Il territorio di Is Arenas si estende per oltre 700 ettari, completamentericoperto da pini e ginepri e affacciato su spiagge lunghe oltre quattrochilometri. I fondali bassi e sicuri per i bagnanti e la vicinanza dei portituristici di Oristano, Torregrande e Su Pallosu favoriscono le attivitàsubacquee, quelle di nautica da diporto e gli sport velici. A Is Arenasla stagione è lunga dodici mesi, grazie alla protezione dal ventoassicurata dalla pineta e grazie anche al clima, temperato anche ininverno. Is Arenas è facilmente raggiungibile: dista infatti da 100 a140 chilometri dai principali porti e aeroporti della Sardegna.

The Is Arenas Club extends for more than 700 hectares and iscompletely covered with pine trees and junipers, along a coastlinestretching for more than 4 km. The shallow, safe waters and thenearby tourist ports of Oristano, Torregrande and Su Pallosu make itthe ideal place to enjoy all kinds of watersports, from scuba diving toboating and sailing. The golfing season here lasts for twelve months,since the pine trees provide a gentle breeze in summer while theclimate is mild even in winter. Is Arenas is easily reached; in fact it islocated at between 100 and 140 Km from the main Sardinian portsand airports.

Nato oltre trent’anni fa, Is Molas Resort è stato il primo campo da golfin Sardegna, e con le sue ventisette buche è anche il più grandedell’isola. Progettato da Cotton, Pennick & Partners, ha ospitato moltecompetizioni prestigiose, fra cui quattro Open d’Italia e un EuropeanVolvo Master. È uno dei campi più tecnici e spettacolari di tutto ilMediterraneo. Nella Club House si possono noleggiare car, set dimazze e le attrezzature (tranne le scarpe). La Golf Academy di DanWilliamson offre lezioni e corsi di golf.

Is Molas Resort came into being over thirty years ago and can prideitself as being Sardinia’s very first golf course. With its 27 holes, it isstill the biggest on the island. Designed by Cotton, Pennick &Partners, it has hosted many important competitions, including fourItalian Opens and a European Volvo Master. It is one of the mosttechnical and spectacular courses in the Mediterranean. At theclubhouse you can hire buggies, clubs and equipment (not shoes). IsMolas is also the home of the “Dan Williamson Golf Academy”offering golf lessons and courses.

Inaugurato nel 1972, il Pevero Golf Club è uno dei campi più belli epiù richiesti al mondo, con i suoi stagni naturali tra le rocce e unsottobosco profumato di ginepro, mirto e corbezzolo. Ogni buca èdiversa dall’altra; ogni punto di arrivo o di partenza diventa unpanorama da ammirare. Dal tee della buca 4, attorniato dalle roccelevigate dal vento, si intravedono oltre il Golfo del Pevero i rilievi dellaCorsica. L’unico rischio è di sbagliare un colpo perché il panoramacircostante è talmente bello da distrarre anche il giocatore piùconcentrato.

The Pevero Golf Club, which was opened in 1972, is one of the mostsought-after and spectacular courses in the world. Here you findnatural lagoons set amidst the rocks and the underbrush is fragrantwith the scent of juniper, myrtle and arbutus berries. Each hole isunique and every time you tee off or reach the green, you can enjoywonderful views. From the Fourth Tee, set in the midst of wind-smoothed rocks, you can admire the Pevero Gulf and even catch aglimpse of the Corsican mountains. The only problem with all thisincredible scenery is that even the most expert and concentratedplayers have to keep their eye on the ball and not on the wonderfulpanorama.

Percorso inserito in un contesto di pregio paesaggistico nel Comunedi Villasimius. L’isola dei Cavoli, uno scorcio dell’isola di Serpentara el’Area marina protetta di Capo Carbonara sono solo una parte dellospettacolo che si presenterà al giocatore in attesa di colpire la palla. Ilpar 70 e i 5418 metri del percorso non devono trarre in inganno ilgiocatore. Tecnica e precisione rappresentano le abilità richieste peraffrontare correttamente il percorso tra emozioni e natura.

The Course is situated in a context of rare beauty in the little town ofVillasimius. Views of the Cavoli and Serpentara islands and theenvironmentally protected Capo Carbonara Marine Reserve are onlypart of the scenery that catches the eyes of golfers waiting to hit the

Di recentissima apertura, è uno dei tre campi pratica urbani esistentiin Italia e confina con l’Ostello della Gioventù. Il campo si rivolgeinfatti in modo particolare agli studenti. Ha una superficie di circa treettari, è lungo oltre 220 metri e largo circa 1000 metri.

The recently opened Sinis Course, located close to a Youth Hostel, isone of the only three urban practice ranges existing in Italy. In fact,the course is particularly student-orientated. It extends over threehectares with a length of more than 220 metres and a width ofaround 1000 metres.
