I’m afraid of walking alone

The aim of the poster is to sensibilize people to the theme of the violence against women. Why women should be afraid to walk alone in the city? Why they should hear comments about their bodies from strangers? I chose this topic because it is really common, it is a little violence that may seem not that important, but that reflects what most of the women face everyday. The poster was made for a contest.

Veuw is a project during a workshop with Kalle Brushmann from Frog Design, Munich. Veuw is a place where politicians and Europeans can interact together and have a debate. The app is designed for who wants to better understand the Europe situation, feeling more involved in the actuality of the Country, being an important part of this big organisation. The app offers the possibility to have a unique platform to create a commuity and to exchange opinions and ideas with other users and politicians as well.

The British government has been accused of being “deceitful” and dodging its legal responsibilities to a group of refugees whose failing boats washed ashore in a British military zone on Cyprus late last year.

The Ministry of Defence has stated that the 114 people who came ashore are the responsibility of Cyprus and, according to the refugees, has said they will be sent to Lebanon, from where their boats set sail, if they do not seek asylum with Cypriot authorities.

However, human rights groups say Britain is shirking its legal responsibilities – fearful that the route could be seen as a “back door” to Britain – and coercing people into staying put while paying Cyprus to house and feed them.

This is the result of a two weeks workshop held by Amanda Happè and Hunter Tura from Bruce Mau Design. We’ve been asked to choose a random topic to develop and I chose memory. I asked some questions to people to deepen the subject. Memory is always associated to a huge archive and it is strictly related to emotions.

During the second week we had to develop a book, a video and a poster around the topic we choose, creating a sort of storytelling.

The project consists of a series of visual elements that encourage pre-school children to eat vegetables. It includes a paper tablecloth, a series of illustrated cards and an app for smartphones that can visualize augmented reality contents. Illustration is the central element of the whole project.

Cersaie — beautiful ideasposter design — contest

This project was for the Cersaie 2015 ceramic fair poster contest. The fair takes place every year in Bologna, Italy and it is well known worldwide.This is the result of one week’s work during a workshop in San Marino University. All three posters are based on the overlapping of photographic and vectorial elements, using several black gradations and a red graphic element.

This is a conceptual project as an application to the city of Rio De Janeiro for the inclusion in the Universal Expo 2030. The project emphasizes Rio’s contrast between nature and industry, wealth and poverty, hospitality and criminality.
