COVRE inizia le sua attività nel 1980, riuscendo subito ad affermarsi nel settore della lavorazione del cuoio, per gli elevati gradi di specializzazione che contraddistinguono le sue realizzazioni. Il sodalizio tra Covre, Marina Bani e Marco Penati dura da anni, alla base c’è la stessa passione per un materiale nobile e antico come il cuoio, ma che si presta ad interpretazioni sempre sorprendentemente nuove e attuali.La collezione Galileo e le porte Euclide di questo catalogo non sono solo una variante di finitura delle superfici.Il cuoio li rende unici e realizzabili solo in questo modo. La perizia nelle lavorazioni del cuoio è esaltata da esecuzioni tipiche della selleria. Ogni particolare viene rifinito manualmente, ma è prodotto in serie.Le soluzioni tecniche sono il risultato di sperimentazioni originali e tradizionali insieme.Rapidità di montaggio e molteplicità delle declinazioni funzionali si sommano alle qualità estetiche del cuoio ed al suo calore.Seguendo rigorose regole di qualità e accurata lavorazione, riscontrabile in ogni elemento ed in ogni dettaglio, COVRE ha potuto raggiungere un ambito traguardo consolidato dai venti anni di esperienza.

Covre’s extremely high levels of specialization in its leather creations have been on the market since 1980. The partnership between Covre and Studio Sigla by Marina Bani and Marco Penati has lasted for years thanks to their common passion for a material as ancient and noble as leather, which is, however, also extremely flexible and subject to surprisingly new and modern interpretations.The Galileo collection and the doors Euclide in this catalogue are not a finishing variant of the surfaces.Leather makes them unique and the only way to create them is by the means of leather. The careful attention in the working of the leather is enhanced by realizations which are typical of the saddlery business. Each detail is hand made and hand finished and is serially produced.Our technical solutions are the result of both original and traditional experimentation.Our speed in assembling our creations and their multiple functional variants are combined with the the beauty and the warmth of leather.By following strict quality rules and accurate hand work in every single element and every detail of our produc-tion, Covre has been able to reach a prestigious level of production, consolidated by thirty years of experience in the leather business.

Design: Marina Bani e Marco Penati

Marina Bani e Marco Penati sono i progettisti di Archimede, Pitagora ed Euclide.La loro storia di designers è ricca e varia.

Attraverso l’attività dello Studio Sigla, da loro fondato nel 1997, hanno collaborato con multinazionali dell’industria come Pirelli Sapsa, Pyrex, Saint

Gobain Glass e Bormioli Rocco per la progettazione di oggetti di largo consumo.Hanno allestito mostre e arredi d’interni in Europa, Russia e Giappone.

Per aziende di diversa natura e dimensione hanno condotto laboratori di progetto in Spagna, Turchia, Grecia e Francia, allo scopo di introdurre la cultura e i metodi del

design italiano.I loro prodotti figurano o hanno figurato nei cataloghi delle più prestigiose

aziende del design italiano comeArflex, Baleri Italia, Desalto, Fontana Arte, Flou, Tisettanta, Zanotta.

Nel campo dell’arredamento classico hanno firmato collezioni complete per Colombostile e Medea.

In particolare per Colombostile hanno progettato e curato l’engineering della collezione Elits’ che è costituita da oggetti d’arredo completamente

rivestiti in cuoio. Vivono e lavorano in Brianza, nel cuore del distretto italiano del design e del mobile.

Maria Bani and Marco Penati are the designers that created Archimede, Pitagora and Euclide. Their history as designers is rich and varied.

After founding their design studio in 1997, Studio Sigla, they have collaborated with various multinational companies in this sector such as Pirelli Sapsa, Pyrex, Saint Gobain Glass and Bormioli Rocco for the development of

consumer goods. They designed and realised exhibitions and furniture in Europe, Russia and Japan.

They created workshops for various companies in Spain, Turkey, Greece and France with the aim of introducing in those countries the culture and the methods of

the Italian design.Their creations have been -and still are- present in the catalogues of some the most

prestigious companies of the Italian design such as Arflex, Baleri Italia, Desalto, Fontana Arte, Flou, Tisettanta, Zanotta.

In the field of the traditional furniture they have created some collections for Colombostile and Medea.

In particular, on behalf of Colombostile they projected and implemented the engineering of the collection Elits’, which is composed of furnishing objects

completely covered in leather.They both live and work in Brianza, the heart of the Italian

design and furniture district.

La collezione di porte Euclide è una proposta innovativa di applicazione della pelle e del cuoietto. Possono essere in pelle, lavorate a bassorilievo con una tecnica esclusiva made in Covre. Oppure in cuoietto, con diverse soluzioni ad intarsio, arricchite da cuciture in tinta. Sono interamente rivestite sulle facciate, i battenti e gli stipiti con i relativi coprifili. Le cerniere sono invisibili. Possono essere reversibili nel montaggio. Le maniglie sono in fusione di alluminio con l’impugnatura in cuoio o pelle. La serratura ha il cricchetto magnetico, per cui non è in vista a porta aperta. Possono essere personalizzate a richiesta del cliente con decori esclusivi e accostamenti di diverse finiture nei colori della cartella.

The indoor doors collection “Euclide” is an innovative leather application. The doors can be in leather decorated in bas-relief with an exclusive technique developed by Covre. They can also be in leather with different decorations and engravings and enriched with colour matching stitching. The doors are fully covered in leather on both sides as well as the doorposts and their related wire coveres. The doors hinges are invisible. The doors can also be reversible upon assembling. The handles are made of cast alluminium covered in leather. The door has a magnetic locking system which is not in sight when the door is open. All doors can be customised upon request with exclusive decorations and different finishing in the colour range available.

Collezione Galileo la collezione Galileo è un ambiente notte compiuto, e si armonizza con il sistema armadi Archimede, completando l’offerta della camera da letto. Ne fanno parte un letto con testiera e sponde in cuoio e pelle. Una panca contenitore da pediera, con apertura doppia. Uno scrittoio completo di cassetti e ribalte. Una poltrona relax con schienale alto e poggiatesta, regolabile in altezza e oscillante con relativo pouf. Tutti i mobili sono personalizzabili con finiture e accostamenti nei colori della cartella.

The Galileo collection is a full night bedroom set and matches the “Archimede” cabin wardrobe system, this completing bedroom offer. The bed has a high-head and edges covered in leather. A multipurpose chest with double opening is also included in the set, as well as a desk complete with drawers and flaps. Galileo includes also a relaxing armchair with high back and headrest that can be set in height and in reclination. A pouf matches the armchair. All forniture can be customised.

The “Galileo” bed has a multi- layered structure and is covered in leather and crocodile printed leather. It is completed with precious details such as the crystals on both sides of the bed head the pillow in “Agnelina” leather and the decorations on the bed edges.
