What shirdi saibaba expects from his true devotees during their shirdi trip ?

Saibaba is the sweet saint who resides in our heart and he really is the crown jewel amoungsaints because he fulfills a devotees materialistic and also spiritual needs. He treats every devoteebased on their likes and dislikes and guides them based on their past karma, charecter andunderstanding of life. Why i always mention him as "Shirdi" saibaba because to me shirdi saibaba isthe sadguru ( True Guru -its very personal attitude ). I decided to write this article for shirdi saibabadevotees who wish to travel to shirdi.

Everytime i travel to shirdi, my experience has been different but i had felt the presence of shirdisai always in my heart which means one has to remember what sai said " Let the world go topsyturvy, You be where you are and remember me alone" . So when you are in shirdi also, pleasesurrender all your senses under sai's feet, drop all your desires,wishes,worries and pains in life alongwith the single rupee of coinyou drop in dakshina box. Thats it. Just remember sai sai sai......

When you are back from shirdi, there must be a trasformation in your heart. Your faith unto saimust have increased thousand folds . How can you expect a change in your life if there's no change in

your mind. sai lives in your mind. Hence i wrote this article. Please read further about the feelings,emotions and loveof this little servant of sai for this beautiful saint saibaba of "shirdi"...

Shirdi - Our saibaba selected this small village and it became a garden of divinity :

" Shirdi " What a beautiful name ? . Every time i speak about sai to a stranger , i add the wordshirdi and say " I love shirdi saibaba " He is my Sadguru,sweet heart,friend, philosopher,guide and lifeitself. Shirdi saibaba is a way of my life.

In 1854 a boy was found meditating under a Neem tree at an aprox age of 16. When a little boyof 16, has chosed to go to a very small village in the indian state of Maharastra in Ahmednagar district, little did the shirdi people realized that he is going to pull millions of devotees every year to thisvillage in the years to come. I read somewhere that when sai first went to shirdi, it was a village with

just 80 mud huts.

The boy sat meditating under a Neem tree and practiced yoga and penance not minding theweather conditions. Why should a little boy suffer so much ? Now a days shirdi sai devoteessometimes get angry on baba even if something they prayed for doesn't happen. Why should wealways see baba in the form where he looks old. Imagine a 16 year old boy who later turned out to besaibaba of shirdi.

Saibaba has sacrificed his life right from childhood :

To become the saibaba of old age whom we respect , adore and depend on for our own welfare,this little boy has worked right from his birth and childhood. Sixteen is really young for someone tohave started his spiritual journey. Am sure this little boy has practicedmoreright from his birth thanthe first time he was seen under a Neem tree in shirdi village.

You would have seen little boys working in hotel,workshops and factories.Some times i feel pityfor this little kids. Simililary saibaba of shirdi has started working hard, hurted himself by practicingmeditation, clean habits,keeping his mind pure etc right from his child hood. Why should this little boylead a perfect life and later known as saibaba pull millions of devotees to him and bless them withgood health, peace and prosperity.

There are people who say 100 stories about what sai did before he was 16. Just one clarification.Its easy for us to do researchand discover past of sais life or tell stories that you imagine but saihimself din't liked to reveal what he was accept for one fact that he revealed when Nandadeep ( aplace in shirdi where 5 lamps were burning under the surface - now there are 2 trees and a lampburning 24 hours to signify the importance of babas gurus place ) was dug, sai accepted its his Gurusplace where he practiced and learn a lot from his Guru for 10 years.

From 1854 to 57 , the kind hearted boy who loves gardeningcarried water pots from a well onhis own shoulders , near the Neem tree ( present site of samadhi mandhir ) , for creating and tendinga garden. Saint Gangagir Maharaj, on seeing him at his work, said that shirdi was blessed with thepresence of this gem. In 1857, the boy disappeared from shirdi village and re-appeared to remain

there permanently, with the marriage party of chandbhai's nehew. The priest of Kandoba temple wasthe one who first welcomed him as "Aoa Sai "..meaning welcome sai.Hence the boys name became"saibaba".

Shirdi - Sai lives every where and his samadhi mandhir is in shirdi :

The 16 year old boy would have chosen any other villages .Why did he chose shirdi ? Is it a holyplace or does the boy know that invisibly its a spot where three holy rivers are merging ?. I always getthis thought in my mind. Why did this little boy chooseshirdi to live in. Sometimes we friends wish shirdi must have been a bit close to coimbatore so that wecan go there very often but when i think hard, sai would have chosen shirdi for he alone knows that is

the right place in this holy country to spread the message of humanity, to guide millions of devoteesto lead a good life, to bless millions with good health,education,food,clothes,shelter,good career,marriage,children and long life.

Lets remember what baba has said . "Don't think this body of 3 cubits and six feet is all what iam.I will be present everywhere in this universe and when a devotee calls me with pure love, i appearinfront of him in some form and bless him. I need no doors to enter.l lived in insects, ants and dogs. "I changed the quotes as above is what i remember now but basically lets understand though babalives everywhere, his samadhi is in shirdi and since sai babas holy feet has touched and kissed the soilof shirdi, going to shirdi and staying there is the most beautiful thing that can happen to shirdi saidevotees life.

Baba, i love shirdi so much. Its my gift that in August 2007, i was fortunate to meet relatives offew people who lived with sai. I also like to talk to people living in near by villages of shirdi. likepuntanbe. They are very kind hearted. I gave saree, bangles to few elderly Marathi women, fell intheir feet and got ashirwad because my mom always says its really worth to get blessings fromwomen.

We must thank this little boy who selected shirdi as his place to live rest of his life becauseirrespective of the commercial impacts that shirdi is facing today, a devotee who remembers sai saiand sai alone will certainly see only sai in shirdi. Shirdi sai temple is the best thing that can happen inmy life.The colourful shops selling baba statues, baba photos, stickers , baba calenders,saibooks,Dvds, big hotels,affortable to costly foods and devotees from all over the world etc can'tdistract a true shirdi sai devotees heart. Shirdi is really powerful. The vibration in shirdi will remain the

same for a sincere sai devotee whos heart thinks only sai sai and sai.

Remember sai sai sai during the time you spend in shirdi :

When you go to shirdi, don't be distracted by the maya of shops,hotels and other devoteeslooks,talks etc. When a holy place gets enormous numbers of devotees it becomes a tourist spot thana pilgrimage. You can't expect all who come to shirdi to behave properly and politely. Thousand thingswill happen in a crowded place but let your body,mind and speech be surrendered to sai , sai and saialone. Sai is a light. His form as statue in samadhi mandhir is to fill your heart with the happiness ofdarshan but the real sai is residing in your own heart. So please realize the sai who lives in your ownheart. sai himself has said "My abode is your heart ".

Cut away the darkness of maya and light the lamp of this sweet saint shirdi saibaba in your heart.My friend, you can't go to shirdi just because you got tickets . It is sai who wants to see you.So hehas called you. Living in your heart, sai has given you a desire to go to shirdi. See how beautiful thissweet saint is. See how much he loves you that he wants to see you. For all that sai has done to pullyou to shirdi, let us do a simple thing as a gift to sai.

Sai doesn't want your money or clothes .Sai doesn't need your donation. Sai doesn't need yourstatus. Poor or rich, educated or uneducated all are same to sai. The only thing sai wants as gift fromhis true devotees is "rememberance" - Please please please....don't hurry that you must stand in que,do this ,do that, buy statues, don't be wavering, don't involve in unnecessary talks with your parentsand friends, relatives. You can speak and joke but let it also be good talks which might evenenterntain sai. Even if you get into worldly affairs or your own worries, try to come back toremembering sai sai and sai alone.

How to Remember shirdi saibaba during your entire shirdi trip :

Simple. Chant sai sai sai...sai sai sai....sai sai sai.....it takes a little more than one second to say itthree times "sai sai sai" . Imagine how many thousands or lakhs of times you can chant "sai sai sai" ifyou start chanting sai sai sai right from the moment you start your journey to shirdi. Its ok if you wantto make fun with friends or family members but make sure you never hurt anyone.For me also,a bad habit is thinking about my desires, my past,future,pains and sufferings i faced in lifeetc. I wonder why i always worry so much when sai has said "why fear when i am here" . So again itry to chant "sai sai sai" or any of sais good chantings like

"aum sri sri sai jaya jaya sai""shirdi sai dwarakamai""aum sri sai ram"

How can you let your mind get distracted either with wordly affairs or with your own pains andworries. Try your maximum to remember sai sai and sai alone in shirdi.

Switch on the chanting box in your heart :

I recommond chanting " sai sai sai"....sai sai sai...sai sai sai.....because its simple , easy and evenwhen you are distracted , don't wory about it. There's a button for sai in your mind. Just simply switchon that button and it will start to chant

Sai has assured that when ever his devotee with pure mind says "sai sai sai" and surrender all hissenses to him, his/her past sins will be burnt like ashes in the dhuni and they will be free of debt forthe sins they did in past births. Gradually their bad time will go away leading them to good times

when shirdi saibaba's blessings will reach them.

Vow.....Cummon....isn't this a simple solution for all of us shirdi saibaba devotees. Simply sayingsai sai sai.....Its not rocket science...I have a sister who is a research scientist , supports me in all my spiritualdeeds.She says she prays just 5 minutes everyday and gets back to her work while i do nothing in lifeother than prayers ( he ...he ...he ) .May be baba knows i had done so much of sins in my previousbirth. So he pulled me to his service for few years and am sure someday he will show me a way formy career .

Listen to saibaba Bhajans,Saibaba songs in any shirdi sai temple :

When ever you go to any shirdi Sai temple , Sai mandhir please have the habit of singing saibababhajans, listen to sai bhajans and try to imagine saibaba in your heart,shirdi saibaba songs ,saibabaarathi or easy method of chanting sai sai sai.My only request is never have pride that you have abilityto sing babas songs.If you surrender your ego to sai, sai will keep you like his own eyes

You have rights to expect from shirdi sai but sai has rights to make use of your time and life forwelfare of humanity :

I really feel pity for people like me who say they always remember sai but theres no change intheir life. just imagine what i must be doing in 2007 when am going to be 29. Should i not be workingsomewhere and make my parents happy. On the other hand , the past 3 - 4years my life itself is allabout printing posters of sai with good quotes of humanity, distributing it as gift to good sai devoteesi see in temple, where ever i go, when people say me their problem, i ask them to give food toanyone poor, give clothes, light as many lamps as possible.........why am i doing all this. I am sure saiknows when to take and when to give. All these years baba has "taken" from me and i always believea time will come when he "gives" a gift for the little that i have done. I don't expect anything fromanyone because when sai is there and when i am his child why should i care about life. I know my lifeis safe in babas hands. What ever change happens in my life must come directly from this sweet saintshirdi saibaba who is my love, light and life.

The reason i wrote about me in above para is that not all of you will have situation ,parents andsister who are supportive irrespective of my being parents worried about me, their love for me letsthem leave me in sais path. Some of you might be worrying a lot why sai hasn't helped even after somuch of pure devotion. Try this one simple remedy. Always whole heartedly chant "sai sai sai" nomatter where you travel or what you do. If your mind is totally surrendered to sai , sai will surely fulfill

your basic needs.

Habit of "giving" to poor during shirdi pilgrimage :

Many thousands of devotees donate to shirdi saibaba someway or other. Its one way to clear ourprevious lifes debt. Remember, if you have donated a lot , don't be proud of it. You have so much ofsins to clear off. Thats why sai made you do it.

My personal belief is to "give" directly to poor people whom you can see in villages. All of us areliving a fast life where shirdi trip means just a one day stay at shirdi. So many sai devotees can't catchup with my habit.

My habit is , to buy few sarees,bangles, print few shirdi saibaba photos and give it to villagepeople who live near shirdi and get their ashirwad.

You can give anything as per your ability. Make sure it will satisfy needs of village people. Youcan get some note books, pens etc and give to kids. All you have to do is search for someone whodeserves it. You must spend atleast half a day to go to right place and meet right people who willaccept your gifts whole heartedly.

There are lots of people near dwarakamai and chavdi .You can give them but imagine..howhappy sai will be if you take 2 hours to travel or go in auto 2-5 kilometers, speak to some villagepeople and tell them you have 5-10 sarees, note books,pens whic you wish to give to the kids

there...I don't know if its practically possible for all of you. By babas grace, i was able to do it whenever i go to any temple i love....Sometimes i give saree to poor women sells lamps andflowers,sometimes i get permission from elderly women , give it traditionaly, get ashirwad from them.

All i can say is, When ever you go to any good temples, purchase atleast for 1000 rupees ..somethingworthy to give to people in need. It will gain you enormous blessings.

Trust me, don't think "Giving" is easy. Sometimes, when i have given baba photos to sai devotees, they will think am selling it and show angry face to me. I try maximum not to get hurted .Make sure

you choose right village women to give saree and get blessings. Don't make a crowd to gather aroundyou near temple complex...When ever you want to give stuff, choose to travel to deep villages.Onlyvillage people might be poor and they will have needs of your gifts.

Accomodation,hotels in shirdi - shirdi hotels, shirdi lodges ,shirdi saibaba sansthan :

For Gods sake, don't get irritated as soon as you get down the bus in shirdi. A guide will followyou for 2-3 minutes asking if you need help in accomodation. If you think, he speaks well, accept hisoffer or just walk to any one and ask where is "sansthan office". Shirdi saibaba sansthan isprofessional as far as i know. They guide devotees properly.

The shirdi saibaba sansthan maintains few dormitaries and sansthan hotels where you can stayfor 48 hours and more than that by permission. I am not sure about their tariff. I once stayed indormitary where they charged 200 rs for 2 days and gave back 180 rupees. For Rooms, it could bemore say around 100 to 300 rs ( am not sure ).During season times, its hard to get sansthans roomsand dormitary.

There are various hotels .All you have to do is walk a little in the roads away from chavdi andnear prasadalaya. If you have less baggages better walk and chose a lodge by yourself. If you dontlike, never feel shy to choose a better one. Its 2007 when i write this and now the tariffs during non-season range from 300 Rs - 400Rs - 600 Rupees most common and upto 3000 . During season timessome lodges which charge 400 rupees per day will charge you 2000 rupees perday for same room. Itsa commercial world and shirdi too is not an exception. High season could be during December end,Summer holidays etc.

Pray shirdi saibaba to guide you and help you find peaceful accomodation, and bless you withgood food :

I just want to guide devotees as many worry too much since they feel its new place. I always saythem Never fear that its new place and you dont know language. Just light a lamp in your house ornear by temple asking shirdi saibaba to help you travel and stay at shirdi peacefully, surely sai willhelp you. When i went to shirdi first time on march 30th 2006, i went from Mumbai in a bus. As soonas i got down at 3.45 am early morning, few guides asked me to come along with them. I stood thereblinking for few seconds. Don't know what made me walk away.I just saw few devotees walkingtowards a road, bend down to shirdi soil, applied it on my forehead and just walked behind them. Idont even know where they were going. Suddenly i saw sansthan office , enquired a security andasked them for dormitary.

They said office will open little later..I directly kept all my bags in a cloack room, took bath and

went to Kakad arathi. I sat little far from babas samadhi but i never expected that i will make it tokakad arathi being a new comer to shirdi . The best part is i never worries about bags in cloak room. Ivisited dwarakamai , chavdi and then cooly took bags, got accomodation in sansthans dormitary andstayed there 2 days. see its all in faith. If you love sai and want to see baba, he will take you happily,keep you happily in shirdi and come with you to yourhomeand leave you at your place safely.

I love Nandadeep in shirdi :

Just select a good hotel or lodge based on your ability, try to stay there atleast 3-5 days.Everyday do what ever you wish to do. You can either go to samadhi mandhir once or twice and visitdwarakamai , the mosque where sai lived and chavdi once and then sit in good place to read saisatcharitaor speak about sai, light lamps which baba loves most, sit near Nandadeep and meditateor if you are young walk 2-3 kilometers in pimpalwadi road to see sivanesan swamiji ashram. Alwaystry to remember sai., chant sai sai sai and say all your worries to baba and speak to him wholeheartedly in your mind. The more you remember and be in shirdi with thoughts of sai, the better yourlife will be after shirdi visit.

A dream vision about Future of Shirdi and fame of my sweet saint saibaba of shirdi :

On january 1st 2007, i got a dream about how shirdi will be 100 years from now. Trust me , onethird of the world population will atleast have a photo of shirdi saibaba in their house. Thats whatbaba showed me in that dream. Now you can calculate the changes shirdi is going to face in the yearsto come to welcome and accomodate several lakhs of devotees each and everyday. What i write

might be wrong for the time being but to me sai's dreams are words from himself and i trust it asreality.

The first day of year 2007, i got a dream from sai. Its october 9th 2007, trust me, i din't achieveanything professionally all this year. I spent all this year coming around temples in the name ofserving sai ....he he . What can i do ?. I don't know what else to do and sai also seems to say"Venkat. Just be with me, i will take care of your future "

This is how my life goes and today finally i wrote about the little village my sweet saint haschosen to live. Baba i love shirdi and i love you more for selecting shirdi as the place of your life andsamadhi.

Its a gift to listen to the priests singing Arathi in Baba's samadhi Mandhir,Babas face will bevibrant , expressive eyes and a very very beautiful smile as if a Mother is happy when she meets herloving child after a long time, Baba's face glowing with five wicks lamp and their voice singing Arathimerges hearts of devotees with sai's soul.. Trust me, its sai himself in reality.

When the statue was installed in 1954, Laxmibhai and others who lived with sai had tears of joy asthey said its exactly like saibaba .

Baba let shirdi saibaba sansthan Priest, staffs and securities be blessed souls . Let them serveyou with truth and honestly like what they are doing past several years. We all must thank the shirdisai baba sansthan for maintaining shirdi saibaba mandhir complex cleanly and beautifully. For thecrowd that comes to shirdi, their hard work must be appreciated.

With so much of love on shirdi soil which my sweet saint's holy feet has touched !

Be a deserving devotee of shirdi saibaba :

When you come back from shirdi, if your friends asks what did you offer to sai. Make sure youdeserve to say the following words

" I gave my heart to sai and got his heart for me " .

Our mind is filled with desires, wishes,pains and worries. It also bears all our past bad karma and badthoughts. Whats the use of living with our mind. Lets try our maximum to deeply analyse every aspectof sais life and there by make our heart like his. No one can be like my shirdi saibaba. He is the SUN .The only one SUN for this universe but certainly we all can become "Stars"

Places to see in shirdi :

Samadhi mandhir of shirdi saibaba :

A devotee by name Buti built a wada during babas life time itself called Buti wadaand he wished to have Lord Krishna's statue installed there. Later it became theSamadhi of Shirdi saibaba. Baba always said he is servant of God but friends, thefact that the place reserved for Lord Sri Krishnas statue became his samadhiproves us that he is really an Avatar. Sai's ways are unique and even in hissamadhi he has conveyed a beautiful message. "Never say who you are. Let thetrue devotees perceive you what ever way they wish to worship you.If you see saias a saint, if you see him as an Avatar.

To go to samadhi mandhir, you have to stand in a long que.Some timesduring high season , you might have to wait hours. Dont feel bored. Chant sai saisai...think about babas leela and stories. surely your time will pass soon. TheKaakad Arathi is approx at 5.30 Am, Noon Arathi at 12 approx , Evening arathi for

baba is approx 5 to 6.30 Pm and shej arathi is at approx 9 to 9.30 PM. I haveseen thousands of devotees always concerned about going to Samadhi mandhir,few of them to dwarakamai and Chavdi and fewer to Nandadeep. Pleaseremember all places in shirdi are as important and worth worshiping as saibaba'ssamadhi mandhir.

Dwarakamai of saibaba :

Saibaba lived in this small masjid for over 60 years during his life time inshirdi. Baba calls it as "Dwarakamai ". Sai says the one who sits on her lap will befree from all calamities. Baba used to collect dakshina from devotees in this

dwarakamai .Imagine those beautiful days during babas life time when devoteeswould have came to see him,they can touch his feet, do abishek to him,showarathi to him and get Udi - sacred ash from his powerful hands itself.

The best thing i love about sai is the Dhuni ( ever burning sacred fire ) keptin Dwarakamai. I had come around dhuni in Nagasai mandhir several lakhs oftimes the past 3 years. So i love dhuni soooooooooooooo much. May be thatswhy i love to light lamps also. You can drop ghee in Dhuni in dwarakamai.Whenyou do a offering in dhuni remembering God, it directly reaches God. Spiritually, italso means you are burning your unwanted desires, bad thoughts, bad attitudes,bad habits , ego,pride ,lust etc inside the sacred fire and sai also burns your pastbad karma and blesses you with good health, peace and prosperity.

Chavadi of Shirdi saibaba :

Baba used to stay alternate nights in chavadi. Its a beautiful small placewhere devotees are allowed to sit for few minutes. So i love this place so much.

Gurusthan - The Neem tree where baba first appeared :

I feel really touched to see the same Neem tree where baba sat in 1854which is still alive in 2007 ......vow...its the only "LIFE" which still can happily say,i have see "saibaba" . Gurusthan is just behind samadhi mandhir . Its the sameNeem tree ( Margosa tree ) where baba appeared in shirdi as a 16 year old boy.Theres a padukas of sai installed in this place. Now the sansthan has beautifullyrenovated Gurusthan.

Lendi baug - Garden & well :

This is the Garden which sai maintained during his life time. There is a well inthis Garden where sai used to take water for the plants.

Nandadeep : Little Dattatreya temple and Samadhi of the horse shyam karna

Please please please.....In evening time, Get lamps from a women who sellslamps opposite to Dwarakamai, bring it into temple complex, ask where isNandadeep, theres a tray where you can light lamps. So light lamps because baba

loves it. Nandadeep is a place where you can see two trees and in the centretheres a small temple inside which Lamp will be glowing all through the yearforever. . During babas life time, shirdi people discovered a hole, dug it and founda celler where 5 lamps were burning. Baba told them its his Gurus place where hepracticed penance for 10 years and asked them to take care of the place.

Theres a small Dattatreya temple and samadhi of babas favourite hourseShyam karna. In the temple complex you can also get blessings from Samadhi ofBaba's devotees Abdul Baba , Nanavalli , Bhau Maharaj and Tatya.

Kandoba temple :

Lord Kandoba is the village diety of shirdi people .It was there even beforebabas arrival.Its Lord shivas form.Its a bit away from Temple complex. Pleasevisit this place.You can go by 5 minute walk. The speciality of Kandoba temple isthat, its the first place where baba returned to shirdi and while he got down frombulluck cart, the priest of kandoba temple welcomed him "Aao Sai" "welcome sai".Thats how my sweet saint got his name as "Sai baba" where Sai means saint andBaba means Father.

Walk in Pimpalwadi road :

The above places are must visit. But have you seen shirdi as village whenbaba lived. You cant see it now because it has become a big town crowded withthousands of devotees. Here comes a tips from Venkat....He he he......No one willask you to do it but i wish youngsters who stay ion shirdi for more than a day tryto walk atleast 2 kms in pimpalwadi road from shirdi...The reason i love to walk inthis road is that we can feel how sai would have walked , talked and laughed toshirdi people. I don't know how long the scerinity of shirdi will be preserved butlucky us .In 2007 i am still able to see some grenary. Baba let there be sometrees and plants in shirdi. We dont need just hotels and shops . We also need to

feel your holy place as it was when you lived......Thats my request to sai.

Location of Shirdi - How to reach Shirdi :

Shirdi is a town situated in Ahmednagar - Manmad State Highway No.10. In

Travel to Shirdi by Train :

If you want to reach shirdi by train, you can book tickets to a railway stationsin following places.once you decided , search for indian railways official websiteand see trains which runs from the place of your choice to the following railwaystations.

1. A town called Kopargaonsituated 16 kilometers from shirdi. Train stopsvery few minutes here and quota to reserve tickets to kopargaon and from

kopargaon might be less as its a small station.There are trains from bangalore ,solapur etc which halts in shirdi for few minutes.I am not sure about exactdetails.Please have a look at the indian railways official website.

2.The nearest Railway Junction isManmadsituated approx 55 kilometers fromshirdi. Few trains travel from Mumbai to Manmad station.

3.You can also come to Puneby train and from there take a bus to shirdi .Puneto shirdi bus journey will be approx 6 hours.

Travelling to shirdi from Bangalore, Mumbai and hydrabad :

If you are in Mumbai best way is to travel by bus.It takes around 7 to 8hours.Mostly buses will start in the evenings. From Bangalore and Hydrabad thereare many trains and Bus. Some travel agencies offers package of both travel andaccomodation in shirdi.

Travelling from south india - Tamilnadu :

If you are travelling from south india like coimbatore ,you can shift train frombangalore which halts in kopargaon. What we used to do is take ticket inLokmanya tilak kurla express to pune from coimbatore. Theres a small station

calledDaund before pune where we get down, take a auto to a smalljunction.From there we take bus to Ahmadnagar and from Ahmadnagar to shirdi.Idont recommond this for elderly devotees. If you get down in daund, instead ofpune, you can save 3 hours of train journey..The bus journey from daund will beapprox 5 - 6 hours.

Mostly, devotees prefer shifting trains in bangalore so that they can landupdirectly in Kopargoan. From there they take a 20 minute auto ride to shirdi . If

you get down in pune railway station, the bus journey to shirdi will be approx 6hours.I dont have idea about trains from chennai.

Return journey from shirdi :

Shirdi has numerous travel agencies which runs bus even to far away places likeAhmadabad ( 780 kms ), Bangalore and hydrabad. If you are staying in shirdi andwant to go back either to mumbai or pune for your return journey, better booktickets for bus a day before. Usually we book return tickets from Pune railwaystation, so we travel in bus from shirdi to pune for 6 hours. If you can get trainsfrom Kopergoan or Manmad to your place , you save the time of bus journey. Inshirdi, the santhans temple premises itself has a counter to reserve to and frotrain tickets to travel any where in india.

Solapur junction : Akalkot Maharaj samadhi and Pandharpur

If you wish to visit other temples like Pandharpur ( 282 kms from shirdi ) and

Akkalkot swamijis samadhi ( Akalkot is 345 kms from shirdi ), you can booktickets to solapur or travel by bus to sholapur and get darshan of pandurang ofPandharpur and samadhi of Akkalkot Maharaj. Don't plan to go pandharpur if yourtravel time is less.Its really far from shirdi.

Nasik : Triyambakeshwar and Panchvati

For Lord shiva devotees , the most important place to visit isTriyambakeshwar.You can arrange a small van or car from shirdi for one day rentand travel to Triyambakeshwar .It took 33 years to built this temple and its oneamoung 12 jothir ling sthal of Lord shiva. The way from Shirdi toTriyambakeshwar and from there to panchvati is such a scenic place. It will be sobeautiful if you go in a good season. Good rituals are done by purohits inTriyambakeshwar.Sometimes it will be crowded.

Panchvati darshan has few temples like Kala Ram temple ( Kala ram temple ismentioned in sai satcharita ) , Gore Ram temple, Kabaleshwarar temple, LordMurugan temple and in the end has river Godavari .Close to River Godavari is asmall Shirdi saibaba temple. When we left shirdi and came for a Triyambakeshwarand panchvati, our hearts were remembering sai . Suddenly the guide took us tothis little baba temple .I felt touched when i saw this beautiful baba . Panchvatimeans group of Five Trees. It has a cave where Sita devi worshiped lord shivainside a cave. It was really a wonderful feeling to go visit the cave where Ram

and sita lived while they were in jungle. If you are interested in travelling to nearby places to shirdi, Tribakeshwar and Panchvati can be covered within frommorning and by evening you can be back in shirdi.

Saibaba of Shirdi - The great Indian Saint lives forever and ever

Saibaba of Shirdi was first seen as a Young lad of approximately 16 years of age in theMaharastra state of India in a small villagecalled Shirdi. When Saibaba had his Mahasamadhiin 1918, thousands of his devotees were worried that they won't be able to see saibaba , touchhim and speak to him. Saibaba has assured that he will surely be alive and active even from hissamadhi. To some devotees saibaba appeared in dream and asked them to continue the Arti inthe samadhi mandhir and offer flowers to the samadhi. To some devotees saibaba requested tosend shawl ( cloth ) to be offered over the samadhi.

From 1918 to 1930's the number of devotees who comes to have darshan of shirdi saibabasamadhi and his dwarakamai went from hundreds to as low as 5 devotees a day. Few ofsaibaba's close devotees felt like many other saints saibaba's fame also has come down afterhis samadhi.

It was in the year 1936 when Narasimha swamiji discovered a Guruin saibaba dedicated hislife time in the service of saibaba, that sai movement became famous once again. One of my

greatest inspiration for Sai seva is Narasimha swamiji because his life story is so beautiful that ittook 18 years for Narasimha swamiji to get a guru like our shirdi saibaba.

I lovethat painting because baba will be smiling as if he is happy to see me. I will stand in adjacentto the left side wall and stare at this beautiful baba painting with smiling face. I love baba somuch because everyday he seems to say something to me, he seems to say how happy he is tosee me and how good my future is going to be. I see him as a friend and love. Theres no onehappy moment in this birth than looking at this beautiful painting where shirdi sai sits under atree with his usual pose of keeping right legs over left. The best part is the painting.

Deep dark sharp eyes of Shirdi saibaba :

Shirdi sais eyes according to me is embedding several crores of devar , sidhar and good angels.Thats why mere Darshan of shirdi saibaba can bring unknown peace and joy in our hearts.During babas life time, some devotees will go to dwarakamai with pride and prejuduice in theirmind. Some will say i wont bend and do pranams for a poor fakir. The moment they see babasface, they forget their senses and fall in his feet. I have spent several days and nights in my life just looking at shirdi saibabas photo. I see hiseyes...i see babas eyes. i see my sais eyes. I start to get tears of joy because i know 1000percent sure, when we see baba with love, he looks at you and he seems to speak to you. Likeyou want to hug him and fall in his holy feets, he also wants to hug you and express his lovefor you...

Many times i never regret to go to Nagasai mandhir with shirts that wont have button or whatever crap. To me a servant of sai must experience what ever sai has experienced. Theresnothing wrong in being simple and sai also loves it. I love saibabas turban a lot. sometimes ifeel its better to see sai with turban always than with golder crown. We call him "sai maharaj"but in reality sai is so sweet , poor and humble. He says am waiting for my devotees darshanas much as they want to see me. To him rich and poor devotees or same.

Satisfy yourself in your pilgrimage to shirdi :

I must tell you a good incident. While we were at shirdi in 2006, we saw few devotees goingeasily with vip pass for samadhi mandhir darshan and we had to stand in long que. What wefelt painful was few vips were allowed to enter from the door adjacent to babas statue. We feltthey were lucky to see baba standing so close for a long time. When we came out and told thisto a sai devotee, he asked us a simple question.....

"They all saw baba for a long time standing close to the statue but did you realize if baba sawthem or not ? "

What i mean to say is, please dont think only if you stand close to saibaba statue in samadhi

mandhir, it means sais blessing is with you. Lakhs of people comes to shirdi everyday . Howcan all of us stand close to statue in samadhi mandhir or how can we spend long time indwarakamai ? Just remember this. For a true affectionate devotee, no matter how far you standor how little time you saw baba, baba has seen you. Trust me, Baba has seen you. Even if youare standing admist huge crowd and even if you are sitting behind a pillar or sitting in last rowof samadhi mandhir darshan, baba has seen you. I have seen many books and international websites writing biography of our shirdi saibaba as ifhe is a scientist or philosopher. I understand theres nothing wrong in writing shirdi saibaba (approx 1838 to 1918 ) but common, He is a saint who never wanted to disclose his past at all.Its easy for us to do research to find where shirdi sai was born and what he did for his first 16years before he was seen as a boy meditating under a neem tree in the village of shirdi. Why

should sai decide that its better not to disclose his past. Probably because one of the mainreason of his avatar was to unite people of all religions. If he discloses his past and associatehim either with hindu or muslim parent it could deviate from one of his important goal which isto unite people of all religions.

As far as i know sai has given only one clear information about his past in sai satcharita. W henshirdi people were curious to know about past of sai, Due to Kandoba blessings ( a village diety)a was possessed by Lord kandoba and told asked them to dig a hole under a tree. The holelead to a cellar and five lamps glowing which is now named as Nandadeep. The village peopleturned to sai and asked about this 5 lamps which were glowing. Baba was not interested ingathering a crowd. He dispersed them saying this is his Gurus place where he practicedpenance and learnt a lot from his Guru for the first 10 years of his life. Even now Nanda deep is

my favourite place in shirdi saibaba santhans samadhi mandhir complex.

There is another spiritual reason why shirdi sai never disclosed his past life. Shirdi sais age cantbe determained. The soul of shirdi sai has taken many avatars. So the real age of shirdi saibabacould be lakhs of years. I know few who read this will call me a fool. There are reasons i havethis attitude because baba dint just say that all saints are one.

He once mentions clearly to a devotee who wants to go to Akalkot. baba says "Why go to

Akalkot.That Maharaj is now in shirdi and this is his place now". There are many instanceswhere sai says to a purticular devotee as this "I am watching him and caring for him past 700years " ...The beautiful way to describe sais previous birth relationship with us is through thiswords he spoke " i know my devotees for 64 generations"

Shirdi saibabas guru - Vengusa :

Shirdi saibaba has said to few devotees and shirdi people that his Gurus name is Vengusa. Iunderstood this could be a saint who did tapas in Thirupathi hills.( theres no proff for this frommy side...one of very good servant of sai, living in shirdi gave this info to me ) RememberThirupathi before 200 years in early 18th century would have just been a huge jungle .Sindharsalso lived in Thirupathi . so lets not relate that to thirupathi of present days. So in August 2007,when i went to Thirupathi , i was chanting " sai vengusa....sai vengusa ...sai vengusa..." it wasreally helpful as i got a good vision while i was at thirupathi which i will treasure all life. I reallydont know why sai din't gave much details about his Guru also during his life time.

May be his guru himself dont want to deviate devotees from hold of sai. May be his Guru knows

sai is capable of understanding and doing good to devotees than sending them to his Guru.Even if you learn about shirdi sais Guru, do do your prayers to sais guru. At the same timeremember the avatar of shirdi sai is very unique and am sure babas guru himself wants us toremember, worship and serve shirdi saibaba. So lets remember babas guru when we are inNanda deep in shirdi and pray babas guru to give more powers to sai and also increase ourshradha and saburi ( patience and faith ) on sai...

All this and more reasons are there why shirdi sai never gave proper answer to anyone whenasked who are his parents and what was his past. Sai wants us to focus whole heartedly on oneguru with out using our knowledge. I mean, why should we be inquisitive about past andfuture. Baba himself knows whats happened in past and in future too.At times baba says whats

the use of telling the whats going to happen in my devotees life in future .Nothing is going tochange . If something is supposed to happen, it will surely happen because karma is nottransferable. we have to suffer for our past deeds in this or previos birth. So what can save us.Only our faith and unconditional love and patince untill shirdi saibaba comes down to give ushis hand and help us can protect us.

Coconut Lamps is All Natural Lamp and Most powerful :

The little earthern lamps made of mud is considered very sacred .I have habit of lightingvarious lamps past many years but only in the month of september 2007, i suddenly gotinterest in lighting coconut lamps.Every day , i used to get a Coconut from Nagasai mandhirand light coconut lamps all night infront of Shirdi saibaba, Garbarakshambigai , A sai satchartiabook, Lord Murugan and Thirupathi. I will do prayers only for 20 to 40 minutes. Then i will startmy work and pour oil or ghee once in a while to let the coconut lamps glow untill the early

morning of next day.

Its always good to light any lamp in mornings or evenings but shirdi sai has no rules.I get timeonly during night times and also like the idea of letting the lamps burning all night and it willalso be there in early mornings of next day. Gradually i experienced the power of Lightingcoconut lamps. It really gave me a peace of mind.

If we think nicely, we will realize the other lamps has something artificial to do with it. Only thecoconut lamps are all natural. So i felt its really powerful as nature has a beauty and sacrednessof its own.

How to make Coconut Lamps :

I always take real care when ever i ask you to do something. Please do not light coconut lampsif you don't know how to break coconut or if you are not sure if you can take care of the lampglowing all the next 5 to 6 hours. Make sure theres nothing near the coconut lamps or in thatroom which can catch fire...i mean keep the tray of coconut lamps infront of God and makesure everything else is kept in safe distance.

1.Take a coconut and break it into two halves.I dont know how people abroad breaks coconuts.I have "Aruvaal" in my house...he he...For sai's sake please take utmost care when you breakcoconut .Its really better if you get two good halves so that you can pour Ghee or oil in itand light lamps.

2.Try to find a big ever-silver plate or tray and you must have somelittle things to hold thecoconut from sliding in sideways...I usually keep three earthern lamps on the plate and inbetween keep each half of the coconut so that it wont fall side ways. Then apply Kumkumorsacred ash you have on four sides or coconut.

3.My Guru says always better to useGhee to light coconut lamps. I used ghee and sometimesOil. If you light coconut lamps only to please the Moon God, you can use Coconut oil but i have

not tried it myself.

4 . Join 2-4 small cotton wicks and make it thick....Place the wicks in each half of coconut.

5.Keep the tray of coconut lamps or shirdi saibaba statue or shirdi sai photo in any place of

your convinence in a safe distance.

6. Light the lamps and now you can see the beautiful coconut lamps glowing our sai's face.

7.Offer water or milk or any of our favourit sweets,fruits , food to Shirdi saibabaand praywhole heartedly. You can read few chapters fromsai satcharitaor recite shirdisaibabaastothram,mantra or sloka of any god or Goddess you love. The coconut lamps will glow forlong time even 6 hours .So make sure you always take care of it. Be careful when ever youlight lamps and don't allow children to play with it.

Pray to Mood God and Shirdi saibaba to give your strength of mind to face your life. PrayGoddess Saraswathi to bless you with concentration and Pray Mahalakshmi to bless you with all

Coconut Lamps on Monday and Thursday :

You can light coconut lamps on any day you feel like. If you want to please Moon God its goodif you light coconut lamps on Monday morning from 6 AM to 7 AM. Its called "Chandran ooraitime" and i really dont know meaning of it. Mondays are days auspecious for Moon God andThursday for Guru - Lord Dakshinamurthy. So light coconut lamps on these days to gain Godsblessings.

Giveup ego, pride,unwanted desires and lust - Only then your prayers will be answered :

Friends, I always wanted to spread little things that children of sai can do to gain blessings ofGod. I really don't know if what ever i write are useful for you or not but atleast rememberprayers has powers and someday your prayers will be answered. 1.Udi mixed with water :

Apply udi in forhead and areas paining in the body.Give them Udi ( sacred ash ) mixed withwater .Udi is the most powerful medicine.Baba has cured hundreds of devotees during his lifetime by giving udi and now millions of devotees who trusted udi are being benefitted. You canget Udi from shirdi or any shirdi sai temple near by.Baba has done miracles to many devoteeswho consumes this sacred water

2. Pray sai to charge water with his rays of blessings :

If you live abroad where its hard to get Udi , alternative way is to ask someone who is nearthem to hold a can of water praying sai to bless the water with his powers to heal the pain andmake them drink it. I usually have the habit of keeping a glass of water in front of sai photoand drinking. Even if i buy medicines for my parents, i keep it under shirdi sais feet and givethem.

3.Visit temple, Light lamps - Do prayer at your house :

Please try to visit near by temple, Light lamps, do annadhan or any kind of good activities asper your ability and give the prasad to the person who is suffering. If theres no temples nearby, Light candles or lamps in a tray under babas feet, do any offerings of fruits etc to sai andgive those as prasad.

4. Keep sai satcharita near the person being treated :

Where ever you live, Please atleast take a print out of online version of sai satcharita and give itto the person who is suffering. Its ok if they can't read it. The presence of sai satcharita isenough. Baba knows whom to pull to that room and make them read or sai can even make thesick person read.

5.Speak about shirdi sai leelas, stories and incidents :

Always speak positively about the powers of shirdi saibaba .If possible tell them stories of yourfriends, relatives or those you find in sai satcharita or the miracles of devotees experiences youfind in this site.Tell these stories of how baba helped and cured diseases . Tell them baba doesno magic.All powers of healing is in their mind because baba is "Antar Vaasini - The one wholives from inside" . If their mind is filled with saisthoughts, if they always utter sais name andif they call sai sai sai for help, Surely sai will heal them .In addition to this ask them to be calmand be have patience .Sai will help them someday.

6. Chanting "sairam" - Any mantra :

Many sai devotees have experienced the presence of sai and his miracles when they remembersai by uttering his name regularly. It will be nice if you say sairam for hours togather or atleasttry to chant when ever your mind remembers that you are supposed to do chanting. You canchant in following ways - "sairam" , "Aum sri sai ram" , "shirdi sai dwarakamai" "Aum sai sri sai

jaya jaya sai"

When baba lived he encouraged Naam saptah for 7 days without break.We must atleast do itonce in a while everyday.When person getting treated remembers sai sai sai, evil forces wontattack them .If they are in worst situation , You can do it on their behalf.You can also chant anymantra of your favourite God .I suggest Hanuman mantra as Lord Hanumanjis blessings cangive them will power and strength. Try to visit temple of Lord Danvantri whos blessings bringsgood health & Lord Vaitheeswaran who cures diseases .Mantra of these God can also be readregularly.

7.Play shirdi saibaba song or arathi :

If the person suffering is at home, please let them hear or see arathi of shirdi saibaba if youhave cds.This will create positive vibration at home.This could be a silly point but my intentionis to remind you that its really powerful.

8.Try to involve in any good humanitarian work :

If possible, try to do Annadhan , clothes or blankets to poor orphanage etc. Make sure theorganisation you choose to give is using your things and money truthfully. I prefer avoiding bigcharity organisations because many are there to fund them.Find the deserving really needypeople and say "sairam" when you give. This is what sai wants from us.Giving in the name ofsai is powerful. It will was away sins of your past birth. Dont spend lavishly all of a sudden.Even when you give as dharma give as much as you can afford.

9. Baba likes when you pray whole heartedly :

Some people think about other problems and other people watching them in temple etc whilepraying.When you pray there must be no "Wall" between you and sai. Express yourself to saiwith your hands, with your legs and body.Trust me baba likes it. Dont cry purposely but if youfeel like crying dont feel shy. sometimes sai uses our tears to wash away past karma. Manymany days i had hugged baba photo and crying like child.I was in such unbearable pain in few

issues and i know sai made me do it. When you pray looking at photo or statue of shirdisaibaba, just remember sai .When you close eyes imagine baba sitting in dwarakamai neardhuni and blessing you.If you love baba so much , i assure you can see him talking to you.

The below article is wrote for devotees facing worst health problems and based on myunderstanding of sais ways.Forgive me if there are any mistakes .

Perceive pain , disease and suffering with health problems in positive ways :

When body is not functiontion properly, it sends singal to the brain so that you will treat it andthis signal is what we call as "Pain ". As we all know there's some good even in a bad thing,many disease will never be treated if you dont get pain or any other symptoms which hurtsyou. Apart from the benefit of helping you to get treated and bring your body back to goodcondition every time you get sick or your loved ones are diseases please do not feel let down asthere's another positive aspect when they are suffering.

"Their past bad karma is being washed away "

What is karma :

What made me launch this site.Its my karma.You are reading. Thats your karma. If you findwhat ever i wrote is wrong and write me negatively , then i must bear that mail calmly as a giftof sai. Thats my karma. While we are standing in rocky sea shore, we can hear sounds of bigwaves splashing but the big waves are formed out of various small waves which we dont hear.Similarly every small act we do is karma and these karma collectively get either to be a big badkarma or a good karma. Who knows what sins we have done in our present or previous births.sometimes we might have done sins unknowingly but the Law of nature ticks perfectly like a

clock without missing a second.No excuse for any one for any reason.

As you sow, so you reap :

Loss of life is for body .Our soul is always living untill takes several births , involve in goodkarma and finally merges with God.Thats why soul is called "Amar Atman". Its ever living.Though you or your relatives, friends would have not commited any sins in this birth, their soulwould have commited a sin in previous birth. The collective bad activies of previous birth will bewaiting for the right bad time based on the planetery situations to attack you. Its like a "payback"..You did an action in some birth and now you get the reaction. The reason i write thispara is first to help you understand do not blame God and our shirdi saibaba just becausesomeone you love met with an accident or suffering from disease. What ever our soul did isrecorded in air. Its every where. My guru used to say that highly evolved spiritual people cansee their own karma infront of their eyes and act accordindly. Thats why they dont mindsuffering.

Every bad word we utter, every insult we do to others , every curse we get and every singleharmful acts of ours is recorded both in air and our own soul.

so when we suffer , we must realize ,we had planted a sinful seed which is reaping a painful

Frustrated and worried since shirdi saibaba din't helped you yet ?

My objective has always been to help devotees who are facing in worst possible situation in life.

A husband suffering from cancer, a wife suffering from uncurable disease, a small baby facingworst medical situation, a son or daughter who has gone through an accident, a father ormother struggling for their life. I am addressing these children of shirdi saibaba whom saiconsiders as his affectionate kids.

I can feel the pain residing in your heart when you or your loved ones are suffering at home orin hospital. When something wrong happens suddenly, we dont know how to react. The mostcommon feeling that arises in us is "why din't sai help us even after all this ? ". If he is a saintwho has astama siddhi why cant he come down to your call and heal the pains of your friendsand relatives immediately. The reason is ....

Karma is not trasferable :

I must explain you something very beautiful about how sai works to save his children . Babaalways says he is humble servant of God.Even God of Gods love him because our shirdi sai isnot like mordern Gurus whom you see on tv promising instant benefits.

Our shirdi sai follows the Laws laid by Gods and Nature. Though sai himself is God incarnate,when we worship him as sai , he is a saint .Even Lord Rama had to suffer pains when he tookthat avatar and was controlled by laws of nature. Shirdi sai's situation is same. One of babasassurance is "Keep all your burdens on me and i am ready to bear it " .

Baba only says keep your "Burdens". Baba never said "Keep your karma on my shoulder and i

shall bear it" . Baba dint said it because the Laws laid by Gods and Nature doesn't allow sai todo it and he can't. Neither sai or any saint or holy Gurus can do it. Our karma must be bearedby us, payed back by us for which we must go through sufferings and when we suffer thekarma gets washed away. Please don't get frustrated or worried that sai is not caring for you.Sai does. He is trying his best. Its your time to face pains and soon sai will bless you with gooddays. No matter how much you try , you cant escape the effects of karma.

Shirdi sai can reduce the intensity of karma :

For what dam reason, a saint so polite with not a trace of ego asks you to always say " sai saisai sai " .Does that mean he is proud of his name or he thinks you have no other work to do.When you remember "sai sai sai ", the evil spirits which uses your bad time to attack you willstay away.Though even this cant help you completely escape karma, Instead of a worst headinjury which could damage brain, you could escape with very small scratches on the body.

The natural feeling of dejection when you are suffering :

Sai is a saint.He cares for us . He knows what ever is going on in your family. He knows theone suffering in pain crying to him. Do what ever you can to please sai but never ever say"baba whats the use in worshiping you , i never get results " . This feeling is natural for

anyone.My only request is don't let this feeling of dejection grow in you. Infact, by saying thisyou are embarrassing your own sweet Guru shirdi sai. Surely you will get results as per yourdevotion and the little dharma you do like giving food to hunger, clothes to poor or any goodactivity can please sai and help you wash your karma someway resulting in better health.

Baba do you really care for me ?

I know you pray this way. Only devotees who depend on sai and love him to core will ask him"Baba, do you atleast care for me one minute ? " Are you worried thinking why sai has nothealed the pains yet ? If thats making you doubt if sai atleast cares for you , heres the proof.....

Shirdi sai loves you irrespective of what he does for you. The results you see infront of youreyes are just momentary.Again you might get into another problem and come to sai for help.The pleasures and pains is like a pendulam taking us on ride every other day butis "results"given by sai the only way you judge his love on you.

The very fact that you came to this site in your painful state of mind and read about what thislittle sai's servant like me wrote is a proof for sai's unmeasurable love on you and your dearones. Dependancy on shirdi saibaba cannot become affection :

You can always complain that he is not helping you but dont make your complaints survivemore than 5 minutes. The next moment start to realize how much sai cares for you, if he haspulled you to him. Baba always says "Its not people who comes to see me and follow me by

being an devotee, Its me who choose good souls and pull them to me like a sparrow tied tothread. "

To a saint who pulled you to him with affection , is it good if you expect blessings like business.Sai is not selling blessings.His caculator doen't have numbers.It has the nine forms of Bakthiand beyond all this sai only expects your affection on him. Dependancy cannot becomeaffection. when you depend on sai for a materialistic benefits, you only see him as a "Giver" ofthings and not a loving sai ma. Do we love our mother only for what she is doing for us. Its theaffection that our mom has on us which had registered in our heart.

similarly lets togather perceive sai as a loving and caring mother who is trying his level best tobless us with healthy living.

Practically speaking sai devotees don't have time to understand sai :

I have seen people coming to few Saibaba mandhir with a deal. "Baba i will come to temple 7thurdays , i will light candle, pay 100rs for Annadhan and sit for arathi and go , please help meget this and that " .....Deal is a deal. Baba has to do it. Because these devotees consider babaas saint sitting there with powers and all he wants to do is switch on a button and every thing

A sparrow pulled by shirdi sai when he was over 60 years old :

Its my habit to give baba photos to anyone anywhere sometimes even in bus or roadsides if ifind that person is good.I never feel shy to give baba photos in odd places. sometimes whenpeople say NO also i will take it as sais gift though its a bit hurting...Once i gave baba photo to60 year old man while sitting in bus who asked me "who's this ". I was surprised as that oldgrandpa even was wearing rudraksh and seemed to be leading a spiritual life wearing a saffrondress. I wondered how he dint know about our shirdi saibaba all these years. I felt gifted.

Atleast after 60 years baba has pulled a new sparrow to him through me. Am just aninstrument but the happiness i got matters.

Baba alone knows why you and your friends or relatives are going through such sickness anddisease. Baba has been following you for 63 generations as he mentions in sai satcharita. Evenin our previous birth we would have worshipped the same sai when he was living in form ofsome other Guru. I cant reveal the age of shirdi sai and i wont but sais life is beyond one lakhof years. If someone calls me fool for writing this, i apologize for mistakes and humbly keeptheir comments under sais feet. Sai has followed the one suffering in health problems in all his

births . Sai knows the mistakes and sins we did in past births .so sai is tied by truth of karmabut his heart melts when we totally surrender to him and when our devotion and faith increases, sai will do any thing to save us.

Shirdi sai has been showing you motherly love for several births you took :

If our mother in this birth loves us so much , imagine how much should sai ma care for you ,the one who has always kept his eyes on you and cared for you birth after birth. He would havefollowed you when you were an insect, ant or goat and again several births as human beings.So sai has also silently watched the sins you have done.How can he immediately act for whatever "prayers" you do . Can you guess what sins you have done in past. You cant but sai looks

at your atman which stores all your karma.so sai has to obey the laws of karma .

Instead of complaing on our shirdi saibaba, lets help him and ourselves. Lets make ourselfdeserving devotees to get his blessings. How to do it ? I will give you an example.

A rich couples only son was gradually loosing his eye sight.They had tried all kinds oftreatments and consulted doctors all resulting in no improvements. Finally, they had met aGuru who asked them to make use of their money. "He has said , your son is suffering frompast karma which is why he is loosing eye sight. Do one thing...Go to all the eye hospitals inthe state and donate one days expenses for all the patients who come there to get treated.

This will be a good dharma which could wash away your sons past karma."

The parents being rich had no problem in involving themselves in this very good act of dharmaby accepted expenses of poor patients in all eye hospitals for one day. Believe it or not its areal life incident and their son did got back his eye sight. Doctors will do their part in treatingyou and your dear ones but make sure you also involve in little good acts of humanity as peryour ability. I know sometimes your finance will be so less you can't even afford for medicalbills .Thats why i launched starsai.com in 2004 because i want people to make charity as theirday to day habit. Why should you go in search of doing good acts only at the time of pain. Itwill be much better if you start from today to involve in good acts of humanity. When we help others in pain and help the needy, baba will add it to our account in his "Bank ofblessings" .There are crores of Angles up there whom we call as "Devargal" .They will bless useverytime we speak and act for a good cause. If we add our good karma this way, we areactually helping sai to use it and at the time of need. Baba will immediately come to rescue us

from the jaws of death as he has assured in sai satcharita.

Many ask baba why he can't do miracle in their life.Lets remember sai wants us to involve ingood activities of dharma to do miracles.

Our sadguru shirdi saibaba acts according to our past births karma and present good acts ofhumanity irrespective of what sins you had done in previous birth and blesses your wholeheartedly for a healthy long life.

One of my friend suggested the name "sai danvantri" while discussing about this site. Danvantriis the 11 avathar of Lord Vishnu and is considered as 'God of Medicine'.

Please try to read this sloka as many times as you can. You can get a chanting box of thismantra and make the person suffering to listen to it.

My mother used to say do the following.

Theres a grass called "dharpa".....she keeps a glass of water , dips the dharpa grass inside the

water each time and recite this mantra for 108 times, Then she does pooja and drinks that holywater as prasad. She says it reduces her pain.

If you can't get dharpa grass, just keep a glass of water, recite this mantra as many times asyou can and give it as prasad to the person to improve their health. Sai will surely cure yourpains by blessings of Lord Danvantri.
