e’ il tipo di acciaio inossidabile più utilizzato al mondo e costituisce più del 50% del consumo totale di inox. è utile sapere, tuttavia che l’acciaio aisi 304 è soggetto a corrosione, pertanto non è consigliabile l’utilizzo di tale materiale in ambienti ad alta concentrazione salina e di cloro. anche l’inquinamento atmosferico può avere effetti negativi sul potere anticorrosivo del materiale. pertanto se ne consiglia l’utilizzo solo in ambienti interni.
