Cari amici, tre anni fa eravamo partiti con una sola idea: “Mission: success!”

Avevamo pianificato una strategia di crescita nel contesto del motorsport, puntando su un giovanissimo, appena quindicenne, all’epoca sconosciuto nel mondo automobilistico ma con innate qualità velocistiche.

In questi tre anni, attorno a lui, si è creato un team di lavoro estremamente professionale, con persone di provata esperienza in vari ambiti (dal management alla comunicazione) che credono in

Riccardo Agostini e giorno dopo giorno lo accompagnano nel suo percorso verso il professionismo. Il nostro obiettivo, ieri come oggi, è la Formula 1.

L’impegno è massimo e costante e la vittoria del Campionato Italiano di Formula 3, nel 2012, al debutto nella categoria, nonché il test premio svolto sulla Ferrari F1 ed altri significativi exploit, certificano il valore del progetto. Sappiamo ciò che diciamo e per noi è un forte motivo di orgoglio averVi come nostri partner. Perché il nostro motto non cambia: “Insieme... possiamo!”.

Dear friends, three years ago we started with a single idea: “Mission: success!”.

We planned a growth strategy in the motorsport context, focusing on a young, barely-fifteen driver, at that time unknown, but with a natural attitude to racing.

In these three years, we developed around him a highly-professional team, composed by people of proven experience in various areas (from management to communication) who believe in Riccardo Agostini and who accompany him, day after day, in his path to professionalism.

Our goal, then as now, is Formula 1. Our high and constant commitment leaded to the victory of the Italian Formula 3 Championship in 2012, on his debut in the category, to the test-prize at the wheel of the Ferrari F1 and to other significant exploits which give credit and value to our project.

A soli 18 anni, scrivere il proprio nome nell’albo d’oro del Campionato Italiano di Formula 3, in occasione del debutto nella categoria, significa tanto.

Oltre al successo, indiscusso e meritato, significa soprattutto essere sulla strada giusta, lungo un percorso difficile, ma in perfetto “orario” con la tabella di marcia che ci siamo prefissati prima di dare insieme il via a questa sfida avvincente. Ben 5 vittorie, 6 pole position, 14 podi e 9 giri veloci in gara, sintetizzano la nostra determinazione a raggiungere l’obiettivo più alto.

Having its own name written in the Formula 3 Championship’s roll of honour - being just 18 years old, at its debut in the series - means a lot. In addition to the undisputed and well-deserved success, it means, above all, that we are on the right track, walking along a difficult path, but perfectly “on time” with the roadmap we have set before starting together this exciting challenge.

Un’annata strepitosa, quella del 2012, che ha portato a Riccardo Agostini importanti riconoscimenti.

A premiare il pilota padovano per i risultati ottenuti in pista è stato il settimanale Autosprint: a Bologna, nella “notte degli oscar” dei Caschi d’Oro dell’automobilismo, Agostini è salito sul palco assieme al nove volte iridato dei rally Sébastien Loeb, il progettista della Red Bull Adrian Newey, Alex Zanardi, David Coulthard e tanti altri.

Occhi sempre puntati sul 18enne veneto da parte della stampa, tanto che l’UIGA (Unione Italiana

Giornalisti dell’Automotive) gli aveva già in precedenza conferito la “Tartaruga d’Oro”, il premio destinato ogni anno ad una giovane promessa del motorsport.

Ed ancora, è stato il magazine on-line Italiaracing.net (quasi 300.000 “lettori” sul web) a proclamare Riccardo Agostini “Pilota del 2012”. A decretarlo quasi all’unanimità su un totale di dieci candidati, è stata una giuria di giornalisti specializzati del settore in rappresentanza delle testate Autosport Japan, Autosprint, La Gazzetta dello Sport ed, appunto, Italiaracing.

2012 has been an amazing year, which brought major awards to the driver from Padua.

An important reward for his achievements on the track was offered to Riccardo Agostini by the weekly magazine Autosprint: in Bologna, during the night of the Oscars of the motor-racing “Caschi d’Oro”, Agostini was awarded together with the nine-time rally world champion Sébastien Loeb, the Red Bull designer Adrian Newey, Alex Zanardi, David Coulthard and many others. A verdict almost unanimously agreed by a jury formed by specialized journalists, representing magazines such as Autosport Japan, Autosprint, La Gazzetta dello Sport and Italiaracing itself.

Per Agostini si è trattato di un’ulteriore conferma e del modo migliore per concludere una stagione fantastica che, dopo avere conquistato il titolo italiano e Rookie della categoria cadetta, lo aveva visto svolgere a Vallelunga il test-premio con la Ferrari di F.1 e mettersi in evidenza nelle sessioni di prove svolte con le monoposto della GP2 e della F.Renault 3.5, rispettivamente sui circuiti di Barcellona ed Alcañiz.

It has been a further confirmation for Agostini and a great way to end a fantastic season, after achieving the F.3 Italian and the Rookie title, closed with the test-prize with the Ferrari F1 at Vallelunga and the practice sessions with the GP2 and Formula Renault 3.5, on the circuits of Barcelona and Alcañiz.

Era una promessa fatta tre anni fa, in tempi non sospetti. Era ed è sempre stato il nostro obiettivo.Oggi possiamo dire che la promessa è stata mantenuta.

Riccardo Agostini, il 9 novembre 2012, sul tracciato di Vallelunga è salito sulla Ferrari di F.1 per svolgere il test ufficiale della FDA (Ferrari Driver Academy), come premio per avere conquistato il titolo tricolore di F.3. Ed ha impressionato ancora... Calatosi nell ’abitacolo della Rossa, ha infatti evidenziato immediatamente un ottimo affiatamento con la vettura.

Dai 230 Cv della Mygale di F.3 agli oltre 800 della F60 di Maranello, la stessa impiegata nel Mondiale 2009 da Kimi Raikkonen e Felipe Massa.

Un sogno che si è realizzato per il giovanissimo pilota veneto (18 anni e 6 mesi alla data del test), ma anche un’ottima vetrina internazionale e l’opportunità per dimostrare le proprie qualità su una monoposto che rappresenta la massima espress ione dell’automobilismo sotto tutti gli aspetti.

Riccardo Agostini, in November 9 2012, on the track of Vallelunga got behind the wheel of the Ferrari F.1 to perform in the official test of the FDA (Ferrari Driver Academy) as a prize for winning the F.3 Italian Championship. And he stood out again... After getting into the cockpit of the “Red Car” he immediately established a good feeling with the car.

From 230 hp of the F.3 Mygale to over 800 of the Maranello’s F60, the same used in the 2009 World Championship by Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa.

A dream that became true for the young driver from Padua (who was 18 years and 6 months the date of the test), but also a great international showcase and a rare opportunity to show off his skills on a single-seater that is the ultimate expression of motor-racing sports.

Dal debutto in monoposto al suo primo successo in F.3, l’università dell’automobilismo, in sole tre stagioni. Riccardo Agostini può essere considerato come uno dei giovani emergenti del vivaio tricolore.

Come i suoi più illustri colleghi che sono poi approdati nelle maggiori serie, Riccardo ha mosso i primi passi nel karting e nel 2010 ha compiuto il grande salto debuttando nel Campionato Italiano della F.Abarth.

La sua prima stagione in monoposto è stata sicuramente

al di sopra di ogni aspettativa, contrassegnata da due podi e una vittoria, ottenuta sulla pista “Enzo e Dino Ferrari” di Imola, dove aveva messo a segno anche la sua prima pole.

Nel 2011 ancora un’annata “doc” per il veloce pilota veneto, benché in parte condizionata dal fatto di avere cambiato squadra dopo i primi quattro appuntamenti. Poi la svolta, dopo essere approdato tra le file della JD Motorsport, con una serie di piazzamenti nelle posizioni di testa a Imola e Spa-Francorchamps, culminata con il podio ottenuto sul circuito

Infine l’eccellente stagione 2012, nella quale Agostini, pur essendo al proprio debutto nella categoria cadetta, è riuscito a vincere tutto confermando una supremazia già intravista sin dai primi test invernali, diventando anche l’unico pilota al mondo ad avere portato al successo in un campionato una vettura Mygale.

From his debut with the single-seater to his first success in Formula 3, Riccardo Agostini “graduated” from the “University of motor-racing” in just three seasons and can be considered as one of the emerging talents of the Italian racing.

Like his more famous colleagues who reached the main series, Riccardo has taken the first steps in karting and, in 2010, he made the “jump” entering the Italian F.Abarth Championship.

His first season with the single-seaters was certainly beyond

all expectations, marked by two podiums and a victory achieved on the track “Enzo e Dino Ferrari” at Imola, where he also scored his first pole.

2011 was also a great year for the Venetian driver, although in part affected by having changed team just after the first four events. The turning point was after joining the JD Motorsport team, with a series of first places at Imola and Spa-Francorchamps, ended with a podium at the Zeltweg circuit in Austria. At the end of the year

he turned out to be the best of the Italian drivers in the European series.

Finally came the excellent 2012 season where Agostini, even if just on his debut in the F.3 series, managed to win all, confirming a supremacy already glimpsed from the first winter tests, becoming the only driver in the world to have led to victory a Mygale car in a championship.

La World Series by Renault è la massima espressione di un campionato monomarca perfettamente organizzato da una Casa automobilistica presente in Formula 1. Anche per questo rappresenta garanzia di visibilità sia per i marchi coinvolti, quanto per i piloti che vi prendono parte.

Oltre 500.000 gli spettatori in pista durante tutta la stagione, a cui va aggiunta una copertura televisiva in diretta mondiale garantita dall’emittente SKY.

La vettura è quanto di più simile ad una Formula 1, con 530 Cv di potenza, cambio sequenziale al volante e sistema aerodinamico DRS (ala mobile) utilizzato solo nella massima categoria.

Non è un caso se negli ultimi test invernali 2012 di Formula 1, diverse squadre abbiamo chiamato piloti provenienti da questo campionato, alcuni dei quali sono stati poi messi sotto contratto.

The World Series by Renault is the ultimate expression of a single-make championship organized with perfection by an automotive manufacturer that operates in Formula 1. This is one of the reasons why it’s a guarantee of visibility for both the brands involved, as well as for the drivers who will race.

The spectators, following the event on the track, throughout the season are over 500,000, plus a live worldwide television coverage by the broadcaster SKY.

Lo staff del dottor Ceccarelli ha pianificato per Riccardo Agostini un programma di assistenza annuale molto accurato sotto ogni aspetto medico, mentale ed atletico, che prevede per tutta la stagione sportiva controlli a scadenza mensile per verificare costantemente la condizione psico-fisica del pilota.

Si tratta di un avanzatissimo simulatore finalizzato al training di piloti professionisti. AllinSports è il partner ufficiale e fornitore di tecnologie di simulazione del Ferrari Driver Academy.Il simulatore si basa su un motore grafico utilizzato dalla maggior parte dei team di Formula 1 e AllinSports ha sviluppato una gamma di modelli per categorie dalla F.3 fino alla F.1. Il “motion cueing” è ottenuto attraverso l’utilizzo di una serie di componenti come la piattaforma “mood motion” che effettua il “con move” a 500 gradi al secondo, in modo

The staff of Dr. Ceccarelli has planned for Riccardo Agostini an annual support program, very accurate in all respects: medical, mental and athletic, which will provide bi-monthly checks during the entire season, in order to constantly keep under observation the physical and mental condition of the driver.

This is a training simulator for professional racing drivers and the most advanced simulation technologies available. AllinSports is the official simulation partner of the Ferrari Driver Academy.The simulator uses a leading graphics engine that is used by the majority of F1 teams andAllinSports has developed its own vehicle physics models ranging from F3 right up to F1. Motion cueing is done by a number of components such as the Moog motion platform that con move at500 degrees per second to give very precise car behavior and there are steering force feedback,

seat belt tensioning and a number of other devices to make the effect to the driver as accurate as possible.

The images are displayed on a 180 degree wrap around screen by three HD projectors and the tracks are made using LiDar technology to map the driving surfaces so that they are very precise.
