L’Internet delle Cose è l’interconnessione di oggetti di uso comune, univocamente identificabili, attraverso la rete Internet.

McAfee Labs 2015 Threats Predictions


Attacks on the Internet of Things devices will increase rapidly due to hypergrowth in the number of connected objects, poor security hygiene, and the high value of data on those devices.

With the increasing proliferation of healthcare IoTdevices and their use in hospitals, the threat of the loss of information contained on those devices becomes increasingly likely. Healthcare data is even more valuable than credit card data because stolen health credentials can go for US$10 each, which is about 10 to 20 times the value of a U.S. credit card number, according to Reuters.

We predict that there will be a major attack in 2015 directly related to vulnerabilities in IoT devices.
