fait un très beau projet que j’ai envoyé à l’atelier pour la construction.Après peu de temps le chef d’atelier vient me chercher en ricanant, un yougoslave du même âge que moi, qui parlait un italien plutôt improbable (mais il était un dragon au travail). «Tu dessiné très beau ! Maintenant explique où Giovanni met la clé pour serrer le boulon!»J’ai retenu la leçon et le forum me ramène à cette expérience-là. J’ai appris dans mon domaine actuel davantage par mes collègues du forum que par les cours et par les séminaires et je cherche à exprimer toujours mon opinion sans peur d’être arrogant ou présomptueux.Je conclus avec la maxime que j’ai inventé après l’épisode que je viens de raconter. «L’abus des titres aide surtout à cacher l’arrogance et l’ignorance de ceux qui en abusent».

Perché quello che ricevo è sempre molto di più di quello che io posso dare.Ormai fa parte della mia giornata, appena ho un’attimo vado a dare uno sguardo. Il Forum è il mezzo con il quale stò crescendo professionalmente. Mi da la forza per andare avanti, di credere sempre in ciò che faccio anche nei momenti di scoraggiamento.Non ho avuto ancora il piacere di conoscere nessuno di persona, ma è come se fossimo una famiglia, dove si discute, ci si incavola, si cresce insieme.I love Forum.

When I get up in the morning, as first thing as soon as I get to my office, after having blessed God because he gave me another day of life, I switch on the PC, check my e-mail box and at the same time I open the Forum to see new messages, posts, to help somebody if I can, and most of the times, to be helped. Because, what I receive is always much more than what I can give. Now the Forum is a part of my day, as soon as I have got a while, I give a glance at it. Forum is the means by which I am growing up from a professional point of view. It gives me the strength to go ahead, to believe in what I do also when I feel discouraged.I did not have the pleasure to meet anybody in person but it is like if we were a family where we discuss, quarrel and grow together. Quand je me lève le matin, la première chose que je fais dès que j’arrive au bureau , après avoir remercié Dieu qui m’a donné un autre jour de vie, j’allume le PC, je contrôle les mails et en même temps, j’ouvre le forum pour voir les nouveaux messages, les nouvelles discussions, pour aider où je peux, pour avoir de l’aide la plupart des fois. Parce que ce que je reçois est toujours davantage par rapport à ce que je peux donner.Désormais ça fait partie de mon quotidien, je jette toujours un coup d’œil toutes les fois que je peux le faire. Le Forum est le moyen à travers lequel je suis en train de grandir professionnellement. Cela me donne la force pour continuer, pour croire toujours en ce que je fais même dans les moments les plus difficiles. Roland Forum has been my first experience of sharing in web 2.0 but, beside a mere exchange of suggestion of advice about materials, applications and workings before a screen, it has become a human reference point even with people who hidden themselves behind the various nick and avatar. Well, a perfect cocktail of technological craftsmanship friendships.
