Top attention is focused on the materials. First grade Italian brass, melted and cast in the Besana in Brianza facilities. Finishing and inspecting the product before packaging is carried out with the care and the attention that Italians very well know.

Spesso sono i particolari unici a fare la differenza tra un buon prodotto e un manufatto di livello superiore. Come le rosette e le bocchette di spessore ridotto (6 mm), disponibili per tutti gli articoli delle collezioni DESIGN e CONTEMPORARY. Componenti che non necessitano di lavorazioni aggiuntive sulla porta e che hanno richiesto uno studio mirato da parte del centro ricerca MANDELLI1953, per coniugare forma e funzione senza compromessi.

The quality of the design in a product can be measured with the care for details.

Exclusive details are often the unique features which make the difference between a good and a high-grade product. Like the roses and the escutcheons with reduced thickness (6mm) available for all items of the DESIGN and CONTEMPORARY collections. These parts don’t need additional work on the doors and required a specific study by the research department of MANDELLI1953 to find a balance between form and function, with no compromises.

MANDELLI1953 propone, su alcuni modelli, l’innovativo meccanismo ribassato per la martellina DK (6 mm).

Come in ogni maniglia MANDELLI1953, il movimento delle martelline è composto esclusivamente da elementi metallici; le parti mobili sono rivestite da una particolare nichelatura che forma un substrato antifrizione uniforme, resistente ad usura e corrosione.

Il movimento è stato testato nei nostri laboratori, con i criteri della norma RAL-RG 607/9. La norma prevede almeno 10.000 cicli di utilizzo: le nostre martelline hanno superato i 16.000 cicli, paragonabili ad oltre 10 anni di utilizzo.

DK FLATflat drehkipp system

MANDELLI1953 proposes, on selected models, the new lowered mechanism for the DK system (6mm).

Like for any other handle by MANDELLI1953 the mechanism is exclusively made of metallic components. The moving parts are coated with a special nickel finish, which creates a uniform friction-free layer, resistant to wear and corrosion.

The movement was tested in laboratory according to RAL-RG 607/9 norms. While the standard requires at least 10.000 turns, the handles by MANDELLI1953 recorded over 16.000 turns, corresponding to more than 10 years of normal usage.

Solo ottone e acciaio. Niente plastica, né altri materiali più facilmente soggetti all’usura del tempo.

I sistemi di sicurezza delle maniglie MANDELLI1953 sono fatti per durare per sempre. E in più sono invisibili: i pulsanti di blocco alla rotazione sono collocati discretamente sul retro dell’impugnatura, per non alterare la lineare bellezza del prodotto.

La sicurezza, sia dall’interno che dall’esterno, non sacrifica la funzionalità: il sistema è ergonomico e facile da azionare per un adulto. Basta una leggera pressione sul tasto per sbloccare la rotazione e azionare la maniglia. Semplice e immediato, come ogni prodotto ben fatto.

Il DK magnetico di sicurezza è disponibile su piastra ovale solo sui modelli LINK e START.

Only brass and steel. No plastic or any other short -living material.

The security systems of the handles by MANDELLI1953 are made to last forever. And they are also invisible: the buttons to lock the rotation are discretely located on the back of the handle not to disturb the product look.

Security (both inside and outside) and functionality: the system is ergonomic and easy to use. A light pressure on the button is enough to unlock the rotation and use the handle. Easy and quick like every high-quality product.

The magnetic security DK-lever-system is available for oval plates only for LINK and START items.

Si può migliorare un materiale già eccellente? Il centro ricerca MANDELLI1953 ne è convinto; ecco perché è stato messo a punto il sistema FLUXCOATING VITRIFIED, un rivestimento capace di migliorare le qualità estetiche dell’ottone e di mantenerle inalterate nel tempo.

Il processo consiste in una serie di interventi preparatori del prodotto e nel successivo rivestimento con speciali resine. Il risultato è un’impareggiabile resistenza agli agenti atmosferici, agli urti ed alle abrasioni.

Il trattamento FLUXCOATING è applicato alle finiture MBR (brunito opaco), MSN (nickel satinato opaco), AB (brunito antichizzato), 28 (argento vecchio).

FLUXCOATINGvitrified

Is it possible to improve an already perfect material? The research department of MANDELLI1953 is sure about that; that is why the FLUXCOATING VITRIFIED system, a protective treatment to enhance the brass appearance and preserve it for a long time, has been developed.

Through various product pre-treatments and this coating with special resins, a very high resistance to weather conditions, shocks and abrasion is obtained, whilst the natural shiny look of the polished brass remains unchanged.

The FLUXCLOATING treatment is available for the following finishes: MBR (mat bronze), MSN (mat satin nickel), AB (antique bronze), 28 (antique chrome).

Un ulteriore trattamento applicabile ai prodotti MANDELLI1953 è il rivestimento PVD che presenta ottimi risultati di resistenza all’abrasione, alla corrosione e tenuta del colore nel tempo, anche in ambienti esterni e pubblici.

Elevate sono le caratteristiche tecniche:• resistenza al test di stabilità alla luce solare

UNI 9337 senza alcuna variazione oltre le 1000 ore;

• ottimi risultati in nebbia salina secondo le norme UNI ISO 9227 di resistenza al CASS e al AASS;

• elevata durezza superficiale ASTM B578-93 di 2600 ÷ 2800 HV (un normale riporto di cromo galvanico ha durezza 800 HV);

• perfetta aderenza al pezzo superando il test UNI ISO 4524-5;

• resistenza ad acidi e alcali come acido cloridrico, solforico, cianuri ecc.

Il trattamento PVD è disponibile per i modelli contrassegnati dal simbolo dedicato, solo sulle versioni rosetta/bocchetta e nelle varianti ORO e CROMO INOX.

PVDphysical vapor deposition

An additional treatment can be applied to the products by MANDELLI 1953, the PVD coating, that makes them very resistant to abrasion, corrosion and bleaching, suitable also for outdoor and public places.

The technical features of the treatment are remarkable: • the bleaching resistance test shows no

alteration even after a 1000 hour test, according to UNI 9337 norms;

• high performances for the resistance test to CASS and AAS according to UNI ISO 9227 norms in salty fog chamber;

• very high surface hardness according to ASTM B578-93 norms of 2600 ÷ 2800 HV (standard chrome plated product shows a 800 HV value);

• perfect adhesion, overpassing UNI ISO 4524-5 norms;

• resistance to acids and alkalis (chloridric, sulphuric, cyanide etc…).

PVD treatment is available for the models showing the relevant symbol, only for rose/escutcheon version and for the GOLD and CHROME INOX finishes.

Il periodo di garanzia viene esteso, a decorrere dalla data di acquisto, in base alle finiture.

• 26 – 26D: 4 anni; • Fluxcoating (MBR, AB, 28, MSN): 5 anni; • PVD: 30 anni.

La garanzia prevede, a discrezione di Officine Mandelli srl, la riparazione o la sostituzione gratuita del prodotto considerato difettoso entro il periodo di garanzia.

MANDELLI1953, thanks to the high-quality of the materials and the new technologies in production, gives a special warranty on its products.

Warranty terms have been extended, departing from the date of purchase, according to the finishes as follows:

• 26-26D: 4 years;• Fluxcoating (MBR, AB, 28, MSN): 5 years;• PVD: 30 years.

Warranty provides, at discretion of Officine Mandelli srl, the repair or the replacement of defective product free of charge, during warranty period.

Qualora il prodotto sia stato nel frattempo eliminato dalla produzione, Officine Mandelli srl potrà, a sua discrezione, decidere se sostituire la merce difettosa con prodotti simili o se rimborsare il costo originario dei prodotti.

L’accertamento delle cause, delle responsabilità e la presenza di eventuali vizi di produzione sarà ad insindacabile giudizio di Officine Mandelli srl.Le spese di invio del campione per tale valutazione sono a carico dell’acquirente.

Accertata la responsabilità di Officine Mandelli srl ed il rispetto dei termini di garanzia, le spese di invio di ulteriore materiale e la restituzione degli stessi riparati o in sostituzione saranno a carico di Officine Mandelli srl. Officine Mandelli srl non sarà in alcun caso responsabile per i costi relativi all’installazione, riparazione e sostituzione come di danni o perdite lamentate.

Should any product become discontinued, Officine Mandelli srl reserves the right to replace it with similar product or to refund original purchase cost.

Determination of causes, responsibilities and presence of manufacturing defects will be at discretion of sole Officine Mandelli srl.Dispatch cost for this evaluation will be at purchaser charge.

Once verified Officine Mandelli srl responsibility and warranty terms compliance, other costs as additional material dispatch and its return back to client, will be at Officine Mandelli srl charge. Officine Mandelli srl will not be liable in any case of installation, repair and replacement costs as of loss or damages.

CERTIFICAZIONIcertificatesMANDELLI1953 ha ottenuto presso l’Istituto IFT Rosenheim, organismo che assicura un prestigioso riconoscimento a livello europeo, le seguenti certificazioni:

EN 1906 : 2010: classificazione 47-0040B, una nuova certificazione europea che testa la durata e la resistenza all’usura e alla corrosione di maniglie e pomoli, collocando i prodotti nella fascia più alta (classe 4).

EN 1670 : 2007: un documento che colloca i prodotti MANDELLI1953 in classe 4, la più alta classe di resistenza alla corrosione (240 ore in nebbia salina).

MANDELLI1953 obtained the following certificates at the IFT Rosenheim Institute, an institution that guarantees a prestigious European recognition:

EN 1906 : 2010: class 47-0040B, a new European certificate testing durability, static strength and corrosion resistance for lever handles and knobs, obtaining category of use class 4.

EN 1670 : 2007: this certificate gives MANDELLI 1953 the highest quality level (class 4) regarding resistance to corrosion (240 hours in salty fog chamber).

Nace così la VELVET COLLECTION, una linea di maniglie floccate, disponibile su alcuni modelli, che permette alla maniglia di entrare a far parte definitivamente dell’arredamento e di vestirsi in base all’evoluzione del gusto.

La floccatura è un particolare processo che trova differenti campi di utilizzo: dall’arredamento agli interni per auto, dai caschi agli accessori moda. Grazie alle sue caratteristiche di lavabilità e di elevata resistenza all’abrasione, si è dimostrata un elegante abito per le maniglie MANDELLI1953.

MANDELLI1953 decided to match the quality and the design of the handles with the softness of velvet, to convert an innovative product into pleasure of touch.

VELVET COLLECTION has been conceived in this way, a collection of flocked handles, available only for some models, which allows the handles to be part of the furniture and finally to be dressed according to the evolution of taste.

Flocking is a particular finish applied in many fields such as furnishing, car interiors, crash helmets and fashion accessories.Flocking is easy to wash and very resistant to abrasion, features making this finish an elegant dress for the handles by MANDELLI1953.
