I am a Product and Furniture designer. I explore technics and trend possibilities. In my opinion the form follows functionality and I believe that the valve of a project is in details. Products are made to be used, so in my view there is a specific user for each object.

SOLID ILLUSION 2

The material used in this project is birch veneer. This material guarantees stiffness and opacity, but lets the light pass through. The main approach used in designing this lighting element is sensory distortion of materials: when the light is off, at a first look, this object appears made by a single piece of wood, solid, full in the inside. But when the light is turned on, its emptiness and lightness is reveal. A secondary approach is a kind of a quasi-mimesis of materials: the material is not disguised as another material, but the specific process is.

This is a interactive toy for children. It’s made by a central body on which the child could attach differente components. Statring from the facts that attention in children last 30 minutes, we made a small toy, easy to transport, with not strict rules. Every child could use anyball in different ways, just changing the components. The interection is different with every components. All the technology needed is inside, for the chil’s safety. Aniball recognize the presence of the adult and the child and move differently. This is a way to improve the interaction between children and parents.

This is an interactive robot with the aim to collect eggs and to bring them to home. It was the final assignement in the course of Robotics and Design. The goal of the race is to collect eggs as much as possible without damaging the other robots. It is made with 3d printed parts, laser cuttered gears, a solid wood structure and a sheet of aluminium as coverage. Inside we can find 3 dc motors, one servo, two photoresistors to follow the back-home line, a bluethoot module and different batteries, everything run by Arduino.The robot could be controlled by a dedicated program with intuitive user-interface.

The hood is an object of fundamental importance for the quality of the air in the kitchen. It is not a tool that is taught to use, and there are no hoods on the market that they communicate their work and the benefits brought.Furthermorethe aspiration of the hood is usually divided on a suction area different from that required. is useless suction from all four ring when only one is turned on. For this Zone has automatic ignition that detects which fire is lit, in order to concentrate the aspiration at one or more points, reducing noise and power consumption

Xone is a modular platform for generic works inside an ambient like the smart factory. It is mad by a centrale module, that include alla the electronic component like Gps, Wifi, Intel galileo, four external module for movimentation that could both be holonomics wheels or propellers. Inside there is an empty space that houses a module for the work: it could be a laser engraver, a cutter, an extruder, a lawn mowner, or everything that made some works over a track. For the air version, XOne is made to catch and trasmit higt quality images by an action cam, like Gopro.

Chocomatica is a tempering machine for chocolate, that is a machine whichcontrols the melting temperature to obtain tablets of quality, without whitestreaks or spots of moisture. Chocomatica is made by the base of Carraramarble, by the bowl in hand-blown glass and by electronic components. Youcan select the different programs depending on the chocolate The machine is artisanal, combining the traditions of thetraditions of master chocolatiers to new trends, the craftsmanship and thevalues iconic materials to the latest technology.

Coriolis is a stool for the high shelves or for shows and exhibitions. Incorporates the concepts of the coriolis force, which acts through the Earth's rotation. The rotation is taken from the legs that seem to twist the legs of the user. This process is made possible by the new 5-axis milling machines with numerical control. The rotation of the stool depends on the context of sale: clockwise the Northern Hemisphere, counterclockwise in the Southern Hemisphere

4T’appoggio

T'appoggio is a table lamp that uses levers to balance the game and go back into place. Even when it seems it is about to fall, and surprises you back exactly where you left off.it It is composed of only one material, polymethylmethacrylate and machined only with laser cutting. There are no bolts and no screws: only plastic joints derived from laser cuttering. In this lamp the wire take the form of the grip, showing where tking the lamp when you brig it with yourself.

Cindarella is a cleaning kit. In these little dimension (30x30x30 cm) you have everything you need to make you home shiny. It is provided with a broom, a shovel, a floor washing, a bucket, three detergents (ie the windows, the floors, degreaser) and a convenient transportation system on wheels for easy moving. You coul naturally buy the refill for the detergents, without kg of plastics. It is made in grey or coloured plastic.
