  • INTRODUCTION

GENERAL WARNINGS N.B. The machine is perfectly designed. Its electrical and mechanical working will be more consistent and efficient if it is used properly and submitted to a periodic maintenance. Read carefully the instructions as they give important directions for the safety of the installation, use and maintenance. Take care of the instructions for further consultations. After having removed the packing, control the integrity of the machine. In case of doubt, do not use the machine and apply to qualified professional staff. The packing components (plastic bags, expanded polystyrene, nails, etc.) must be kept out of children, as they are potentially dangerous. Before connecting the machine, check that the rating plate data coincides with the one of the electrical local distribution network (the plate is inside the machine). This machine is intended only for the use it was designed. Any other use is considered inappropriate and therefore dangerous. NOVA D.A. cannot be considered responsible for any damages due to improper, wrong and irrational use. The use of any electric machine involves the observance of some basic rules. In particular:

    - Do not touch the machine with wet or dump hands or feet; - Do not use the machine barefoot; - Do not leave the machine exposed to the atmospheric agents (rain, sun, etc.)

Before starting any cleaning or maintenance operation, please disconnect the machine from the electric distribution network, disconnecting the plug or switching off the plant. In case of damage and/or bad working of the machine, switch it off and do not tamper with it. For any repairing, apply only to a centre of technical assistance authorized by the manufacturer and ask for the use of original spare parts. The no observance of what reported above, may compromise the safety of the machine. The execution of the plant must be in conformity with CEI 64-9 “ Regulations for electric installations in civil buildings”. Machine in conformity with the directives: 98/37, 89/336, 73/23 CEE and subsequent modifications and integration.

PARTICULAR GENERAL WARNINGS The installation must follow the instructions of NOVA D.A. A wrong installation may cause damages for which the manufacturer cannot be considered responsible. The electric safety of this machine is assured only if it is properly connected with an effective earth plant, as expected in compliance with the regulation of electric safety. It is necessary to verify this important requirement of safety, and in case of doubt, ask to qualified professional staff for a check of the plant. NOVA D.A. cannot be considered responsible for any damages caused for the missing of the earth plant. Each machine is marked with its specific matriculation number which is on the label inside. Such a number must be reported as a reference for any kind of question regarding the distributor. Use of adapted apparatus, multiple electrical plugs and/or electrical extensions is forbidden. THE MANUFACTURER DECLINES ANY RESPONSABILITY FOR POSSIBLE DAMAGES CAUSED BY INOBSERVANCE OF THE PRECAUTIONS A BOVE MENTIONED.

TECHNICAL FEATURES Cooling system: ecological R134a Freone Gas, electronic control of the inside temperature and of the defrosting cycle. Varnishing: with “epoxidic” powders. Voltage: 220V – 50 Hz max absorbed power 650VA Height: 1830 mm. Width: 820 mm. Depth: 780 mm. Weigh: 209 Kg.

    INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

UNPAKING The distributor is shipped in a single packing, already fitted and ready for the installation. The components of the packing must be carefully removed, not to damage the dispenser. Check the internal and external sides of the large case in the eventuality of possible damages. In case of some, please inform immediately the forwarder and take care to withdraw the dispenser indicating on the bill of lading a due reservation, as indicated on the packaging. SETTING IN FUNCTION: a) Remove the packing from the dispenser. b) Check that the fusible is fixed in its sites and that the main switch is on “off” position. c) The required voltage for the dispenser is 220V. Before connecting the plug, please make

sure that the local network voltage is under suitable conditions and that an independent electric earth wire is present.

    d) For a better setting of the dispenser, regulate the lower feet till they are perfectly in line. e) In order to permit a good ventilation of the dispenser, please keep it some centimetres

off from the wall. f) Before making the dispenser working, please make sure that the thermostat is on “+10°”

    position.

USE OF DISTRIBUTORS FOR PRODUCTS HERMETICALLY CLOSED

The apparatus is equipped with two compartments with different temperatures; the above compartment works with temperatures between 8 and 15° C and it can be used esclusevely for distribution of products hermetically closed which have no necessity to be refrigerated (Snack). The lower compartment, identified in the two lower planes, works with temperatures that do not exceed the 4° C; thus, it can be used for distribution of packed food and frozen preserved (Food). Please follow scrupulously the mufacturer’s indications related to maintenance ad expiry date of each single product. Any other use is to be considered improper thus, potentially dangerous.

  • INSIDE OF THE DISTRIBUTOR Cooling system: it is placed on the side part of the dispenser and provides the correct temperature to the products contained in it. The fridge defrosting must be planned. For a good working of the freezing system, the thermostat has never to be at a temperature lower than +10° for temperature 1. For temperature 2, the thermostat has never to be at a temperature superior to that requested by the product introduced in it. Electrical panel: the electronic circuit boards are situated in the electric panel, which is in the lower part of the dispenser.

    LOADING SPIRAL PLANES

In order to load the spiral plane, pull the drawers outwards one at a time to the fixed point. Load from the front towards the inside in order to fill all the room; make sure of placing the products with the label turned to the glass window. Put the products into the correct spirals, in order to make the distribution easier. A big product in a small spiral hardly could be properly distributed. Attention: tinned food and in particular plastic bag food must be arranged with the edge turned forward, in order to avoid that the same gets entangled in the spiral and falling is prevented. Furthermore, it should be better to place the fragile products in the lower planes in order to avoid the damage during the distribution. Tinned food, drinks and brik can be put into the dispenser only after having installed the proper supports for spiral. Put PET and BRIK as figure 1 here below.

CONVERTING DRAWERS a) Switch off the connector. b) Pull out the drawer to be converted. c) Draw out the power units with the spiral. d) Put aside a spiral power unit and to the other one, replace the small diameter spiral with

the one of big diameter. e) Remove separator. f) Insert the spiral guide. g) Insert the power unit with the big spiral diameter into the central fissure of the support. h) Put the new data plates with price selections. i) Put the changed drawer and switch on the connector. j) Programme the new selections with the required sale price.

PLEASE NOTE: In the selections of large room, selection numbers will be the ones of the used motor.

    k) Try the new selections in order to make sure of their working. NOTE: if products in small bags or boxes are not in the correct position, they can give some problems. The sealed hem can slip under the wire of the spiral preventing the falling of the same. It is recommended to fold up it again forward, before that it is inserted in the space of the spiral and that it doesn’t block in space “S” which is mm. 85 of width and mm. 120 of height (see figure 2). SPIRALS: the large part of products is sold without problems, when the extremity of the spiral is at 6 o’clock. In order to modify the extremity, it is necessar
