Eminem returns with a triumphant recovery after the fall stylewith “Relapse”, Slim Shady gives us 17 tracks sounding powerful and engaging.“Recovery” marks the final maturation of Eminem to productions closer to the popmusic scene never forget the origins of sound masterfully conducted by Dr. Dre andold hands like Jim Jonsin, DJ Khalil, Supa Dups and Just Blaze. Full-bodied rhythm

guitar and more present highlight the rocky component (evident in the sample:“Changes” by Black Sabbath, “Drive” by REM, “Cry Little Sister” by Gerard McMahon)and a generally more troubled and introspective vein makes its way in texts thatrevolve around classic themes: satire of the entertainment world based dissing “tri-ple x” and very black humor, cruelty comics to epater le bourgeois, the autobiogra-phical reality show here focused on his recent fight against drug abuse. The enamelis voice, the flow is always brilliant, though hyperbolic language and punch lines a bitless bite. Recovery... Eminem is back.

Ritmi corposi e chitarre più presenti

chiamato googol? Mentre il nome Microsoftunisce Microcomputer e Software? Da cosaderivano, invece, Twitter ed Apple? E altrettantinomi che ormai fanno parte del nostro quoti-diano? Scopriamo insieme le storie che sono allespalle di alcuni dei marchi tecnologici più famo-si e quotati.

Uno dei social network più in voga delmomento. Questo nome davvero partico-lare, è stato estratto da un cappello. Un

gruppo di impiegati di Odeo, una zona vicino San Francisco, stavano cercan-do un nome per la loro applicazione. Dopo averne scritti diversi (tra cui Jittere Twitter), li inserirono tutti in un cappello, lasciando scegliere il fato. Fu cosìche nacque il nome Twitter.

Il nome del sito si riferisce agli annuaricon le foto di ogni singolo membro (face-books) che alcuni college e scuole prepa-

della fondazione di Yahoo!, erano candidati per un posto di dottorandoall’Università di Stanford. Il loro progetto si chiamava Jerry and David’s Guideto the World Wide Web, il nome di Yahoo! è l’acronimo per Yet AnotherHierarchical Officious Oracle, anche se la compagnia afferma che il nome èstato scelto poichè quest’espressione risultava molto accattivante.
