Su questo si basa la fisiognomica... “

Carlo Albasio si dedica da lungo tempo allo studio della figura umana e di quella di ogni essere viven-te. Profondamente attratto dalle masse organiche dove la fisiognomica e l’anatomia del corpo fanno da protagoniste nella poetica dell’artista milanese.Se possiamo ammettere che il decadimento e le mutazioni della carne e del corpo sono il trait d’union che emerge fin dal primo momento in cui si osservano i disegni esposti in Galleria STATUTO13, in Brera, a Milano; possiamo oltremodo riconoscere quanto la corporalità del mondo femminile sia il soggetto ricorrente e più studiato dall’artista.

“ Because the eyebrow often tells the truth , as eyes and noses are the language , and the appearan-ce proclaims the heart and inclinations it’s just needed the observation in order to educate yourself on the fundamentals of physiognomy .... We often observe that people with similar traits perform actions similar . On this it is based physiognomy ... “

Carlo Albasio devoted long study of the human figure and that of every living being . Deeply attracted by the organic material where the physiognomy and anatomy of the body are the protagonists in the Milanese artist’s poetics .

If we can admit that the decay and mutations of flesh and body are the liaison that emerges from the very first moment when you look at the drawings exhibited in STATUTO13 Gallery in Brera , Milan ; we can recognize how extremely corporeality of the female world is the recurring theme and most studied by the artist.

La nostra città è sempre più multietnica e, come altre e ancor più grandi capitali europee, risulta essere un terreno mol-to fertile di “modelli viventi”; che osservati sotto ogni aspetto: da quello ludico a quello amoroso, da quello impegnato nel quotidiano a quello pensoso e più intensamente coinvolto da pensieri più spirituali. Carlo Albasio li osserva tutti, ne sceglie i più rappresentativi proprio di quel modus vivendi e di quell’anima che spesso sa catturare nel disegno a matita, a penna o a carboncino.Il volto di un uomo segnato dal tempo, ci osserva, prende forma su fogli di carta; e quando ci osserva diviene una finestra sul mondo urbano - e non solo - che di sovente ci dimentichiamo di osservare, troppo impegnati dallo scorrere della vita e del quotidiano.Ne scorgo una chiave di lettura riflessiva che consta nell’auspicio di imparare a dedicare più tempo ad osservare il mondo che corre veloce attorno a noi; con conseguente beneficio di quell’appagamento che solo l’osservazione e l’ascolto sanno insegnarci.

“..Il viso di un essere umano, di regola, dice cose più interessanti di quelle che dice la sua bocca: poiché il viso è il compendio di tutto ciò che la bocca possa mai dire...La bocca esprime soltanto pensieri dell’uomo, il viso, invece, esprime un pensiero della natura. Perciò ogni individuo merita di essere osservato con attenzione; anche se non ognuno merita che si parli con lui..”

Anche se la fisiognomica non è inclusa nelle scienze esatte ma tra le pseudoscienze, trovo che sia molto utile nella definizione, a grandi tratti, della relazione che intercorre tra aspetto fisico e corrispettivo caratteriale o attitudini com-portamentali. Nei segni del volto il destino dell’uomo....e questo è un ambito che attrae profondamente la creatività e la produzione artistica di Carlo Albasio. I suoi disegni risultano essere molto attrattivi e mostrano il fascino di chi sa osservare le molte sfaccettature tipiche del comportamento umano. Affascinante compendio di anni di disegni dedicati all’umana natura, questa è la mostra personale di Carlo Albasio; all’interno della quale si potranno osservare anche oggetti vari, su legno e altri materiali, che l’artista ha sapientemente disegnato. Oggetti d’arte chiusi in bauli che riportano alla metafora del bagaglio della vita saranno presenti in mostra e un carnet di bozzetti farà da epitome del lungo percorso artistico di questo prolifico artista.

Our city is increasingly multiethnic and, like other major European capitals and even more , turns out to be a very fertile ground for “ living models “ ; that observed in every respect : from the playful to the love , to the one involved in the everyday and to the pensive, intensely involved in more spiritual thoughts . Carlo Albasio observes them all , he chooses the most representative of that very modus vivendi and picks up the real soul who he often knows how to capture in pencil, pen or charcoal.

The face of a man marked by time is watching us , he takes the form of sheets on paper ; and when he observes us it becomes a window on the urban world - and not only - that often we forget to observe, too busy by the flow of life and the everyday.

Then I see a reflexive interpretation which consists in the hope of learning to spend more time looking at the wor-ld that runs faster around us ; it is then consequently resulting as a benefit of the contentment that only observing and listening may teach us.

The mouth only expresses thoughts of ‘the man as long as the face , however , expresses a thought of nature . Therefore every individual deserves to be carefully observed ; although not everyone deserves that we speak with him .. “

Although physiognomy is not included in the exact sciences but between pseudoscience , I find it very useful in defining , broadly speaking , the relationship between physical appearance and the consideration of character or behavioral attitudes . In the signs of the face the destiny of man .... and this is an area that deeply attracts either creativity or artistic production of Carlo Albasio .His drawings appear to be very attractive and show the charm of who knows how to observe the many typical facets of human behavior .

Fascinating compendium of years of drawings dedicated to the human nature , this is the exhibition of Carlo Alba-sio ; in which you can also see various objects of wood and other materials, which the artist has skillfully drawn. Art closed trunks that bring to luggage metaphor for life will be featured in the show , and a book of sketches will be the paradigm of the long artistic career of this prolific artist.
